Very attractive property. We would have loved to use the pool and fire pit area but we ran out of time and it was raining. The couches at the fire pit were not in good condition though. Would not have wanted to sit there. The room and hotel were very clean but our room had a tub that didnt drain well so we had to stand in water to shower and the closet light didnt work well and was like a strobe light. Didnt stay long enough to worry w having someone come fix it. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room which was nice for leftovers. Breakfast was super nice and delicious. Lots of options. Checkin and out was easy. Would return.

The place was clean and pretty. Some of the staff were really nice while others were pretty rude. The 24/7 gym was lacking drastically compared to the pictures. The water is very heavy in sulfur which I understand is normal for the area but leaves a slimy feel to your hair and skin. The bar and the breakfast both close about 15 minutes before their set time, so be sure to be early.

The hotel was super busy for our stay, but they did a great job keeping up with it. They were apologetic about getting towels out slowly, but we got everything we needed. The pool was nice, breakfast was great. The layout of the room was awkward, but we made it work. The room has a newer thermostat and it wouldn't get cold in the room even though the AC ran constantly. The lights were all very bright. It woke everyone up when someone had to use the restroom.

Wonderful stay. Pool was great for our kids, and the bar was relaxing for us that night. The only thing I would suggest, is to have the live sports games at the bar!

The entire hotel was very clean and even smelled nice. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of seating in the lobby. Everything was great and I’d definitely stay here again.

Pros: bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was quiet, even though we were on the first floor. Air conditioner worked well and didn’t make any weird noises. Cons: bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped. Bathroom sink had a large spiderweb crack in it. Shower caulk was mildewed and there was a crack in the shower wall with a very noticeable repair. The sliding doors to the bathrooms have frosted glass inserts, so if you turn on the bathroom light, it will wake your partner up. The toilet tank decided to stop filling the morning we were checking out, so we couldn’t flush the toilet.

I enjoyed my stay at Spring Hill Suites by Marriott. It has great service and a great location. The layout of the room was nice and roomy. My only complaint was the visible mold around the bathtub.

The room was not as clean as one would hope for over $200 a night. The couch (we had to use) was discusting. It had stains all over it. The blankets and sheets we got had stains as well. These kind of things can make a whole room seem so dirty and disgusting.

Super clean! I appreciated the detail of cleanliness. The room was of adequate size. I really liked the set up. The toilet is in a different room with a sink. The shower room also has a sink. Convenient for more than one person. I also liked the sofa beds. It’s actually two extra beds with the bottom pullout. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and was a safe area. What I didn’t like… The king size bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep on. It’s like sleeping on the floor or a piece of plywood. I tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable and never could. My hip bones and shoulders feel bruised from trying to sleep on my side. The pillows were also a big disappointment. No support at all. The two nights we had to stay, the hubby and I didn’t get any sleep. It was miserable. After the first night, the a/c flooded the carpet, so they moved us to a different room and the bed was still uncomfortable.

Quiet and clean. Good stop over while traveling, friendly staff, worked well with a late arrival. Pretty quiet room with a good mattress and linens. Nice layout with separate toilet room and shower room. Fairly good hot breakfast with waffles that cooked fluffy and golden brown (using default timer on Texas flip waffle iron of course), bacon and scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, several cereals, yogurt, bagels w slicer available. Premade breakfast burritos you could heat in microwave and go on out. Several fruit juices and coffees. Well stocked even when we only 15 minutes or lessfrom breakfast being over on a Mon morning (which seems to be rare something new 30 min plus before service is officially over at some locations). Area was a group of hotels, all looked fairly new and in good repair. Appeared safe and appealing to park, did not notice any loitering (after midnight when we arrived, or after 10 when we left)

Only stayed one night. Only one hand towel provided. Design of room not functional. Room was extremely narrow. Bathroom in2 locations, one w commode & tiny sink & one with sink & shower w closet in between. So didn’t even have hand towel for each sink. No towel racks at all. When you open closet door bathroom access is blocked. Dysfunctional desk area. Pluses were that Beds were very comfortable & there were sufficient electrical outlets.

West side of town, quiet and near plenty of chain restaurants. Room was just as pictured but starting to show its age a little bit. The layout was a bit unique - a separate "water closet" and literal bath room which is nice for letting someone else use the potty while another person is bathing. Worked well when traveling with kids. Mini fridge, microwave, coffeepot in the room, tv was plenty large and when we were in the room, it had plenty of programming for us to choose from. AC worked well which is very important for a Texas hotel. Breakfast was typical. Tea and coffee available also. As far as small maintenance issues I noticed, room 207 has a tile in the bathroom floor that needs repaired - it can pinch little feet if stepped on wrong. Caulk around the tile in the tub, a small corner of wallpaper peeling up in that bathroom and the carpet in the bedroom is pulling up and wrinkling in the middle - I can only assume from lots of vacuuming. We wouldn\'t hesitate to stay again. Everyone was friendly and courteous and things were clean. Those are most impt to us.

It was very clean and maintained. I love how they attached a surg protector under the nightstand so there's more outlets. Though, the air conditioner was so loud. It sounded like a little man was in there working all night.

I will no longer be using Marriott, these last two years with this company have been awful. I officially transferred to Hilton properties for my hotel stays. As well, this is my second time staying at this location in San Angelo. In both times, the front staff are not friendly. It really made feeling uncomfortable from the start. I hope it wasn't because I was a woman, and not a man. The second staff member that I did not have a friendly experience was the next morning at 5 am. I was coming from the gym (at a different location). My father was asking the individual upfront about breakfast. He was very rude and condescending. It was a simple question about the breakfast. I will no longer be staying at any Marriott. They have really lost their hospitality standards. I travel a lot to many cities and small towns. They have really downgraded. The only staff members who were really nice and had great hospitality standards were the cleaning crew and the breakfast crew (cleaning and cooks).

We had a reservation for a room with 2 Queen beds and a pull out couch. We we’re arriving late so we called on our way to tell them we’d need a late check in. The reception told me my reservation want guaranteed and they changed us to a room with a king sized bed. I said… we’ll that’s not okay. We have too many people and where will they sleep. The night attendant was the rudest I have ever come across. It was absolutely embarrassing and insulting the way he treated me. For a Marriott I never expected, I paid for a last minute pass through stay. When I arrived there was no record of payment from Hotels.com so he told me to call them that if I didn’t like it I could Stay somewhere else and he would cancel my reservation ! I was so taken back I was speechless. Regardless if the payment was there and if there was an error on either side. At this point it’s not an issue of blame, it’s how I was treated, I paid . I tried to show him he wasn’t interested. The lack of effort to just try to help, was not there: mind you I had 3 kids in the car and it was almost midnight. I went to 3 other hotels and found a room. They knew of this person and said he was insupportable.

Staying in a suite that sleeps 6. We go to take our showers and there’s only 2 bath towels. Ok, let’s call the desk and ask them to bring 5 more. Over an hour goes by and no towels. Sitting around waiting to get our day started. I call the desk back and ask again for some towels. I’m told they have been busy and the towels are still drying. First off, why would they only put 2 towels in the room and second, it would have been nice to get a update that there’s gonna be a delay. Someone finally delivers 2 more towels when I asked for 5. She was preterbed when I told her I still needed 2 more. If your gonna have a room that sleeps 6 then you should have the room prepared for 6 guests.

Had a wonderful experience. Breakfast is amazing. Beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. The two young men at the desk were in the best of moods and very attentive to everyone's needs. We will definitely stay here again.

After the first night, the a/c flooded the carpet, so they moved us to a different room and the bed was still uncomfortable.

Quiet and clean. Good stop over while traveling, friendly staff, worked well with a late arrival. Pretty quiet room with a good mattress and linens. Nice layout with separate toilet room and shower room. Fairly good hot breakfast with waffles that cooked fluffy and golden brown (using default timer on Texas flip waffle iron of course), bacon and scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, several cereals, yogurt, bagels w slicer available. Premade breakfast burritos you could heat in microwave and go on out. Several fruit juices and coffees. Well stocked even when we only 15 minutes or lessfrom breakfast being over on a Mon morning (which seems to be rare something new 30 min plus before service is officially over at some locations). Area was a group of hotels, all looked fairly new and in good repair. Appeared safe and appealing to park, did not notice any loitering (after midnight when we arrived, or after 10 when we left)

The layout was a bit unique - a separate "water closet" and literal bath room which is nice for letting someone else use the potty while another person is bathing. Worked well when traveling with kids. Mini fridge, microwave, coffeepot in the room, tv was plenty large and when we were in the room, it had plenty of programming for us to choose from. AC worked well which is very important for a Texas hotel. Breakfast was typical. Tea and coffee available also. As far as small maintenance issues I noticed, room 207 has a tile in the bathroom floor that needs repaired - it can pinch little feet if stepped on wrong. Caulk around the tile in the tub, a small corner of wallpaper peeling up in that bathroom and the carpet in the bedroom is pulling up and wrinkling in the middle - I can only assume from lots of vacuuming. We wouldn\'t hesitate to stay again. Everyone was friendly and courteous and things were clean. Those are most impt to us.

Very attractive property. We would have loved to use the pool and fire pit area but we ran out of time and it was raining. The couches at the fire pit were not in good condition though. Would not have wanted to sit there. The room and hotel were very clean but our room had a tub that didnt drain well so we had to stand in water to shower and the closet light didnt work well and was like a strobe light. Didnt stay long enough to worry w having someone come fix it. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room which was nice for leftovers. Breakfast was super nice and delicious. Lots of options. Checkin and out was easy. Would return.

The water is very heavy in sulfur which I understand is normal for the area but leaves a slimy feel to your hair and skin. The bar and the breakfast both close about 15 minutes before their set time, so be sure to be early.

The hotel was super busy for our stay, but they did a great job keeping up with it. They were apologetic about getting towels out slowly, but we got everything we needed. The pool was nice, breakfast was great. The layout of the room was awkward, but we made it work. The room has a newer thermostat and it wouldn't get cold in the room even though the AC ran constantly. The lights were all very bright. It woke everyone up when someone had to use the restroom.

The breakfast was really good and Pam, the breakfast lady was very personable. We were however very upset by the pool being closed. We deliberately chose this hotel for the pool. We were not informed ahead of our stay that the pool was broken and as we had booked a non-refundable stay we couldn’t go anywhere else. There is a courtyard by Marriott next door and we asked if we could use their pool as this hotel is also a Marriott but we were told no. It definitely put a damper on our stay as we had driven 3 hours to San Angelo to meet up with family and had spent money on pool toys etc. for them to use in the pool. They had also been out to buy new swim clothes as theirs were too small so a lot of time and money was invested by us and them into using the pool for the weekend.
