Gloria Maris Hotel Suites and Villas

Super god oplevelse hele vejen igennem, vi startede med at få en gratis opgradering ved ankomst, blot en enkelt nat, men det var fantastisk værelse. Personalet, maden og drinks var virkeligt prisværdigt, noget jeg ikke har set andre steder. Oplevelserne på hotellet var gode alt fra pool, til leje af både, ATV'er og strandbaren var rigtig gode. Den unikke udsigt over turtle island fra værelserne og restauranten fås ikke bedre på øen.

Absolutely phenomenal all around. The setting of the hotel and views from breakfast/pool area are unreal. Breakfast was also delicious and fresh! Private beach with a very tropical and secluded ambiance.

Although the hotel is in need of some serious repairs on the common areas and is clearly undergoing renovations on rooms (there is a mix of old and new) we really liked the vibe at the hotel. A huge minus was the breakfast with the warm food being served cold. Staff was very friendly and helpful, nice cocktails made at the bar and the hotel’s driver was a cool guy with high guide-potential! We enjoyed both laying at the pool and at the small beach below the hotel as we like tranquility during the day. We recommend renting a boat at the hotel as it is more convenient than going to the harbor. We are definitely coming back, a stay is already booked. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sehr schönes Hotel mit ruhiger aber sehr schöner Lage. Einkauf und Restaurants in Reichweite. Liegen am Strand sind teilweise im Schatten und ausreichend vorhanden. Frühstück ist okay - guter Standard. Sauberkeit ziemlich gut bis auf die Toiletten im UG - die waren nicht zumutbar, sodass man wenn man am Strand war immer ins Zimmer musste um auf Toilette zu gehen. Die Zimmer wiederum sind gut ausgestattet, klimatisiert, gemütlich und funktional eingerichtet. Der Meerblick vom Balkon ist fantastisch.

+ Pool und die Sicht auf das Meer + Zimmer - Das Hotel war nicht sauber, auch die Zimmer wurden nicht gross gereinigt - Wenn man Getränke oder Essen bestellte, musste man mindestens 1 Stunde warten - Das Frühstück war immer gleich. Für guten Cappuccino oder einen „frischen“ Orangensaft musste man zusätzlich zahlen = War nicht im Frühstück inbegriffen - Man muss für die Taxis immer bar bezahlen, auch vom Hotel aus = Bargeld dabei haben im 2023 - Das Geschirr am Pool oder in der Anlage wurden teilweise bis zum nächsten Tag nicht abgeräumt, generell war es ausserhalb des Pools nicht sauber, auch Scherben lagen rum, was Verletzung am Fuss als Folge hatte. Die Flecken wurden nicht gereinigt (siehe Foto) - Die meisten Liegen am Pool sind in die Jahre gekommen Zusammengefasst handelt es sich hierbei um ein überteuertes Hotel, was in keinster Weise einem normalen 4 Sterne Hotel nahe kommen würde. Schade.

Geweldig hotel met fantastisch acces to the beach. Heerlijk bed op kamer. Geweldige douche. Mooi uitzicht (wij hebben uitzicht aan zee geboekt. Heerlijk zwembad met veel Bedjes. Goed restaurant. Ontbijt top. Meer dan voldoende keuze. Aan zee geweldige locatie om te liggen op super bedjes. Direct aan zee.

Staff was shy and felt uncomfortable speaking English. Couldn’t answer simple questions. The pool could use some upgrading, but worked fine to cool off. Sunbeds by the water had a super thin mattress and were quite uncomfortable. Some sunbeds by the beach were broken and the sun beds by the pool had seen better days but worked fine. The cleaning staff did not read the do not disturb sign and knocked and opened the door a couple of times when we did not expect it. Nothing was on time: transfer to/ from the airport, the boat ride, the food etc.

This property was great. The hotel was very nice and convenient as they have a great pool, dining and bar options and access to its own beach. They also make it easy to book rental boats, rental quads and some tours right from the hotel. There’s also a minimart connected to the hotel for the all the essentials you would need. The only disadvantage was there are limited dining options in the area.

Incredible property, well kept with very nicely furnished rooms. Ample parking, convenient location and friendly staff. The sea view from the hotel is breathtaking!

Ansich eine sehr schöne Unterkunft allerdings war der Whirlpool nicht sauber . Einige Renovierungen würden nicht schaden wie zb. Der Boden bei unser unternterkunft die sichtschutz Mauer . Dan gingen einige Lichtschalter nicht der Handtuchhalter war lose uvm.

I booked the penthouse for 1 week. This was to include 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. I arrive to discover the second bedroom is a mattress on the floor upstairs with construction materials stacked in the room. After the 1st night, the cleaning staff locked the access to the room and I couldn’t even use it! The bathroom was also disgusting and unsanitary. I filled the tub on the 1st night, turned on the jets & orange algae and other peoples hair came out of the jets. I have never been so disgusted! I had to spend my own time and money to purchase cleaning supplies and scrub the bathroom just to be able to safely use it. The bedroom linens consisted of 2 sheets & no blankets or options to receive blankets! In the evening it gets quite chilly so I found myself sleeping in sweaters. During day the penthouse windows heat up the entire space gets very hot. The a/c would be great, IF IT WORKED! Don’t expect to have any place to hang your clothing. There are NO hangers. NO hooks. The only closet is locked with no access. My suspicion is all the blankets are in there. Haha! If you want to sit down at the table for a meal, forget it. There is a large dining room table and ONE chair. If you want to watch TV you’ll have to set it up yourself. (And I mean completely set it up). The TV is on the floor with all its electrical components behind it. Speaking of…be weary of all the open wiring at every outlet, light switch and plug in lamps. I could go on if I didn’t have a 1500 character limit!

Wir sind zu zweit gereist und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem gesamten Hotel. Ich habe einige schlechte Bewertungen gelesen, die ich nicht bestätigen kann. Das Hotelzimmer ist neu und gut eingerichtet. Kleinigkeiten in Bezug auf die Sauberkeit könnten bemängelt werden, jedoch ist es grundsätzlich sauber und es wurde jeden Tag geputzt. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war unserer Meinung nach sehr gut. Es stand alles zur Verfügung was man braucht. Auch das Personal war immer extrem freundlich und hat bei allen Fragen geholfen. Die Lage war perfekt, da es sehr ruhig war.

Ohne ein Auto ist man dort aufgeschmissen, Dreck und Müll überall

J’ai été extrêmement déçue de cet hôtel vs le prix que nous avons payé. Par où commencer… nous sommes arrivés et le sol de la chambre était plein d’eau… nous avons avisé la réception ils sont venus nettoyer mais jamais ils ont enlever/remplacer le frigo qui coulait constamment. La chambre n’était pas très propres… des cheveux/poils ici et la. Les serviettes étaient sales ou tachées (doit être changer) le site indique qu’il y a un spa mais il était vide et 2 piscines mais nous avions accès qu’à une seule piscine (pas en bonne état et pas entretenue!) Les chambres ne sont pas isolées nous entendions nos voisins. Nous avons pris que des douches froides, on nous a dit d’attendre 10 minutes et au bout de 25 mins nous n’avions toujours pas d’eau chaude. Cet hôtel marquait la fin de notre voyage de 5 semaines et malheureusement on regrette beaucoup notre choix ! Le terrain est mal entretenu et les fauteuils extérieurs sont sales et trop vieux pour ce qu’on paye! Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel!

Nice resort in a very beautiful and quiet place, greta staff, clean and fresh room(garden view) with everyday cleaning service and really good breakfast which was included. Friendly staff and ability to book taxi and tours directly from the hotel. I tried "keri caves tour" and can highly recommend it. I did it in a very small group and we got possibility to sweem in a clear and blue water. I olso saw a couple of turtules on the way to caves. Area has a couple of local tavernas with a good food which are not a part of the hotel zone and small shop. Hotel has also a restaurant with a great view and a really good food.

Where do I begin... No one to take the bags up to the room on the 3rd floor was our 'welcome'. Breakfast SUCKED! Didn't provide change of towels or soap. The blond lady at the front desk, Mary, tried to rip us off on every taxi/trip/boat booking...Unreal!

Everything was superb except the location of our executive seaview room which was located close to the caretaker/cleaning room, which gave us some bad fumes/odor and also alot of noice when the washer/dryer was operated (Pretty much constantly until nightfall).

Het hotel heeft aan de achterkant een mooi uitzicht. Vriendelijk personeel en ze hebben heerijk eten. Wij zaten in een kamer op de bg. Wat een ramp, enorm gehorig. Elke nacht wakker geegen van de herrie. Daarnaast is ook regelmatig het warme water op en dat terwijl het voorseizoen is en het hotel nog geen 1/3 vol zat. Deze twee minpunten zijn voor ons zo belangrijk dat wij nooit meer terug zouden gaan. We zouden het hotel bij niemand aanraden.

We have a excellent time at the Gloria Maris the staff were very friendly and very helpful, from the reception, the restaurant and the bartenders, the food was delicious and the view from the room was a breath taking, an overall was a fantastic experience I will definitely recommend to anyone

Het is een fijn hotel, personeel is enorm behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het hotel ligt direct aan zee. Het uitzicht is fantastisch mooi. Je hebt wel een vervoermiddel nodig. Aan het ontbijt ontbreekt niks. Wij hebben een heerlijk tijd gehad.

We went in october, so it was the season closeding down, so has limited staff working, literally nothing was available.

Geweldig Hotel !!! Super uitzicht Heerlijk rustig maar om het Eiland te verkennen raad ik wel aan om een Auto te huren. Hotel ligt vrij afgelegen..

We recommend renting a boat at the hotel as it is more convenient than going to the harbor. We are definitely coming back, a stay is already booked. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sehr schönes Hotel mit ruhiger aber sehr schöner Lage. Einkauf und Restaurants in Reichweite. Liegen am Strand sind teilweise im Schatten und ausreichend vorhanden. Frühstück ist okay - guter Standard. Sauberkeit ziemlich gut bis auf die Toiletten im UG - die waren nicht zumutbar, sodass man wenn man am Strand war immer ins Zimmer musste um auf Toilette zu gehen. Die Zimmer wiederum sind gut ausgestattet, klimatisiert, gemütlich und funktional eingerichtet. Der Meerblick vom Balkon ist fantastisch.

+ Pool und die Sicht auf das Meer + Zimmer - Das Hotel war nicht sauber, auch die Zimmer wurden nicht gross gereinigt - Wenn man Getränke oder Essen bestellte, musste man mindestens 1 Stunde warten - Das Frühstück war immer gleich. Für guten Cappuccino oder einen „frischen“ Orangensaft musste man zusätzlich zahlen = War nicht im Frühstück inbegriffen - Man muss für die Taxis immer bar bezahlen, auch vom Hotel aus = Bargeld dabei haben im 2023 - Das Geschirr am Pool oder in der Anlage wurden teilweise bis zum nächsten Tag nicht abgeräumt, generell war es ausserhalb des Pools nicht sauber, auch Scherben lagen rum, was Verletzung am Fuss als Folge hatte. Die Flecken wurden nicht gereinigt (siehe Foto) - Die meisten Liegen am Pool sind in die Jahre gekommen Zusammengefasst handelt es sich hierbei um ein überteuertes Hotel, was in keinster Weise einem normalen 4 Sterne Hotel nahe kommen würde. Schade.

Nice resort in a very beautiful and quiet place, greta staff, clean and fresh room(garden view) with everyday cleaning service and really good breakfast which was included. Friendly staff and ability to book taxi and tours directly from the hotel. I tried "keri caves tour" and can highly recommend it. I did it in a very small group and we got possibility to sweem in a clear and blue water. I olso saw a couple of turtules on the way to caves. Area has a couple of local tavernas with a good food which are not a part of the hotel zone and small shop. Hotel has also a restaurant with a great view and a really good food.

We have a excellent time at the Gloria Maris the staff were very friendly and very helpful, from the reception, the restaurant and the bartenders, the food was delicious and the view from the room was a breath taking, an overall was a fantastic experience I will definitely recommend to anyone

Geweldig hotel met fantastisch acces to the beach. Heerlijk bed op kamer. Geweldige douche. Mooi uitzicht (wij hebben uitzicht aan zee geboekt. Heerlijk zwembad met veel Bedjes. Goed restaurant. Ontbijt top. Meer dan voldoende keuze. Aan zee geweldige locatie om te liggen op super bedjes. Direct aan zee.

Although the hotel is in need of some serious repairs on the common areas and is clearly undergoing renovations on rooms (there is a mix of old and new) we really liked the vibe at the hotel. A huge minus was the breakfast with the warm food being served cold. Staff was very friendly and helpful, nice cocktails made at the bar and the hotel’s driver was a cool guy with high guide-potential! We enjoyed both laying at the pool and at the small beach below the hotel as we like tranquility during the day. + Amazing view Beautiful surroundings Helpful staff in the reception Boat trips and rentals of cars, mopeds or ATVs/ quads avail able Pool and beach Good drinks Easy to find parking Good location (close to mini-market, cafe and several restaurants). - The poolbar had highs and lows, food was good for the most part but sometimes it was missing ingredients och was burnt and sent back. Sometime the wait was crazy long (over one hour at one point). They almost never brought the dishes at the same time so me. Sometimes they forgot part of the order. Staff was shy and felt uncomfortable speaking English. Couldn’t answer simple questions. The pool could use some upgrading, but worked fine to cool off. Sunbeds by the water had a super thin mattress and were quite uncomfortable. Some sunbeds by the beach were broken and the sun beds by the pool had seen better days but worked fine. The cleaning staff did not read the do not disturb sign and knocked and opened the door a couple of times when we did not expect it. Nothing was on time: transfer to/ from the airport, the boat ride, the food etc.

This property was great. The hotel was very nice and convenient as they have a great pool, dining and bar options and access to its own beach. They also make it easy to book rental boats, rental quads and some tours right from the hotel. There’s also a minimart connected to the hotel for the all the essentials you would need. The only disadvantage was there are limited dining options in the area.
