Amazing property with cozy colorful cottages and a beautiful beachfront. The staff is friendly and the location is very convenient. Having the beach, paddle boards, and kayaks as well as beach chairs, shaded tiki huts, and hammocks means there’s something for everyone on vacation. We saw sea stars, pretty fish, and even a dolphin from the dock! Loved watching nightly sunsets while swimming in the clear, warm bay. Live music from the restaurant next door created a fun atmosphere too. The room was great and had very comfy beds and a lovely mural. This place is a treasure!

Parking is tight but the property more than makes up for it. Adorable little cottages, amazing waterfront view. Lots of amenities-kayaks, paddle boards, floats, picnic table and chairs, bbq grills. Can’t wait to come again!

We all enjoyed our stay, our rooms were close to the water and the staff were all very friendly. Rooms were very clean with full accommodations. We will definitely go back for another visit. We were in walking distances to bars and restaurants.

Staff was friendly, check in was a breeze. The cottage 2 was clean, updated, and stocked with a blender, dishes, paper towels, soap and a sponge. The shower and bathroom were great and everything was perfectly cleaned. Second furthest cottage from the beach and it took probably 1 minute to walk down to the water. The cabanas and seating was plentiful and again, up-kept very well. Only “3 star” rating was for eco-friendly because there was few trash/recycling bins on the beach or in the property, but if others were mindful that shouldn’t be an issue. We brought our dog, and had no issues with this, they even gave a nice “dog blanket” to cover the whole bed so there was not any contact with it for future guests. They also offered a dog bed and poop bags which was nice. Free coffee & pastries were set out every morning and there were lots of cute shady areas to sit around even aside from the beach. We ate out for lunch and dinner each night and easily could have walked to most of the places-great location, helpful and friendly staff, very clean. 10/10!

Convenient, quiet, and quaint. Great private beach area, and family friendly. Easy check-in, great staff. The only downside was that there was an ant infestation around the bathroom sink. Nothing that we couldn’t deal with, so we didn’t bother the staff with it.

Our unit was spotlessly clean and we found multiple dining options within close walking distance, as well as a drugstore and other conveniences. We loved our time at Sunset Cove! The cottage #5 was exactly as advertised. The room was super clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The private beach and the dock for fishing was really nice and was just what we were looking for to just chill for a while. Having the kayak and paddle boards able to be taken out for free was a huge benefit! My family had a great time on them . The location was perfect. Many restaurant around there. CVS in front of the street. The sunsets at the beach were awesome! I definitely recommend the place.

If you are looking for luxury, this probably isn't for you. Our cottage was small and outdated but perfect for our trip with kids. We loved the beach area, they have kayaks and paddleboards you can use and we had a great time here. I liked the idea of little cottages and they had a full kitchen. We would definitely stay again.

This place was really cool and kitschy. The waterfront was great. The only reason i cant give it 5 stars is the bed in our room was the worst i have ever slept on. It was hard, lumpy, and leaned to one side. Every time one of us rolled over it bounced the other awake. I would stay here again if they promised me they lit cottage 8's mattress on fire and threw it in a dumpster.

Met a group of friends for a weekend getaway. Stayed in Cottage 1. Couldnt sleep all night for the two days stay. The Cottage is situated right near the road. The traffic noise of cars and sem-trucks was unbearable. Free breakfast was a joke. Tang-style orange beverage drink and vending machine pastries.

Staff was very friendly. Resort is small and quiet, which is perfect. Plenty of chairs outside and covered areas. The only issue we had was the beds are terrible and need replaced. They sink in the middle and it’s impossible for two people to sleep in. Also, the bed was pushed up in the corner so we had to climb in and out of the foot of the bed. Cabins are super small. No room for gathering so thank goodness the weather was nice and we didn’t have to spend any time inside other than sleeping. The resort is costly compared to bigger bedside resorts at the time of our stay

Do yourself a favor and don’t book this place. First of all, it’s right on the side of the road — not peaceful at all. The property is in terrible condition: unpainted walls, a broken chair with a missing leg, and a rusted microwave that’s a real safety hazard. Everything feels like it’s falling apart. I asked if we could check out and still stay on the beach for a little while with our kids, and they initially said yes — but when I returned the keys, they told us we had to leave. Then the owner came out yelling at us, literally shouting and making us feel unsafe. We had to rush out of there with our children while being accused of breaking a chair that was already clearly damaged. The place is run-down and unsettling.

First of all, I arrived at the hotel exhausted around 8:15pm. I walked into the office and stood there for probably 4-5 min without even being acknowledged because the front desk clerk was on the phone (with a customer, but a simple head nod or an “I’ll be with you shortly” would have sufficed.) I booked and paid for this property in advance of this trip, but during the check in process I was told I’d need to pay again as they don’t accept payments from third party vendors. Even after I showed my receipt and credit card statement showing I had paid, they still wouldn’t accept it. I was furious and left, I’d rather drive to anywhere else or sleep in my car than stay there. Awful service.

The property and beach were visually incredible. We also enjoyed the proximity to the nearby restaurants. Our room at first glance was fine, our issues began when my husband went to take a shower. The knob for cold water was broken and so the water was scalding hot. We called the office and unfortunately they do not have 24 hour maintenance. They sent a security guard who told is it was not that hot. He reluctantly gave us a key to a nearby public restroom with a shower. We have a 2 year old and showering him in scalding water was not an option so we made our way to the public restroom to wash him. The bathroom was not clean nor did it have the convenience or amenities that we would have had using the shower in the room. Overall the bathroom experience felt like I was camping. Having to pack bag and toiletries and venturing outside to shower in a dirty facility. We were told we could talk to someone in the morning but no one was available to talk to at the office 30 min after opening. There were also ants in our room. I found atleast 3 crawling on and around our beds. Overall the experience was incredibly stressful, but I also think it was very unique situation.

This property is great. The proximity to a major highway was my only complaint. The road noise was a distraction all day and night. There really is not anything to do nearby unless you are looking to drive 45 minutes north or south.

My husband & I spent a few days in “Paradise” & absolutely loved our little beach cottage. It was very clean & comfortable. Parking just outside the door & we were steps from the beach. The restaurant next door is fabulous. The grounds are immaculately manicured & landscape decor is retro & eclectic. Also adorable. Great central location. If you are tall, it might not be the best option, bc some of the ceilings are low. I’m 5’9” & hit my head once…:\ Also, the “breakfast” is coffee, orange drink & honeybuns. However, there is a Publix grocery store nearby & lots of great restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful resort, quiet, amazing sunsets. Nice small lagoon on the hotel's beach. Nice staff, very convenient parking. They should improve the breakfast, it's not really a breakfast, it is just coffee (no milk just half-and-half on those small to-go packages), orange-flavored syrup juice, and extremely sweet pre-packed cinnamon rolls.

Very nice place with small private beach. Lovely bungalows but I wouldn't choose Diver's Den 2 - we chose it because of the cost but it was too close to the road so it was a bit noisy in the morning (at night it was ok). Also, we could hear our neighbors from across the wall and there was smell in the bathroom. The personnel was very nice, and when we complained they moved us to a lovely bungalow with a kitchen for a moderate extra cost. Breakfast wasn't good - just coffee and prepackaged pastries.

Loved this little property. All of the staff were so friendly and made the trip a great one. It’s got a fun little Keys vibe and loved the free paddle boards. Tiki bar next door is fun and has music from 6-9. Beautiful sunsets. Fun little getaway.

Great property! Office was very kind and helpful. Very convenient walk to several high rated restaurants. The only negative is a very small bathroom (but plenty of living space) and the breakfast provided is in plastic wrappers. Not bad, just not exactly a breakfast as advertised. Would stay here again!

Quirky, fun property with random animal sculptures (dinosaurs!) and a tiny private beach. "Campy" to the max! Room was tiny, but clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast wasn't great (Little Debbie type pastries, coffee, tea and juice), but overall a good base for exploring Key Largo.

The property reflected a true Key West vibe. Safe and right by the beach. We loved the morning of sitting out on the dock and watching the fishermen and the sailboats. It was very relaxing! Great job. Love the coffee and breakfast snacks served outdoors. 🔆
