Lovely hotel, in a stunning beachfront location, with a private beach. Wonderfully attentive staff throughout the hotel, in particular Anna who worked around the pool, and in the restaurant in the evenings was fabulous. The buffet options in the main restaurant were pretty good for breakfast and dinner. And the other restaurants - which you pay extra for, had truly delicious food.. in all of them as. Despite the hotel being full, it never felt busy. Evening entertainment could be better, the singer we saw a couple of times unfortunately was not the best. All in all a fantastic stay!

Amazing staff and beautiful hotel, lovely to spend time by the pools and beach. Very nice village 20 minutes from hotel, we walked there in the evening for dinner and took the mini-train back. We have recommended the hotel both to friends with and without children.

The entire property and staff exuded and promoted a sense of relaxation which was really something we were looking for. The beach and pool areas were very accomodating in regards to food/drink ordering. Proper maintenance was obvious on the grounds as we ways saw staff out keeping things well manicured and taken care of. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite with a private pool for our last two nights which was quite beautiful. We would definitely recommend the Royal Blue to anyone considering a vacation in Crete.

Dort wartete ein Teller mit landestypischer Süßigkeiten und eine Flasche Wein. Dem Wunsch, das Zimmer zu wechseln (das wirklich einzige Manko war der nicht uneingeschränkte Meerblick des von uns gebuchten Zimmers) wurde prompt und sehr freundlich entsprochen. Überhaupt war das Personal durchgehend überaus freundlich, aufmerksam und bemüht. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, weitläufig und wunderschön. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umwerfend - da ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Zweimal wurde uns während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts ein Teller mit Obst gebracht und zum Abschied gab es auch noch ein kleines Präsent. Zudem gab es jeden Tag kostenlos eine Flasche Wasser. Sowohl die diversen Pools als auch die vor Wellengang geschützte Badebucht waren mit ausreichenden und bequemen Liegen und Sonnenschirmen ausgestattet. Kostenlos wurden Badehandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir können dieses Hotel nur uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!!

Beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful. Facilities great, hotel feel is laid back and luxurious but not fussy. Very clean and beautifully kept grounds. Location is great 30 minute walk to beautiful little town Panormo which has plenty restaurants, bars and a few shops. 30 minute drive into the city of Rethymno. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed base to explore Crete, we stayed for 1 week and felt we could have easily stayed another few days.

It was a great hotel, lovely and clean. Well presented and great food and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. Staff were very accommodating given it was our honeymoon. Although child friendly it was very much almost all adults and the few children and young people around were not disruptive. Some small details could do with touch ups plaster cracked, flaking, cracked steps etc

We had a wonderful holiday at the Royal Blue. We arrived on a late flight and there was a problem with our suite so we were upgraded. We could not believe our luck, sheer luxury. The staff were so friendly, the dining experience excellent and we just felt thoroughly spoiled all week. Would love to return.

This was the resort we needed to kick-start our honeymoon the right way. They have it all, golf-buggy door service, multiple pools, day beds and sun beds, cocktails by the pool, multiple restaurants and bars, buffet breakfast. The bed was a little firm but our experience here was still very amazing. The staff are so helpful and so kind, we would gladly come back!

Das Personal war zwar sehr freundlich, jedoch konnten sie an vielen Stellen einfach nicht weiterhelfen. Am ersten Tag haben wir am Pool Getränke bestellt und haben das doppelte bezahlt im Vergleich zum 2. Tag. Da hat nämlich ein anderer Service-Mitarbeiter gearbeitet. Bei der Begrüßung wollte man, dass wir die Reisekosten gleich zahlen, obwohl wir die Reise bereits vor Wochen bezahlt haben und auch eine Bestätigung erhalten haben…und so ging es weiter bis am letzten Tag auch noch der Koffer vom Personal auf den Boden gefallen ist und wir noch diskutieren mussten, dass das Hotel die Reparatur-Kosten nicht übernehmen kann, da das Hotel dafür nicht versichert ist und das die Reparatur vom Personal zu zahlen ist….das finde ich schon sehr unverschämt!

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The views, food, staff, and amenities were all exceptional. We only stayed for a few days and did not get an opportunity to experience everything the hotel has to offer. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Veldig gode fasiliteter, fantastisk ren sand strand, veldig stille og ingen bølger. Litt lite senger ved bassenget. Buffe restaurant med utvendig balkong og utsikt over havet gjør at det er ok å spise en buffé middag, maten var ok, frokost ikke så bra. Vil si at maten var ikke tilfredsstillende. Men verst av alt var prisene på mat og drikke utenfor pakken ( vi hadde halv pensjon) det var norske priser, brukte ca kr 35k i tillegg på familie på 4 i 2 uker dvs bare på lunsj og drikke/vin til middag, og vi tok kun vann til lunsj. Det var en utrolig kul bar ved stranden med bra musikk men nesten ingen var der, underholdning og stemning om kvelden var non existent og det bør en ha når hotellet er så isolert. God ferie men mye som kan forbedres så kan ikke helt anbefale den.
