The renovated rooms are really nice. The bed frame is metal and hollow. When you hit it, it sounds like a gong.

The hotel was being remodeled, many things still needs to be addressed. The updates to the hotel and room are nice but there were some issues. We had Ants in the room that got into the dog food. Found it very hard to get to sleep because the heater is noisy and turns on and off all night. Could not find a way to keep it running continuous. The bed had a metal base that you would hit every time you got near the bed and it echoed throughout the room.. annoying. Side entrance door to parking lot (near room 138 ) slammed loud every time someone went out or in. Microwave door locked with food in it. We had to unplug it to get your item out of it. On the brighter side there were deer in the parking lot and field.

It was clear this hotel was picked up by another low end hotel and they are trying their best to make it better. My room was not turned over with our 2 night stay, there was a large hair on my "new" towel, the breakfast area was dirty, my key stopped working after a day, the shower floor was like an ice rink (I had to tell my mother not to go in there for fear of falling), the parking is cracked with weeds, and the pool was listed but is under renovation. The staff was pleasant enough.

Clean. Older hotel that looks like they have recently done a refresh. Rooms were clean and staff helpful but the grounds need some work. But overall for a quick night stay it was okay
