Exis Hotel

What guests think

At Exis Hotel, guests often praise friendly staff and clean rooms, while noting an older property with maintenance issues, bus links but a 10-15 minute walk to the metro, and a neighborhood some found noisy or uneasy at night.

Several reviews mention spacious rooms with high ceilings, balconies or terraces with views, and classic decor, though a few found rooms smaller. Breakfast is frequently described as good to excellent. Expect a budget stay with character in a non-central, urban area.

The property photos are VERY misleading and this was why I originally selected the place. Once you are there and see the poor condition of the room and broken door and jacuzzi knobs it is deceptive and should noty even be listed on this site. Lastly they are liars so I will back it by saying I hace photos to prove my point.

Need some modernisation, but extremely cheap and good value for what you get. Metro a 10-15 min walk away, but bus stop conveniently a short walk away. Grocery stores and some decent restaurants in neighbouring areas too. Some noise late at night, but mainly from the fast food delivery scooters.

If the hotel could be transported to another neighborhood, I'd offer a higher star rating. There was so much yelling outside most of both nights I stayed - by a few young men - I didn’t sleep much. The red and white fabric rose petals strewn all over the room and bathroom were confusing. Maybe I had the honeymoon suite.

Hotel staff were great and very helpful, supportive and friendly. However the locality of the hotel in the suberbs of Athens didn't feel very safe. It was noisy in the evenings, but in the daytime anywhere in Athens was walkable. Overall, you can't expexct more for the price....
