Our first room was filthy. Dust so thick you could write your name on the tv stand. What appeared to be blood on the wall near thethermostat. Air conditioning did not work and no remote for the tv. Smelled musty. Overall, the room looked dirty. Were moved to another room which was slightly cleaner. Was put next to a sports team where the kids were slamming doors, running up and down halls and yelling. When we stepped out of our room, a very strong smell of marijuana hit us in the face. We could smell it the entire way to the elevator. The room right next to ours had a small child who cried loudly for 30 minutes. That was it!!!! We went to the front desk again and told the desk attendant to cancel our stay, that we were leaving. I expect a full refund because that was entirely too much aggravation for any person to go through when traveling.

This hotel has seen better days. The rugs looked filthy in our room. The desk chair was broken, and the leather was peeling off the back of it. The floor lamp in our room was broken. The bathroom was pretty gross. The shower had the flooring all broken off, and it was rust and metal showing, and the caulking was kind of nasty. We didn’t even use the shower. How many used to be like the standard when I was growing up definitely not that way anymore. Maybe I’m getting spoiled because I’ve been going on cruises and the rooms are exceptional, compared to this the sheets and stuff we’re good but the whole room smells like bleach, which I guess is good considering the fact that the sheets could be nasty.

The positives are that the bed was very comfortable, staff friendly, and it was clean. It felt safe. It would be nice if the upkeep matched the friendliness of the desk staff. It needed much TLC and welcoming atmosphere. There were coffee supplies out upon arrival with no coffee. One of the two elevators worked at a snail’s pace. The desk chair to the room needed replacing as the artificial leather was glaringly damaged. When we spoke to hotel staff, about it, they said chairs were ordered but not arrived. The shower faucet worked opposite to the red/hot and blue/cold lines, and after taking several minutes to warm up, the hot water ran out 3 minutes into my morning shower. Staff was responsive to this concern. While it met our needs, I would not stay here again.

When you book at a third-party, they have to have a credit card to charge and I gave them my Discover card. There was a problem so they had to try to rerun it because it didn’t take then that one wouldn’t take and we gave him my husband‘s visa and that finally took. They charged us three times for a card on file room charge. So instead of being charged $50 I got charged 150 still waiting to get my money back.

Furniture are old, cleanliness not up to par. I took pictures of stuff inside the room. Never staying here again. This shouldn’t be a 3 star hotel. Worst holiday inn ever stayed in.
