This hotel was a wonderful surprise! We stayed there last weekend on the way home from a family wedding. It is in a beautifully decorated historic building with many inviting conversation areas. The room was spacious, quiet, and immaculate. The mattress and bed linens were very comfortable and we both slept well. But the bathroom? Oh my! It was a spa! The room included $10 vouchers for breakfast at a pleasant diner across from the hotel. Full breakfast choices were about $15 each so that made them only $5! It sometimes feels risky to choose lodging that is not a known chain. We are grateful for the helpful reviews of others so we are adding our review. Guests do need to know the hotel has no parking, but there is a parking garage a block and a half from the hotel.

Beautiful facility. No bar as advertised, no parking as expected, no access to TV. People tried their best but, was very disappointing.

The hotel is beautiful, and unique with stairs going every which way. The room was huge, and I loved the walkin shower. The restaurant was not open, so had to buzz the intercom to gain entry. The only inconvenience is parking. You must park 2 blocks away in a specific section of a parking ramp, and you have to pay for the parking. I was staying 2 nights, however the only options for parking were 24 and 72 hours, so I had to pay for a night I wasn't even there (this is the city, not the hotel). The hotel did give me a $10 voucher for 2 different breakfast restaurants to help offset the parking cost, You can park in front of the hotel for a short time to load and unload, but it is still a pain to then move the car. The location was great, right downtown, very walkable. I would probably not stay there again based on cost and inconvenience.

We had a great room. But the parking was inconvenient . There are lots of places to walk to eat&drink. Lots of art and music shops and a wonderful farmers market.

Pros: The room itself was very nice. I did find a toothpick next to the bed and Cocoa Puffs next to the chair, but otherwise it was very clean. The location is relatively safe They gave us 2 $10 coupons to use at Dave’s restaurant around the corner. It was a small, busy place, but the food was worth the wait. Cons: if you check in after 6pm in Fridays and other time for other days, they text you a key code to retrieve your key card and some instructions. The part that bothered me was that other people also had access to your keycard and such as they are all in the same box. There is no one on site to actually talk to at this time either. The biggest issue was that we had a lot of gear in our vehicle because of an earlier part of our trip and it is easy to access if someone is familiar with the setup. We did not know that there is NO ONSITE PARKING. We had to pay a nominal $3.50 to park in a parking structure a few blocks away. The other issue with that is that we could not just run down to our truck to grab something. It didn’t help that I have a minor injury that makes it difficult to walk sometimes. Also they had three spots in front for 30 minute loading/unloading, but others not with the hotel were using them I. The evening upon arrival and when checking out, there was an event like a thrift sale downstairs, so every spot was taken again. One more thing was that there is a bar up the street and the bikers were blasting their sound systems really late.
