The staff is very helpful, polite & reassuring. The room is decent considering the walls need cleaning/painting, shower curtain filthy & no microwave/fridge but compared to King's Inn I'd give Motel 6 a ten.

The dish the desk clerk was very nice upon arrival upon approaching the room we heard a loud noise. It was the air-conditioning. The room was not pre-cooling with the air on. I understand that, but the error was not working. We did not know how to turn the unit on when we turned it on the air didn’t work. They put us in another room before we left the room. There was no microwave or refrigerator when we got to the next room no microwave no refrigerator but we did have a chair this time other room didn’t have a chair. The television went out we requested help twice. My husband had to eventually put his technological skills to work and got the TV on for us. That was day two at bedtime the night clerk zero helpful at all every problem that occurred. He repeatedly said we had to tell them in the morning. He did not relate any of the issues to the morning people which led to the reason for us not having a television for the whole weekend. The tiles were very dingy and frayed, and you could see through one of the large dry tiles. We’ve been staying at this hotel for about 15 years every time we come to Memphis it’s never been this. I don’t know if it’s new staffing or they have just not done any upgrades. Other tenants were complaining and we all talked about it as we were all checking out. Hotels.com do not need to have this hotel listed. It needs to be taken down off the website.
