We got here and checked in and at check in we were told the elevator wasnt working and the only room was on the 3rd floor, no discounts, no refunds. So we had to trudge our luggage up three flights of stairs. The room was almost 200 per night. I was furious. The room was clean, at least, we missed breakfast, the clerk was friendly enough.

The location was right off the highway but it didn't look like I had to worry about my car in the parking lot or my personal safety. As a woman traveling solo those are things to think about. Also, even though there were many cars in the parking lot the hotel was very quiet. No slamming doors or people being loud. A very nice place to get some sleep after a long day of driving.

Very nice hotel. Elevator issue had us walking up the stairs to the third floor. A little exercise for us. One trip up and one trip down. Glad we did not have a second trip than it would of been a workout. The best part was the ice machines working well for a cold beverage. This is not a negative but a minor operational issue. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

The Best Western in Iowa Louisiana is very clean, well staffed and friendly , great parking area, close to some truck stops with fast food restaurants. The breakfast area was so nice, staff fixed your plate👍, counter tops all in order, and the continental breakfast is definitely a 5 star. My room was spotless 👍. Definitely will stay again when in that area. #teambestwesterniowala

We got in very late after driving several hours only to be given a room that was not cleaned. How disgusting it was left was disturbing. The front desk worker was embarrassed. Got another room which had a musty smell. At 4 am we were awoken with a phone call. No idea why but assuming maybe a wake up call that we didn’t request. We’re not picky people but this experience was horrible. Other than it being convenient off of 10 and fairly modern, not something I would recommend.

The breakfast was not completely self serve. The eggs, sausage, ham, waffles, milk and other items were served behind a counter. Biscuit was hard and dried out. If i was serving myself, would have chosen another, but was awkward. Did not feel free to ask for seconds which are available at mist hotels. Pais total of $167 after tax tor single room. Will not use best western again.
