Check in staff not very welcoming. Room was clean, hotel also. Breakfast area was comfortable and had a few typical breakfast items. Kids loved the pancakes. Saturday night, lots of young adults in the pool who were rowdy, drink, and got out much later than posted hours. My kids couldn't safely get in the pool that night

I used to stay here quite a bit and always had a good stay, until this recent time, where my fiancé decided to come along and bring our service dog. I checked on the Expedia page for this hotel and it expressly stated "No pets allowed however service animals are permitted" so I booked our stay. Upon arrival, we were turned away because of our service dog. I mentioned to ownership that it says that a service animal is allowed yet they continued to turn us away, didn't even ask us for Service animal paperwork, which we had. By California Law, a service animal must be accommodated by the Hotel. We didn't raise a stink about their denial as we it was a decision made by ownership and not the front desk worker, but found that it is worth stating to minimize this experience happening with anyone else.

I have made reservations for my husband at this hotel for several years now and he loves it. He goes to the drag races once or twice a year at Famosa Raceway, and this hotel is convenient to that location. He's a big breakfast guy, and loves that the room comes with a full breakfast included. I always reserve at least 6 months in advance to make sure he gets a room.

This hotel is probably the nicest in the remote area of a small rural town, so its definitely my first choice. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff, super friendly and helpful. Room was nice - clean and quiet. My only problem was that my car was damaged overnight from what looks like a dog attack on the plastic over my wheel wells. There was a stray cat under my car, but the damage seemed like large bites, so we are assuming that a dog tried to get at the cat and my car took the brunt of it. At least the cat made it out safely! Freak accident, certainly not the fault of the hotel, and the clerk was very cooperative in looking at my car and informing the manager to possibly check security footage.
