I was not expecting a 5star hotel by any stretch of imagination.This was a two story building with no elevators or ramps which made it very hard to go up stairs with bunch of bags. The curtains in the room were not large enough to cover the entire window. I could not get the room dark enough as the bright lights from out side kept the room well lit at night making sleep hard. The third night I stayed there there was no hot water. I could not take a hot shower to go to work. Cold shower was the only option. Staff was nice and friendly. All I got was an apology for lack of hot water. Do not recommend.

This is a nice and conviniently located hotel. It was clean and staff was friendly. We did not use the restaurant. The bed was firm. Pillows were short and thick, making them somewhat uncomfortable. Parking was plentyful. Our main complain was that outside lights get into the room at night and disturb when trying to sleep (photo attached). The shower was very spacious and had one of those shower head that deliver a cascade of water (very nice), but the bathroom door could not be closed.

The eatery that was on the site has been closed for 8 months….also says on the marina but there is a high locked white fence so could not even see the marina Bed and pillows were nice and soft

As of 04/13/2025 the hotel is under going construction. It’s not major, they’re just changing out tiles on the outside. I didn’t ask how long they’d be but you can still book a reservation. This hotel is more of a motel. My MIL found a roach in the bathroom. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, room service came in while we were gone for the day and cleaned, we really appreciated that. There’s also no microwave in the room, only a mini fridge and safe.

For an old motel they did a great job renovating the rooms. Beautiful color scheme and up to date decor from linens to shower head and tiles, to a beautiful blue glass bathroom sink.The only negative was the safe in my room did not lock and I lost money in the vending machine that the kid in the office didn't know how to reimburse me for. There is an amazing Mexican Restaurant called Margaritas attached to the hotel with plenty of outdoor seating looking over the marina. The food was tasty and huge portions.

An overall good experience. Website should state that there are 2 levels and no elevator. Guests should then be able to select level needed. Also need signs to place on door indicating when you want room cleaned. We needed to check out by 11 am and they were very accommodating and allowed us to leave later.

The room was dirty, the sheets were stained and it looked as if the bathroom was not cleaned. Additionally, there were other guests with their doors open playing loud music with the smell of week and possibly other stuff getting into our room with the door closed. Requested a refund.

Total bait and switch. The good reviews must be completely fake. This place is filthy, full of mold and cockroaches. We left early and went somewhere else to stay. Avoid this place at all costs.

It is too bad photos can not be attached. This place was DISGUSTING! The floor was filthy. I took a washcloth and wiped a mere 6 inches of the floor and the cloth was brown. The light fixtures weee covered in rust. The toilet was angled towards the wall. The pillows had been washed so many times that the stuffing was matted and lumpy. The mattresses - 1 was so old and flat that it was unusable and the other was incredibly old, lumpy and uneven. There was a large spool of wire hanging above the door. There was hair all over the place - on the bed, on the towels and on the floor. The room reeked of marijuana. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. One of the shower doors was stuck. One of the rooms was open ame there were stacks and stacks of shoe boxes. Not sure what’s going on with that. It appears there are permanent residents and many don’t seem to be of the highest quality, iAnd the kicker….the hot water tanks (both!) failed and there was no hot water for over 24 hours. Again, I wish I was able to post photos. I am an athlete and I travel a lot. This was, by far, the most disgusting place I have ever seen. The positive reviews must be fake.

The location is great. Check in is pleasant. Great price for the money. Clean. My only callout, huge callout, is that it’s very bright in the rooms. There are spotlights outside of the rooms and the curtains don’t help keep the lights out. The rooms feel like you’re sleeping outside on a sunny day. Blackout curtains or at least longer curtains would be very helpful.

The rooms are very dated and whatever they use as a TV service, is terrible, the TV will sporadically go to loud static for no reason which is awful. Also the outlets in the hotel were very loose. My last complaint would be that there is no microwave in the room. But the staff was very friendly

I enjoy staying here. I’ve been here twice this summer alone. Rooms are clean and new. Service is quick and courteous. Plenty of parking and less than a 5 minute drive to the mile. My only gripe is that the rooms are super bright at night. Bring a sleeping mask. There are no blackout curtains and the lights outside of the rooms are so bright and hit directly inside of the rooms. It’s probably brighter in the rooms at night than during the day.

A marginal quality motel on the water in Freeport NY. Reasonably clean with lots of hot and very soft Freeport water in the shower. Property is a bit run down. Our king mattress was broken down in the middle causing both sides to uncomfortably tilt towards a central "canyon". Lots of TV channels, but no guide to decipher how to find your channel of interest. Room had safe and mini-fridge, but no microwave. This property has seen better days.

The room looked nothing like the picture of the "superior room". It was clean but very cheap looking. The bathroom, on the other hand, was modern and quite nice. The TV had no reception and the WiFi was iffy. The grounds around the complex was filled with cigarette butts and decorated with dumpsters. The stairs going up to our floor was rickety. Staff was nice. Restaurant on the property was closed for the season. The room, well, it suited my purpose but wouldn\'t stay there again.

Got room 232. Private locked gate onto our huge balcony overlooking the marina. Room was spacious and clean. Huge walk in shower with a rainfall shower head and bench. The stone look in the bathroom is awesome. Would definitely stay in that room again! Front desk staff were friendly as well.

Our room was very nice! Large and spacious rooms with a large bathroom, as well. The best part was the shower! It looks like the place when through a recent renovation of the rooms. Only downside was the bed wasn't comfortable for me but that's just a personal preference.

The place is in the worst part of Freeport. Front desk is behind bulletproof glass and they make you sign a waiver that they are not responsible if you get robbed. My room had no deadbolt, hair in the bed, and no number on the door. I forgot my key in my room and when I went to the front desk, the guy (who had never seen me before) gave it to me without asking for ID or anything. Absolute slum, more like a pay by the hour motel than an actual nice place to stay. Looks nothing like the pictures, customers beware!

My stay was overall good! But I had a problem. Their communication is bad because the lady at the front desk gave me a room key and when I got there the door was unlocked so I proceeded to open the door and there was a gentleman completely naked, I closed the door and went back to the front desk then she found out that the person who was in the room paid extra in the morning so he could leave late that day. She was really nice and apologized for the incident but their communication needs to be improved.

Terrible service, the room was never refreshed or cleaned after our first night The shower handle was missing and we couldnt even turn the water off. The beds absolutely horrible you'd be more comfortable in your car Save yourself money cause this place isn't worth it. They charge to much for crappy rooms.

This hotel was one of the cheapest available and was the closest I could get to being near the UBS arena without having to pay an arm and a leg. My stay here wasn't too bad...I would say I wasn't prepared for my room not to be available when my sister and I arrived very early in the morning. Our room was not ready until 11am. So we just stayed in our car from about 6am - 11am. I will say that there's a huge difference between the over night staff and the day staff, because upon arriving, I felt that the person at the front desk was insincere and was ready to get off his shift. Our room was clean, we could smell the cleaning products upon entry. We LOVED the shower which had stones at the bottom. No bugs, it was a clean room. I would say just keep to yourself, there were quite a few people staying at the hotel. Not really anything to do in the area. Upon looking for activities and things to do in the area, I thought the hotel was surrounded by water, but it turns out, the water was inside of a restaurant that's a part of the hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here recently. Was in town for the end-of-life of a family member. Room was super-clean, it was quiet, the ac kept the room a perfect temperature, and the shower was amazing! Everyone who works there is very friendly. Just a short walk to an awesome coffee shop down the road. My new stay when I'm in town.

The motel itself is cool. The staff needs to do better with booking these rooms. They gave someone else my room and in return I walked in on another couple. Later the night another couple then proceeded to do the same to me. That experience was very uncomfortable and embarrassing to say the least.

Staff is very nice. The room smelled strongly of cleaning products which gave me a headache. Also the lights outside the room were so bright that it lit up the room in the middle of the night. It kept me awake until after 3 am. Also the pillows were so hard that it felt like I was sleeping on rocks. The area also didn’t feel very safe.

It is not nice and it doesn’t feel particularly safe. When you walk into the lobby, the front desk is protected by bulletproof glass. There were people sitting outside their rooms on lawn chairs watching me as I made my way to my room. The room was not clean or comfortable. Mattress was an old spring mattress, very hard. I immediately booked another room at a different hotel and left. Don’t let the pictures fool you - this place is not charming or nice or comfortable.

Pros: Great Location 5 minutes from Nautical Mile, Friendly Welcoming Staff, Comfortable Bed and Clean Room, Uber distance from Northwell Ampitheater at Jones beach for Concert, Good Mexican Restaurant on Site, Located on Marina. The resturant is closed...looks like for a while now. The only access to the water seems to have been through the resturant. Two factors that had gotten me to book here. It was disappointing

Was comfortable enough. Would have liked to have a little something in the morning - even just juice and toast. Nothing offered that I can remember. Almost everywhere else we stayed (18 days of travel) had some form of breakfast. This seems like a basic place just to make a quick stop to sleep. Nothing impressive at all.
