Check in was a breeze, property is quiet and clean, rooms are spacious. My one problem with this hotel is that the pool isn’t open. That was not indicated when booking and was literally the one reason I picked this hotel over others in the area. I'm traveling with young kids who would have loved to swim after a long day in the hot sun. Be aware of this when booking!

We were in and out of this property as a stop on our way back home. They had a little bell to ring at check-in and someone came right away. Check-in was fast and without issues. Had an accessible double bed room and everything was very clean and tidy. Did not try any other amenities, but there were snack options to purchase, what looked like a coffee bar and a pool. We had two small dogs with us and there was a small area to the side of the hotel where they could go and it was easy to clean up after. The outside area also looked clean and parking was right there. Easy to reach from the road and easy to get into town fur restaurants.

Indoor swimming pool is really nice. Bacon+ eggs, etc., is always nicely done. Rooms are large and well-furnished. Staff is always very friendly.

Property was clean. Good amount of parking for cars, buses, and trucks. The rooms (two we were in) were basically cleaned on the surface but not deep cleaned (carpets, and bathrooms) in years. The bad parts of this location are the staff. Other than Alesha (the night manager) the staff were rude and disrespectful. I said “Hi, how are doing” when ever I walked by the lobby and barely got a “Hi” a couple times. It seemed like people really don’t want to work there which to me says it’s a problem bad management. We had left our room by about 10am each day and when we came back it had not been cleaned once in the 4 nights we were there. One of the mornings I requested the room to be cleaned and to get new cups but when we came back nothing had been done.

Based on the guest rating, we were *extremely* surprised by the condition of this hotel. Our tub had areas of rust inside it on the bottom and did not drain. Towels were kept on a low shelf next to the toilet (imagine the amount of urine droplets on them). TV remote did not work. Hardly any channels, and Netflix did not work. We were told, “it actually hasn’t worked for a month.” Both mattresses were clearly worn out. Breakfast was okay, but, for example, the hard boiled eggs were open to be touched and contaminated by anyone who pulled the drawer out. Desk staff were not professionally dresses. This reflects badly on the whole place.

Every time the refrigerator came on during the night it made a squealing sound like it had a bad bearing inside. There is about a 1/2 inch depression in the tub like an extremely heavy person stepped in and bent the tub. It has been there awhile because there is a stain around the bottom of the tub from the standing water that never drains.

Checked into room, no working heater. Staff was nice and promptly moved me to another room. New room had no towels. I went to sleep. Only to wake and find my sheets and blankets and comforter were stained with blood spots. Disgusting. Not mine by the way. My key never worked. I had to go to front desk and reset my key at least once a day during entire stay. I will not be coming back here!

Convenient place to stay on our trip. We had to move a chair out into the hallway in order to fold out the couch bed because there was no way to make room for the bed / chair anywhere, but otherwise it was comfortable.

Very nice. It’s like staying in a small, furnished apartment, including a microwave and mini-fridge. Even has a sitting area that comfortably holds four. Plenty of outlets with USB to charge things. A train goes by 1 or 2 times a night, no horn, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. It’s quiet otherwise. Despite the train, I got good rest thanks to the very comfortable bed. Fell asleep easily.

My family of four booked a suite with two double beds for a road trip stopover. The property is very clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly. Our room was nicely furnished, if a bit cramped - with the extra sitting area that made our room a suite, the beds end up pushed pretty close together and close to the window. Good breakfast with hot options and the obligatory (and always appreciated) waffle maker. Convenient location near the I-80, but on a somewhat forlorn-looking road not near to other hospitality businesses. Paid $243 in all for a summer Friday, which was in line with other local properties but does seem high (can proximity to Reno really be a thing?).

The best staff. The staff takes really good care of this place. I stay there every year and the staff feel like family. The hotel is the best one in Fernley. Very clean, the parking lot is picked up. Great breakfast.

Escalated my concern re staff member (the night clerk) with a friend (boyfriend?) hanging out in front of the hotel (near the front doors) while he was smoking marijuana. While I get it - it's legal to smoke - that doesn't mean it's professional to smoke out front while potential guests arrived. My daughter told me she was going to hold her breath as she walked in. It was gross and annoying. Now the good. The room was actually really clean and the bed was great. So, I am struggling with this review because my ONLY concern was the staff issue - the hotel is good, clean and I had NO problems with the room.

Hotel was clean and newly renovated. Staff on site were helpful and accommodating. When booking this room we accidentally booked the room for the following weekend after our intended stay although we did not discover this until after our original stay. Although the accidental room reservation was non-refundable, we tried contacting the hotel to discuss the situation via text, chat, and phone but never received a reply via any of these methods. Again, it's our fault that we accidentally booked a non-refundable room, but the fact that the hotel would even reply or respond to our inquiries, even if to say "we're sorry, no refund", is unprofessional.

Had to re-card the door locks twice in two days. Housekeeping never serviced the room. After the second day I went to the front desk to inquire why. The Desk Clerk said it was because of COVID and that I needed to request maid service 24 hours in advance. I asked why wasn\'t I advised of that when I checked in. She said the notice is posted on the Counter and pointed to an empty spot, didn\'t say a word, walked over, reached under the counter, pulled out a 8-1/2" x 11" sign, set it back up on the counter and said there. Between the COVID Excuse and no apology for not having the Sign Posted at Check-In I just shook my head and let her return to her kids in the back room.

I really like this hotel. The room had a few glitches but a friendly and nice place. However , The toilet plugged and although we reported it, no maintenance came to the rescue! We also had trouble with the keying, having to go to the desk four times to get a workable card. I am not going to let these incidents color my view and I will stay here again.

We took a nine day road trip and this was by far the best place. Professional and kind staff, superbly clean and comfortable room, and an outstanding free breakfast with bag lunches to go. I higlly enjoyed our stay

This is a very nice hotel. My room was clean, neat and modern. The staff were excellent. The ambience for the area surrounding the hotel property is desolate looking and feeling, but some would probably like that.

This is a good hotel but it's out in the middle of nowhere. There are only a handful of dining and entertainment options nearby. If you're looking for a good night's sleep and nothing else, I recommend it. If you're looking for other off-property amenities, not so much.
