At Comfort Suites Forrest City, travelers frequently praise the friendly, accommodating staff, clean and comfortable rooms, pet-friendly setup, and convenient I-40 location, while noting mostly good hot breakfasts with a popular coffee machine.

Common downsides include recurring elevator outages and occasional pool or hot tub closures. Several reviews mention worn furnishings and maintenance issues, plus inconsistent housekeeping with a few reports of pests. When I arrived, there was a sign apologizing that the elevator was out of order. I was traveling with my disabled mother so I wanted to make sure there were no steps for her to climb. We were assigned to room 107. There was noises nonstop coming from the ceiling and walls. I called the front desk and was advised that this room usually is not assigned due to the noise level because the room is underneath the boiler room. However, the agent that checked me in was new and is not aware. She said that I should speak with the manager the next morning for compensation. They offered to give me a room on the second or third floor but I explained that my disabled mother cannot climb stairs and the elevator is out of service. We didn’t get any sleep. I spoke with a woman at the front desk the next morning and she said they can’t compensate me. The entire experience was a nightmare. If I was told about the room in advance, I would not have checked in and would have went to another hotel.

I came to stay at Comfort Inn for my dad’s funeral only to know after I booked the elevator did not work. We had a lot of luggage and small kids which made it more inconvenient. Had this been disclosed we could have made other arrangements.

Very nice property with easy access to I-40. Pet friendly, with large grassy areas and pet waste stations. All guests with pets are housed on the ground floor, which really helps! Very nice room and bathroom. Duvet is always too hot for me, but linens and bed were otherwise comfortable. Nice breakfast options.

Everything was fine up until I was getting ready for bed and a rat ran from up under the sofa and under the table. I immediately called the front desk and was moved to another room but I wasn’t able to sleep at all, ans I worried there were more ans it was the same floor, and had a very important meeting the next day. I wasn’t too happy to not be rested for my meeting.

The property was clean however we found a dead lady bug in our bed. A rodent ran into the room next door to ours. The evening front desk clerk called the police on our family because of her lack of customer service on what we thought was a broken bed. And she informed us that her manager initially wanted us to leave the property. It was a very embarrassing and unacceptable experience.

I was very disappointed with my stay at comfort inn suites! The refrigerator didn’t work . It took 2 days to receive a new one! The iron wasn’t working, they did bring another one right away. The elevator wasn’t functioning properly two times when I went to use it. The breakfast was ok. The staff was nice at the front desk. The room service was nice . No issues. I asked to be compensated for the refrigerator issue but they said it was a third party booking and they couldn’t issue any credits or anything.
