Parking is not near the property and the walk is down a dirt road and a number of stairs (unlit at night). You also need to walk alongside the abandoned castle and under an archway which had burnt out rubbish. Walking down from the pension there was no lighting on the steep steps into the back alleys of semi abandoned buildings. Directly opposite my room on the ground floor was an abandoned building with burnt rubbish and significant graffiti. The only time on 21 days in Greece that I checked to make sure every window and door was locked. Would not recommend the location for a lone female traveller. The host was extremely gracious and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was there for a short time so didn’t have time for the breakfast. My only advice would be to check on exactly which room your staying- the directions sent me to Pension A which is at the bottom of the hill (where I parked) but my room was Pension D which is at the top of the hill. The staff helped carry my bags but I could’ve parked a lot closer and saved everyone the effort.
