Upon arrival at the property we found zero parking places. There was a U-Haul parked horizontal tanking up several spots, a truck with a loaded trailer parked similar and an area taped off with construction equipment. All till about 20 spaces taken. I saw vehicles that had jumped the curb and parked in the grass, vehicles parked along the pathways - all potential hazards. I went and asked about the situation at the front desk and was told by her that I could next door and park at the Burger King. That was not acceptable to me. I asked her about the vehicles that were not parked correctly and she said that she could not find their rooms. This is odd because she asked me about the year, make and model car that I was driving when I checked in. I assume she ask the same question to the others and wrote it on the reservation sheet. I asked about a refund for our room but the suggestion of me remaining right in front of the entrance door was offered for parking. I wanted to make sure we would not be towed or in the way. The room we stayed in was pleasant and very quiet. This was my first experience in not being able to park at a motel. It almost ruined our stay.

The elevators going down are so slow that we thought we were stuck every time we used them. Hallways were at least 90 degrees. Room was musty and fixtures were just worn out, damaged, stained, or half-broken. Staff was fine, but facilities need more maintenance. We would pay more to stay somewhere nicer next time. Also, the closet smelled of old shrimp. The mini-fridge was very warm and stinky as well. I think the cleaning staff are doing the most they can, things just need replaced.

Light in shower didn’t work, flashed on and off, door to bathroom would not close, light in wall closest to window flashed on and off, no reading light by couch, a soft spot in the floor in front of couch(scary) and the elevator was very scary and slow.

This hotel has good cleanliness and location. We reserved it because it has an indoor pool for my kids, unfortunately the pool is not heated and in November it was too cold to swim in. The breakfast is as basic as it gets.

Recent remodel was poorly done. Stuff was dirty. One elevator was broken and another guest said it had been for a long time. Parking lot was too small, I was parked in and front desk clerk didn't care.

Very limited parking, compounded by several spots being used to store building materials. Two elevators but only one was functional. Ice machine on our floor not working. At checkout, I asked for a printed receipt and was told I couldn’t have one. She gave a reason but it didn’t make sense. The facility did move us due to our neighbors kids being out of control. New room was quiet and nice. The facility is in a good location and convenient to Montgomery, and could be nice if the management will make an effort to address the challenges.

I killed a cockroach that scurried across the floor of the room right after we arrived. There was a pile of dirt and debris in the corner by the door that looked like it had been there for awhile. Grout looked really dirty by the entryway and bathroom. Room was very poorly lit, couldn’t really see much which was extra concerning as some of us were freaking out about if there were more cockroaches roaming the room. Breakfast was okay.

The sofa in the room was wet the lamp was broken the shower curtain had mold on the bottom of it the phone didn’t work the Lobby smelled like smoke two of the pillows on the bed were dirty when I took the pillow cases off the ironing board cover was dirty the iron was cheap the trash cans were mismatch the window treatments were horrible I saw a spider crawling on the ceiling the windows were dirty there was a wet spot on the floor when I entered the room

I was very pleased with my stay. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and checked me in in just a couple of minutes. My room was very nice, super clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Not clean, not clean, not clean. I stay in a lot of hotels a year and rarely do I feel a need to write a review, but this must be written. I had two rooms for my family and we stayed here based on the ratings on Expedia, but I could not have been more disappointed. In one room there was food crumbs all over the room, pubic hair noticeably throughout from the counters, to the bathroom, the sink, the shower, and the floor, fake eyelashes on the nightstand including one on the phone, and a full handprint on the shower curtain that looked like it was from makeup. In the other room there were multiple greasy stains on the comforters of both queen beds that could have been anything, the nightstand was at a 70 degree angle to the floor from someone sitting on it, and I killed a 2.5 inch long, large cockroach. The hotel smelled clean but I fear that was a mask for uncleanliness and poor maintenance. The staff could clearly learn lessons in both. Haven’t stayed at a La Quinta in 25 years and probably will be another 25 before I do again.

If we ever happen to pass through the area again we will stay here. When you walk into the lobby you immediately smell a clean floral smell and you get greeted with a smile. The rooms were clean and everything was wonderful.

Hotel was comfortable for a short stay. We arrived late, which added to a frustrating experience as they had overbooked and given away our double queen suite, so we were placed in an accessible king room with two pull-out couches. There was bedding for only one, and at 2 a.m., I had to hunt down sheets and pillows. While the clerk was pleasant, she remained chatting on the phone with headphones in while assisting me. The room was warm, and the A/C didn’t seem to work well. Barking dogs were also a disturbance. Overall, the hotel felt cheap, but it was well-lit, safe, and in a nice area close to Starbucks and other necessities.

The staff is always on point. This is my favorite hotel in Eastchase! However, my children and I had trouble sleeping with the noisy neighbors. It was a lot of loud repetitively knocking on doors, angrily shouting and I never have those type problems when I come.

Right upon entry, you’re greeted by the friendly staff. I wasn’t able to make it to my upgrade (early check in, with additional fee), she immediately removed the charge before processing my deposit. The hotel is well maintained and has a fresh, clean scent when entering the room. This is like my 4-5th stay at this place in 6 years and will continue to choose them.

The desk guy wouldn't let my wife check in, said he needed MY id, since it's technically in my name. I've never had that problem before. Then he pretended not to recognize us, saw I'd grabbed a bag of chips and although he'd JUST had my card apparently didn't feel like running it. It's on file, he didn't even HAVE to run it. The carpet in this room is full of stains, some of them sticky. I've not had a problem with this chain before, but definitely will not stay in this particular location again.

I remember speaking with Shawn on the phone she was very helpful. That morning at check out, she remembered me. That is what great customer service looks like. The young lady on night shift was very nice and respectful too. The only problem i had was the breakfast and parking. They have one waffle machine, which makes for a long wait. The sausage is super super salty. No one cleaned the tables in between guest eating breakfast. We got back late from the rodeo and couldn't find a parking spot. It was a penske truck blocking 5 spots. I will definitely be back. Hopefully those few things will be fixed.

Everything was good except for the breakfast area. We went down about 8:30 and there was no hot food. I asked the staff (who were all in the kitchen talking) and they said it was coming. One staff member came out with eggs. I asked again about the sausage and hash browns, and another staff member said sausage would be out in 6 minutes. I travel a lot and it seems to me that with at least 3-4 in the kitchen, they could keep up with the food better. Left without eating.

I enjoy my stay at Laquinta. It was quiet, clean, friendly staff, and gym had everything you need. The kitchen staff made sure breakfast was replenished, and delicious. The room was nice and clean. Cleaning crew made sure you had ample supply of clean towels. Will stay here again!

Price was good. Location was good. Evening staff was good. Morning staff poor. Sausage and eggs were tepid and the potatoes were ice cold and hard. The decaf coffe carafe was empty. We were there at the breakfast start 6 AM. Front desk staff was unattentive to the problems.
