The staff was great, especially James. He’ll have you laughing, or turning red depending on your sense of humor, in no time. The room was great. It had everything I could need and it was all in great condition. The tv remote didn’t work so well, even after a fresh set of batteries, but that was the only minor inconvenience I experienced. I gave property condition 4 instead of 5 stars only because of the roof leak in the foyer when it rained.

We stayed for 10 days. Friendly, responsive staff, decent breakfasts, pretty patio garden area, clean pool & hot tub. A few things could be improved: Laundry was complementary, but the dryers were inefficient. The suites are roomy, but the big couch/daybed in our room was not comfortable for relaxation or sitting to eat at the too-small dining table. And lastly, chasing down Housekeeping for toilet paper & towels is not fun.

Location and accommodations were perfect. One note - they do not have a maintenance person at night. Our TV quit working and we were told that there was no one there for maintenance at night, so they could not do anything. Not a big deal (TV) but not fun to think about if there was a toilet or other water or electrical issue at night. There was a lot of noise both nights we stayed. First night - car alarm continued to go off all night. Second night - loud music from parking lot. I called front desk and it stopped, however, it started again later that night. Not sure who was staying there that would think it was OK.

The staff here was hands down some of the best hospitality staff I have ever experienced Everything was so clean, well laid out and amazing to be next door to a wedding reception venue. Anything we needed there wasn’t a hesitation of assistance. Would recommend this hotel without a doubt. Our two bed room suite was absolutely perfect. Great space, comfortable beds and has all the extras you need. Very handicap accessible and the outdoor space was an extra excellent bonus. This location checks all the boxes plus some…..deserves more than 5 stars

It’s my third stay at this property because of the accommodations and the service. Comfortable beds, crisp and clean linens, spotless bathrooms with plenty of towels. Fully equipped kitchenette with full sized refrigerator, stovetops, microwave and coffee makers. Breakfast always includes a hot entry and fresh fruit and waffle maker. Highly recommend.

This hotel needs to get it together, we stayed 3 nights. We found a live cockroach in our first room and then were moved to a bedroom on the third floor. The bedroom upstairs didn’t have any roach that we saw but the shower would drain slowly and it took a few minutes for the tub to be empty after showering. We had to go down to the front desk around 10 times because our room keys would stop working. The key’s always seemed to stop working after going up 3 flights of stairs with arms full of items while having 2 dogs with us. According to the front desk, it was happening to everyone and they don’t know why. The building overall looked like it was newly redone, but it seemed like they just put a new coat of paint over the older doors as they were already chipping. Would definitely not stay here again.

We stayed for a wedding at the Valerie next door—the location couldn’t be better. The woman who helped check us in in a hurry, Erica, was lovely and very helpful. The woman who wished us well on our way out in the morning was also very kind. After the wedding we stopped in the lobby with two friends. After about 5 minutes of talking, the woman working overnight came over and scolded us like schoolchildren: “it is 2.5 hours past the beginning of quiet hours and if I can hear you all the way over there (the desk), then they (dont know who she was pointing at) can definitely hear you. Be quiet now!”. We were given no warning that there were hours that we could not convene and talk in the hotel lobby. We weren’t yelling or drinking/eating and were four adults. While I appreciate the importance of reasonable noise for hotel guests who are trying to sleep, she was extremely rude. Our room—3028– smelled terribly of mildew. We could not see any visual issues but the smell was overwhelming; I ended up moving to a friend’s room and sleeping on her couch at 1am because it was so bad. Wasn’t expecting the woman who had just scolded us downstairs was going to be particularly interested in helping. Stay here if you’re going to a wedding at the Valerie but check out your room when you check in to be sure all is good, and be sure not to speak in the lobby after 10pm!

After getting in to our room, we found baby cockroaches in our bathroom. We refused to stay in the hotel. If cockroaches are found in one room, they are in other rooms. When we told front desk about our room and that we would not stay there, she said she could only give us a different room. She could not cancel the reservation because it was the day of the reservation. No kidding, can't find out about cockroaches in our room until the day of. Will not stay at this property again.

We had a thoroughly disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite being promised a room at the back of the hotel on the main floor, we were instead placed right next to the elevator and directly in front of the breakfast area. The noise was absolutely unbearable. We didn’t get a single minute of proper sleep due to the constant noise from the elevator running all night and the racket from guests gathering for breakfast right outside our door. If you’re looking for a restful stay, avoid this place unless they can guarantee you a quiet room. We certainly won’t be returning.

The front desk lady was very distracted when we got here at 10:30pm. Took her a while to come out of the office. Then she was hurrying to get rid of us. She said nothing about breakfast hours or checkout. There were only 2 rooms set to go. We had three reservations. She had to set up keys and paper work for the third. She wasn’t cranky about it. But she wasn’t happy either (understandable) Room was clean and spacious. Hate the barn door for the bathroom. Lacks privacy
