It was a good place to stay for the price and the kitchen built in the room. The bathroom needed to upgraded. Broken mirror on the sink. Shower curtain bar was loose shower curtain needed to be replaced. The front door didn't operate correctly. No window screens to open the window and no sheer curtain to let the sunlight in without having your whole room exposed to people looking in on you. The rooms look old and gloomy. The rooms could use a nice coat of paint without the ugly brown linoleum wood floors. Also, the third party app I used to book the room needs to do a better job at confirming the rooms booked with the motel to avoid the overbooking issue I had when I arrived to check in. It wasn't the motels fault but it was the app, hotels.com that dropped the ball. Had I not got there at the location at the time I did, I would have been stranded and left to try and find somewhere else to stay. The room I booked was reserved months in advance and I saw that the motel had decline people arriving later because of hotel.com lack of confirmation with the motel. The staff person there did the best they could to accommodate everyone.

Used to stay at that location all the time I probably will never ever stay there again, but I will say that management and staff were very kind and helped the best they possibly could. That’s the only thing that place has going for itself.

This motel is close to Arden Fair, a good sized shopping mall, and also not too far from SMF airport. Only caveat with the room I had, one of the windows must have broken and was plastered over with what looked like a piece of drywall -- unless they were fully booked, I would have wanted a room without such a defect.
