Hotel Atlantis is a beautiful hotel in Thira. I chose it because it was flat to the street - no walking up lots of steps for either of us anymore! Our room was very well appointed, comfortable, and with a great shower. We had a balcony in our room that overlooked the caldera and, while others rushed to Oia to see the sun sinking into the sea, we watched the same sunset from our room. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with plenty of options for different appetites. The living areas in the hotel were lovely. It was an excellent stay!

If staying in Fira, this is the best hotel to stay in terms of location and view! It is in the center of Fira and just a 4 minute walk from the main bus station which was very convenient for us! We got a caldera room and everyday of our stay, we would sit on our balcony and watch the beautiful views throughout the day and night. This would be a perfect spot to watch the sunset (unfortunately the weather was cloudy and gloomy so we did get to see one) but I believe it is very comparable if not better then the views from Oia especially if trying to avoid the crowds. Even if you do not get a caldera view room, the outside seating area of the hotel also has an amazing view of the caldera. The hotel rooms are very well maintained considering this was the first hotel built in Thira (per our tour guide). We also thoroughly enjoyed the extensive variety of breakfast and pleased with how many vegetarian options we had. All the food was so fresh and delicious which made for a great start to the day! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

I had a wonderful two night stay at the Hotel Atlantis. The staff are professional and kind. The buffet breakfast comes with a good variety of tasty food. The dishes that are meant to be hot were indeed the right temperature. The room I stayed in was comfortable, and the view from it was absolutely gorgeous. The outside eating area has a spectacular view as well. There are a good number of restaurants within short walking distance, and the Fira bus station is a convenient stroll away.

Excellent stay with convenience to many places all in easy walking distance. Staff was wonderful and always helpful. The breakfast was also good. Great view of the caldera with great sunset views. Rooms are efficient with nice balcony overlooking the caldera. The pool area was nice with chairs and cushioned loungers.

Very unique location. Our room had a balcony with sunset view. Don't bother to go anywhere else on the island to watch sunset. Nice complimentary in room amenities. Typical of the old charming European hotels, rooms were on smaller size but bright and comfortable with unusually larger bathrooms. This hotel is a beautiful property. The common room is so restful. The colors were calming. The staff is wonderful. Very engaging and helpful. The location is amazing. Right out the door us Old Town with great shopping and great local food. The view from our room was stunning. The view from the common area is just as beautiful highly recommend.

Παρόλο που είναι παλιό και επιβάλλεται μια ανακαίνιση τουλάχιστον το μπάνιο, η τοποθεσία είναι τελεια στην καρδιά της καλντερας , η καθαριότητα είναι άριστη ,ποιότητα ύπνου εξαιρετική ,θέα υπέροχη το καλύτερα view room ,ποιοτικό και άφθονο το μπουφέ πρωινού με μοναδική θέα, τα προϊόντα που υπάρχουν στο δωματιο είναι αρκετά όπως σετ οδοντόβουρτσα ξυρίστικά σφουγγάρι μπάνιου κα Θα ξαναέρθω ανεπιφύλακτα και χωρίς να ανακαινισθεί!!!!

All Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast is tasteful and you can view the stunning Caldera & Volcano while having it. It's located at the edge of Fira city centre and only 5 mins walk to multiple cocktail bars, 4 mins walk to Fira bus station and 10 mins walk to cable car station. Room service and cleaning is superb and I would like to give a kudo to the cleaning lady. Our room is a little bit outdated and needs to be modernized though.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The view is amazing and sunsets are better spent in your room if it has a balcony with the Caldera view. Bathrooms are sooo outdated to the point they don’t look clean. Yet we had a good stay and staffs were friendly. Breakfast is also good.

Great location at top of hill. No climbing stairs up or down the caldera to get to shops and restaurants. 2 blocks from main bus terminal. Had a very spacious room.Room could use updating but the bathroom especially. Breakfast was very good with enough choices. Very much disliked shower It was a hand held shower that was attached to a pole that at best was at stomach height. But the shower head would not stay at the top of the pole and always slid down to thigh height Thus you had to hold the shower head over top of your head with one hand and try to wash your hair and body with one hand! As well, this was a tub shower and elderly people or those with mobility issues would not be able to step over the tall tub side to use the tub or try and use a shower head you had to hold. Other guests we spoke to also said their shower head pole was way too low and the shower head continually slid even lower down the pole.

Every thing was so good specially the location was amazing but we had lots of problems with WYFI. They changed our room but the problem didn’t get solved. Also our first room was big and nice with a big balcony but there was huge garbage located very very close and we couldn’t use the balcony because of that bad smell.

Amazing view!! Maybe the best view on the entire island? Do ask for a balcony room... then you can just sit and enjoy the sunset from the comfort of your room. If you take an Uber or taxi to the hotel, they will stop a little ways away, and you will have to climb the incline to the hotel. This is about a 3 or 4 minute climb, keep this in mind for your mobility/fitness. I have some mobility issues but was able to manage just fine by taking it slow. The morning buffet breakfast had huge number of options; only gripe is that the food should be kept hot. Having cold scrambled eggs is not the best way to start the day. But hey, when you sit eating on the terrace overlooking the amazing bay, these nits fade away. Room was great and comfortable...bathroom was a bit dated but perfectly fine for a 2 day stay. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Dmitry (hope i got the name right) -- always smiling and so helpful. Thank you for making our stay at Santorini so memorable!! For folks looking to do the hike to Oia, it starts right from this hotel!! We just strolled for about half hour down the bay side path and returned... even that was beautiful and extremely photogenic. The restaurant to the left of our room was noisy late into the night, but we shut the windows tight and that helped a lot. Overall, this hotel is a 2 thumbs up!!

The best location in Santorini, what a view. The staff were very helpful and always available. The hotel is a bit of an oasis at the busiest parts of the day so you can retreat from the heat and tourists and relax. The location is perfect for using the bus system on the island which is great. The hotel is right in the area of shops and some attractions.

I like the convience of the property to town but half of the employees in the front desk is not nice, they don’t greet you when they see you. Overall, it’s an experience for me and my wife, probably would not return to this hotel.

The staff went out of their way to take care of us. For example, a staff member ran down a few blocks where we were waiting for a tour pick up to tell us there was a delay. Also, a housekeeper ran down to hand me an item I had forgotten when I checked out and I was still in the lobby. They made taxi reservations for me, and recommended a really stand out restaurant close by. I felt well taken care of. Plus, everyone was very warm and ready to help any way I needed.

If staying in Fira, this is the best hotel to stay in terms of location and view! It is in the center of Fira and just a 4 minute walk from the main bus station which was very convenient for us! We got a caldera room and everyday of our stay, we would sit on our balcony and watch the beautiful views throughout the day and night. This would be a perfect spot to watch the sunset (unfortunately the weather was cloudy and gloomy so we did get to see one) but I believe it is very comparable if not better then the views from Oia especially if trying to avoid the crowds. Even if you do not get a caldera view room, the outside seating area of the hotel also has an amazing view of the caldera. The hotel rooms are very well maintained considering this was the first hotel built in Thira (per our tour guide). We also thoroughly enjoyed the extensive variety of breakfast and pleased with how many vegetarian options we had. All the food was so fresh and delicious which made for a great start to the day! Great property, right at the top of Fira Santorini so it was accessible by taxi instead of having to haul luggage throughout the town. Easy check in, very helpful front desk staff. You are only steps from a lot of great restaraunts and I would recommend Naoussa which is right next door. The breakfast was adequate and overall a great hotel.

Great location at top of hill. No climbing stairs up or down the caldera to get to shops and restaurants. 2 blocks from main bus terminal. Had a very spacious room.Room could use updating but the bathroom especially. Breakfast was very good with enough choices. Very much disliked shower It was a hand held shower that was attached to a pole that at best was at stomach height. But the shower head would not stay at the top of the pole and always slid down to thigh height Thus you had to hold the shower head over top of your head with one hand and try to wash your hair and body with one hand! As well, this was a tub shower and elderly people or those with mobility issues would not be able to step over the tall tub side to use the tub or try and use a shower head you had to hold. Other guests we spoke to also said their shower head pole was way too low and the shower head continually slid even lower down the pole.

Amazing view!! Maybe the best view on the entire island? Do ask for a balcony room... then you can just sit and enjoy the sunset from the comfort of your room. If you take an Uber or taxi to the hotel, they will stop a little ways away, and you will have to climb the incline to the hotel. This is about a 3 or 4 minute climb, keep this in mind for your mobility/fitness. I have some mobility issues but was able to manage just fine by taking it slow. The morning buffet breakfast had huge number of options; only gripe is that the food should be kept hot. Having cold scrambled eggs is not the best way to start the day. But hey, when you sit eating on the terrace overlooking the amazing bay, these nits fade away. Room was great and comfortable...bathroom was a bit dated but perfectly fine for a 2 day stay. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Dmitry (hope i got the name right) -- always smiling and so helpful. Thank you for making our stay at Santorini so memorable!! For folks looking to do the hike to Oia, it starts right from this hotel!! We just strolled for about half hour down the bay side path and returned... even that was beautiful and extremely photogenic. The restaurant to the left of our room was noisy late into the night, but we shut the windows tight and that helped a lot. Overall, this hotel is a 2 thumbs up!!

All Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast is tasteful and you can view the stunning Caldera & Volcano while having it. It's located at the edge of Fira city centre and only 5 mins walk to multiple cocktail bars, 4 mins walk to Fira bus station and 10 mins walk to cable car station. Room service and cleaning is superb and I would like to give a kudo to the cleaning lady. Our room is a little bit outdated and needs to be modernized though.

This was our final night's stay in Santorini. We saw the hotel when we arrived at the start of our holiday a couple of weeks earlier and decided to treat ourselves. We had a room with balcony and caldera view which was amazing and a great place to watch the sunset. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous. The room very clean and well equipped. Thanks for a great stay
