Wonderful, helpful employees in every situation. Pool area is great. Tall trees surrounding property, with bird song is so pleasant. Room was adequate, especially kitchenette. Some traffic noise and a sketchy area, but our stay was ok.

Went back to desk and attendant came back with me to check door, was told there’s a problem with the lock, no card will work and they’ll call for service tomorrow. Elevator is very dirty. Hallway to my room smells terrible and bugs crawling on ac unit.

The room was not cleaned to hotel standards, there was hair on the sink and in the tub. One of the beds in the room was made up with a sock in it, there was dog food and urine on the carpet in the room. My sister got bit by a bed bug. None of the staff members wanted to take ownership of my complaint they all said to speak with the general manager. After finally getting in contact with her after calling on numerous occasions, she appeared to be very unprofessional, condescending and rude as she only was able to tell me that there was no bedbugs in the room without even having the room, inspected for bedbugs. She was very argumentative and very unapologetic. all of this HOTEL staff members need to take a hospitality training starting with the general manager.

No breakfast that was advertised when I booked and had to go to 3 rooms to find a clean one. First one was covered in bugs. Staff was super nice and helpful in making sure we found a room we where ok with.

Room was nice, BEDS HORRIBLE! I had to sleep in the recliner chair both nights! Beds are way too soft and when you sit on the side of the bed the mattress goes to the box springs! Wasn’t happy about sleeping in recliner after paying for 2 beds! Asked if all rooms had the same kind of mattresses and was told yes, no reason to go to another room if the beds were going to be the same! Some people have back problems and needs hard mattress!

My stay was very good. No issues after checking in. Prior to checking, I inquired about an upcoming reservation for the next day; I had to reserve my stay separately. Any whoot. While questioning my other 2 reservations, I was informed I had 2, desk clerk Corey states I only had one showing in the system. I gave him all my info. He tells me, “well I can’t make the other one magically appear.” He displayed such an unprofessional attitude. Now I’ve worked in hospitality for over three years as a hotel night auditor, so I know the ins/outs. So I had to call my booking to confirm my reservations. After driving for 5 1/2 hrs to get here, not eating anything; it took me an hour to get this corrected before I could get settled.

AC took awhile to cool room off because they don’t keep room cool IN FLORIDA OF ALL PLACES when it’s 100 degrees! Small bugs seen in bathroom, AC loud at night and it blows directly on bed. Location is scary for single woman traveler/did not feel safe

Because we tend to make at least breakfast (smoothies) from our hotel room and bring a lot of refrigerated items, we were pleasantly surprised to see a full kitchen and full size frig in our room! I had forgotten Candlewood equips guests for longer stays. Everything from the bed to the bathroom and overall comfort was very accomodating and i will consider Candlewood for every trip if possible going forward!

I chose this hotel because another family member has stayed here. It’s quiet/ spacious/ easy to get to. I would stay here again but some insight: if you forget anything (ie: toothbrush paste) it is FOR SALE at the desk- typically these items are free. There is no room service (no big deal), there are kitchens and cooking items, full fridge and freezer. It was clean and tucked back off the road.
