This property is located very close to the airport. Our shuttle ride to the departure terminal was about two minutes. Also, the three members of the staff with whom we interacted were informative and pleasant. Our plane was leaving at 6:35 am, so we had to leave the hotel before a driver and breakfast were officially available, but a bag with a bagel, butter, jelly, cream cheese, granola bar, apple, and a bottle of water were ready for us. The front desk person drove us to the airport. All in all, a thumbs up experience.

Breakfast was free everyday which was a plus for my family. No restaurants inside the hotel thou for dinner. The only thing i didn't like was finding a moldy apple under the bed, it was so moldy that it didn't even look like an apple anymore. To me that means the staff does not clean under beds

We checked in and then went to the room. The room obviously had not been cleaned. The bed was not made, and the bathroom was not cleaned. We waited another thirty minutes for them to clean the room. Once we were in the room, some kids kept banging on our door and running down the hallway repeatedly!

The hotel was conveniently located adjacent to the airport. However, it was quite loud, with having little to no sound barriers between guest room walls. I could hear everything the neighbors were saying and doing, as if they were in my own room. Staff were pleasant, polite, and were empathetic to my unrelated rental car issues. The continental breakfast was wonderful; plenty of options and well stocked.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a few days on our vacation. We also stayed at Orange beach Hampton Inn. This location (Sarasota) was very nice. The staff was great and accommodating. I mistakenly planned our trip wrong but they were great in getting us additional days. The exterior, lobby, and room were very clean. The room was a king room with a lot of space! This was next to the airport but you couldn’t hear the air traffic. The only things we didn’t like—the shower had low water pressure…and the hot water took about 10-15 mins to get hot. We initially thought the hot water didn’t work. And the bathroom exhaust fan had no switch to turn on. Other than that I can’t think of anything negative. I highly recommend this location. I hope they add more parking because the lot is FULL on the weekend

We arrived around 6 pm. Check-in was supposed to start at 3 pm. We were told our room was not ready. The person at the desk said they would text housekeeping to see if a room was ready. We waited 45 minutes and nothing happened. She sat there like she didn't care. We asked and all she said was that she texted. My husband walked the halls until he found housekeeping and asked them. The rooms were ready. No big deal. Meanwhile, there were no towels at the pool. Guests said they had been there four days and never had towels at the pool or extra towels in their rooms. It was like they didn't do laundry. At the back door by the pool smelled strongly of natural gas. There were also strong smells of marijuana in and around the hotel. Very upsetting experience.

Staff were EXTREMELY rude except one person. Heat, TV and fan were not working in the room . A snarky comment by the front desk when I inquired about the discount at check out, that was offered by the staff member, who had come and checked the appliances earlier in my 3 day stay. I was told by the front desk "this is not a let's make a deal situation". Manager was even less helpful as he kept making excuses. He said there was no way to give me any credit, since I booked with Expedia.

Front desk clerk, Yasmine, was wonderful. Very patient with a couple of angry early arrivers, among a lot of early arrivers. She kept composure, gave us recommendation for lunch, and by the time we came back our room was not only ready, but it was an upgrade to a King Studio. She's the kind of employee who adds a lot of value to your property!

This is a beautiful property. However, the fire alarm went off every morning at 7:30am disrupting our sleep. Many of the other guest complained as well. It was unfortunate because when you go on vacation you want to relax and catch up on sleep vs waking up early like a typical work day. Also, the breakfast food was cold each day so we ended up spending money eating out despite looking forward to complementary breakfast. Overall, a nice hotel with friendly staff.

Shuttle service never arrived to the airport, they gave us a dirty room (with other people’s toothbrush and unmade beds) and the front desk woman was extremely rude. I would never stay at this hotel again. The manager Autumn was not helpful. I have stayed in other Hampton Inn Hotels around the world and they are usually great, but this particular Hotel made me never want to come back. Terrible experience.
