The caboose was really cute. Loved my time of stay. Room booking includes homemade breakfast. The breakfast is freshly made. The staff, Gabriella and Anna were very much friendly and great to chat with. They were quite accommodating. Special requests were taken care of really well. It’s definitely a must visit for great experience. The place also has access to private Dock Area to relax and enjoy some time by the lake.

The Featherbed RR is a unique and peaceful place. We enjoyed staying in a delightfully themed caboose. It was comfortable and quiet. The shared outdoor space was comfortably equipped and well lighted at night. The breakfast was delicious and generous.

My wife and I are both 60 years old, and this was our only vacation of the summer. We even withdrew money from my 401(k) because we couldn't afford a longer trip. What should have been a relaxing getaway ended with us being asked to leave early, cutting our vacation short. Throughout our stay, we followed every request made by the owners. We paid the pet fee, kept our dogs leashed and under control, and when they asked us to turn our radio down, we immediately did so without complaint. On the third day, however, we were told we had to leave because our marijuana pipes were visible and were supposedly an inconvenience to other guests. Marijuana is completely legal in California, and we use it responsibly for medicinal purposes to help with PTSD, sleep, and chronic stress. We were not causing a disturbance or behaving irresponsibly. What hurt the most was feeling judged because of our legal choice of medication. I left feeling as though we were treated like criminals instead of paying guests. We were asked to leave early, our vacation was ruined, and we were not offered a refund or any meaningful explanation beyond the pipes being visible. Everyone is entitled to run their business as they see fit, but I believe guests deserve to know what to expect. If the property has a zero-tolerance policy regarding marijuana. The company waited until Expedia released the funds before kicking us out. Cheesy at best. I guess they need the money.
