The first room the tv didn't work. Everything was unplugged, after I plugged everything in, it still would not work. We were moved to 2 more rooms before getting a working tv and even then they let us borrow their parlor tv remote. Hotels with no working tv in the rooms? Swimming pool was empty and full of trash. Rooms were clean. We had the distinction of being the only visitors in a three story hotel. Will not return.

No front desk staff for 15 minutes. Wrong room for my reservation. Correct room for my reservation was not clean. Had to wait 20 minutes at 8pm for a clean room with 2 exhausted little girls. Washer in guest laundry broken. Staff offered the employee washer. The door got stuck with our clothes inside. It took 3 hours for 1 load which I had to get done since I had the littles with me. No drinks available for purchase. The previous smoke detector had been removed, never replaced. Only 1 light in the elevator worked. It was very dark. The one ice machine they had was broken. The suitcase trolly broke while in use. The pool, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, to entertain our girls for a bit, was green & had plants growing all along the side through the cement. It’s obvious that it has been years since it has had any attention & the pictures need to be removed from the website. As a matter of fact the entire hotel should be removed from the Hotels.com app.

Should be illegal to say you're location has a pool when it hasn't been working in years!

The room was pieced together with old furniture from somewhere. There were cigarettes holes on the comforter and sofa. The toilet seat did not fit the shape of the toilet. We had clothes to swim but the pool had no water. The mattress was the worse! It was sunken in at the center and we woke up with back pain. It was horrible!! Breakfast was cereal and a waffle maker.

Front desk lady’s were nice when we did see them but they never answer the phone. Was there three days didn’t get housekeeping once. There was a frozen roach in our freezer. The center table was chewed up and there was a smell of dog urine in that area. The toilets look dirty. Fire alarm went off several times waking us up. The pool is drained out.

the pool was drained and the ice maker doesn't work. check in took forever, the next day the front desk personnel was no where to be found. The elevator is in bad shape, our room never cooled off, beds were horrible.

Probably one of the most horrible properties I have encountered. When I got there to check in, the front door would not work. Got in and the air conditioning was not working. It was 102 that day. The desk clerk was a guy with untied work boots, worn jeans, and a tshirt. When I told him my name he looked and looked and said, we don’t have a room that you requested available. We left, requested a refund, but never received it. Also, the pool was empty and not working, and all of the walls in the lobby were in need of repair.

Two stars because our room at least had AC. Very short staffed. Pool was green. No AC in lobby. The guests had to retrieve their breakfast from the back room. Half the light bulbs in the building were out. It seemed like at some point they just stopped giving a crap.

First and last time making reservations at this Quality Suites. My older son and I stayed at Quality Suites in Huntsville, TX for the SHSU Family weekend to visit my younger college kid. I had 2 queen bed reservations to check in on Friday to check out on Sunday. The key room was not working on Friday night not once but twice. So I was moved to another room with the wrong bed. I was ready to check out but I was threatened by a manager over the phone for fees I was not willing to pay for someone else’s lack of planning. Saturday afternoon the room key was not working on the 3rd room that I was moved to. While resting on the Saturday afternoon, a male employee came in trying to take the TV. I didn't request anyone to come into the room and take the TV. It was a terrible experience one after another. The pool was empty and dirty. No wonder not many people stayed in this location.

Check in was easy and the front desk clerk was great. The contractor was great and filled with great information. The room at first glance nice size from a glance it looked nice and clean. I did find a few issues the couch was dirt with crumbs and the mini fridge hate dead baby roaches. I did include pictures. The remote didn’t work the batteries were corroded inside. The manager was not available at my check out no one was available at check out.

The room had bugs, the ac unit kept shutting off. From the outside you can see all the windows where the curtains are falling off the wall. The pictures are very old this place was very poor.

Property was nothing like the pictures. The outside was very run down. You could see curtains actually falling off rods from outside windows. The room carpet wasn’t clean and there were old candy wrappers under the bed. The a/c kept cycling all night. Definitely not what we expected.

I am beyond disappointed with our experience at this hotel. We had booked two rooms, and both were absolutely unacceptable. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the place was nothing like what was advertised. The bedding in both rooms had visible stains on the pillows and sheets, which was disgusting and completely unsanitary. To make things worse, several of the lamps didn’t work, leaving the rooms dim and feeling neglected. The staff was unfriendly and completely unhelpful. When it was time to check out, we couldn’t even find anyone at the front desk. We waited and searched around with no one in sight — it was like the place was just running itself with no accountability. And then there was the pool, which was an absolute disgrace. It was filthy, poorly maintained, and looked more like a swamp than something a guest should feel safe using. It was clear no one had taken the time to clean or care for it in a long time. The most frustrating part of all this is that the pictures online were incredibly deceiving. They showed clean, modern rooms and a sparkling pool — a complete misrepresentation of the actual conditions. This was a major letdown, and I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a waste of money and a terrible experience from start to finish.

Bed Bugs and nasty. We left immediately. Refund please!

My first night the male staff accused my child of playing with the broken exit sign on the ground. He told my child you don't belong here. My child was respectful to the staff. I told the staff the sign was in the middle of walk way and my child eas moving it out of the path. He keep goning off on me. Not good staffing personal. Roaches in room.

This is the worst hotel at which I've stayed anywhere in the world! No pool. No Wifi. No ice. Room door didn't lock. Roaches and crickets in room. Lamps didn't work. Faucets leak. A/C fan didn't turn off. Breakfast was a joke. Noisy. Smelly. Outer doors broken. Toilet stuck on. A/C unit falling apart. Curtains missing or not hung. Light bulbs missing. No Kleenex. Staff friendly but lacked resources to rectify problems. Avoid at all costs.

The nastiest hotel

This property lack maintenance and the basic necessities that are typical in the hotel industry. Upon check in, I was checked in a room with two light bulbs out, no towels in the room, no internet service and roaches crawling around in the room. When asked about having the light bulbs replaced I was told that I would have to wait until the next day when maintenance came in.Well, I was there two days and when I checked out today, those light bulbs still had not been replaced. After checking in I went up to the front desk to address the towel and internet issue and was told that there were no clean towels at the moment and some had to be wash. So, I asked the man to please bring me towels when he got some clean, so about midnight he brought me a set of towels. Then Saturday I went out for about six hour and came back to my room where the trash had been emptied but no towels, so after chasing down housekeeping I finally got towels. The internet was no working during my whole stay per the front desk staff. I am not sure if the just didn't want guest to use it, but I decided to try and connect anyway and was able to connect to the option that said choice hotels. I informed the front desk about the roachesthat were crawlingin my room, but they basically offer no response. I killed two in the bathroom and obe crawling near the TV and another crawling on the back of the chair by the desk, it came crawling out while I was sitting at the desk trying to eat. I will not stay there again

I can not believe a reputable company like Expedia would even have this property on its website. Driving up it looked abandoned the building was filled with mold on the outside and the room was old and had cockroaches. I specifically wanted a hot breakfast and a pool which they had none. It was my car and the front desk clerk car in the parking lots all night. The place is abandoned. The elevator did not even have a safety inspection. Nothing like the website showed. The beds were old and the room was creepy as the empty halls. I need a refund. I had my granddaughters with me and that was so embarrassing. Horrible experience for us!!

Some things in the room were non functional, (bedside lamp) TV was small, but the room was surprisingly big, shower was clean and the AC worked wonderfully.

Stayed just one night. The front desk was understaffed with one lady trying the best she could to check everyone in but it was not a smooth process. Our room, while seemingly okay upon arrival, required more attention on further inspection. Lipstick on one of the comforters, a empty water bottle on the floor but he nightstand. no plastic water glasses, and a coffee pot with no coffee or mugs. The worst part was the bathroom was in disrepair. The toilet seat so worn large parts were no longer white and wood showed through. Weird metal exposed brackets where maybe a hairdryer used to be. A dirty empty tray that was maybe intended to hold glasses or disposable toiletries. The bathroom lighting had different colored lightbulbs The beds were load and squeaked every time like someone sat down or rolled over. No clock in the room. It was just one night so we stayed but would not book here again.

Check in was good room was clean and cool I turned on the TV had no signal reported it to front desk no one ever came to fix it reported it again next morning still no one came up to figure out what the issue was

Room did not have top door lock, coffee nor coffee cups, the air conditioner noise was hilarious, the power went out in the entire building, there was no one at the front desk in the dark of the hotel and there was no discount or anyone to talk to about the provided breakfast. In addition the room was more expensive because I went through Expedia which is supposed to help with discounts. Probably the worst experience I have had.

Room was nice but needed repairs to the room. Had a broken toilet seat for one, electrical covers need to be replaced etc.

Booked one night stay. Exterior was dirty. Grass not cut. Structure walls dirty with what looked like black dirt win off stains from roof. Front entrance door was broken. Receptionist had on a dirty and stained shirt. I could see her underwear because her shirt was too small. Elevator was dirty and smelled like sweaty armpits. Room was nice and large. Bed was comfortable. NO HOT WATER! I showered with lukewarm water. Ive stayed at his hotel before about four years ago and this hotel was decent then. Not sure what has happened to this property. It would be a really nice place if the owners would invest and take the time to clean it up and bring it back to life! Disappointed to see how it’s gone down!

No ice machine, room wasnt ready until 7 pm! And the food was more limited then what in said online! Rooms were very big though!

Was black mold in and on bathroom wall, as well with urine and pubic hairs on the toilet seat. The room was not real bad but not real clean i had looked under the mattress and found a old tv dinner someone stashed under there gross. Remote controls for tv didnt work either as well as older lady at the desk was extremely rude an unhelpful

My reservation was lost. Then they told me I could book another room but it was going to be $40 more than the price I reserved it at. The lady at the front desk had no customer service skills at all. Will never attempt to to stay at hotel again.

Arrived at 2am to check in. Front doors locked, nobody at the front desk. Tried calling, automated system sent me to voicemail.

I waited an hour to check in and nobody still came to check me in. The front desk was unoccupied for over an hour. Very unprofessional

The lock on our room did not work and the front desk person had to use some kind of device to open it. Keys would not work so she told us anytime we needed to leave the room to come and find her and she would let us in. We asked for another room,none were available. And unfortunately when we went to the front desk for help she was was unavailable because she was the only one working and she was cleaning rooms. Management needs to staff up and do proper maintenance

This is my first negative review that I have given to any business. Here’s a list of problems…. 1. Waited 10 mins at the front desk before any staff showed up! It was 3:30pm! 2. Lamp at bedside table not working. 3. Toilet kept running and wouldn’t flush half the time. Had to walk to the lobby to tell the front desk because the phone in the room was dead! No one ever came to fix toilet. 4. Bath tub faucet had a constant stream of water. Couldn’t turn it off. 5. TV remote wouldn’t control volume. Walked to the front lobby again! Staff member did try to fix, but wasn’t successful! 6. By this time, I lost my cool! I asked for another room and all they could say was they were already booked up. 7. No staff at the front desk at checkout. I just left my key on the counter and walked out.

When I arrived the front desk clerk could not give me a key because they couldn’t use the computer. I went to eat when I returned a little after 11 PM there was no one at the front desk. I waited for 30 minutes to get into my room. Then, the television did not work at all. Terrible experience.

We were not able to check in and had to find another place to stay at 11:30 pm. Upon our arrival at 10:43pm, there was a customer who was on the phone with a manager on speaker phone - We could hear both conversations- he was upset about his people having dirty rooms with roaches or others losing their reservation. During this time, the person behind the counter was answering questions from the manager on the phone or cleaning the counter. There was a switch of clerks, then the new clerk got a phone call and disappeared. By 11:30, after not being able to check in or acknowledged we had to leave and found another place, we had to be up at 6 am for an event the next morning . Would like to someone to contact me for refund.

Room was clean and comfy, hotel was clean , pool needed cleaning . There is a lot of construction on tje highway by the hotel but it was quiet.

This is an old property with no upgrades. Not many options around in this area so I resorted to this one. The setting isn’t welcoming, ac not cooling much, tv is old and doesn’t work. Needs remodeling!!!!

Should have realized with no cars in the parking lot to turn around, but I already had the Expedia reservation. Highway access road under construction, entrance hard to find and dangerous to pull out. Automatic entry doors were broken, had to physically pry them open to get in. No note on them, just had to figure it out for yourself. Lights were off behind check in counter, thought the place was closed down!! Room was ok, but I got my surprise when I tried to take my shower at 5 am and not enough water pressure to make the shower work. I ran the bathroom sink and it had plenty of water pressure but no hot water! Breakfast was a joke, coffee, waffle maker, a few pieces of bread for toast and juice. Run to Super 8 or Motel 6, do not stay here!

Quiet and easy access

I liked that it was in walking distance to a restaurant, however the checkin experience overshadowed everything else! I arrived at 7pm and although they could confirm that they saw my booking, it took forever for me to be officially checked in!

The rooms are very outdated. The hotel lobby was a sauna, entrance doors were not working. Had to open the auto doors manually. Towels in my room were old and dingy. I will say although room was not pleasing to the eye, it was clean. No working ice machine on the property. Luckily there was a gas station near. Pool was not open which wasn’t a surprise., Hotel was convenient to getting back on the interstate if you’re going South. If you’re traveling North , it’s a headache to get back on that side. Lots of construction in the area. Not many restaurants in the area. Small diner next door, but I didn’t try it. I will say the man that checked me in was very kind and up front about the amenities at the hotel.

Photos on website were stock and not of actual location. Parking lot had no lights in parking lot which made it dark. Room was nice but house keeping never came in to clean, empty any trash, or bring clean towels. We were there 4 days. Breakfast was very disappointing. All they offered was waffles, cereals that were left in jar and on the counter 24 hrs a day, and a few slices of bread to toast. 3 or 4 butter packets and 2 jelly packets. A small pitcher of OJ and Milk with some coffee. Not the breakfast options expected to have when it is advertised that they offer breakfast.

We were one of two guests at this hotel. It could be a very nice hotel, but was in great need of some maintenance and repairs. They offered breakfast, but was really toast with no butter and waffles. That was it! I would not call that breakfast. The room was fine but very outdated. The pool was a swamp and you could not access any doors but the front entrance. Not worth the price we paid. I chose this hotel because the pictures looked nice and they offered breakfast. The breakfast was nonexistent!

First siding door didnt even slidecopen (had to push open/apart) Front desk girl was nice once we tracker her down. Ice machine was 2 sandwich baggies provided by front desk (was offered more but felt guilty) Room had 2 light bulbs out. Hot water in shower was lukewarm at best. Breakfast...wasnt. had cereal, waffles and bread for toast. Hot coffee wasnt even lukewarm at 7.05 (opened at 7). Very shocked at the above for a "quality" inn. Ive stayed at a few throughout the USA and Canada and they wrre far above my experience here.

Pool was a green sea of algae. Fortunately the gate was firmly locked. Breakfast was almost laughable. No eggs, no fruit, no breakfast rolls, just a waffle maker. I came down 20 minutes after opening and there were four slices of bread. There were two pitchers of milk and orange juice, both quickly emptied. There were sausages, but none too tasty because they had been heated a while before and put on a heating device. And there were three types of cereal. Lastly, the butter was a large stick in the cooler that had been sliced thick enough that I first mistook it for a block of cheese.

The beds were decent but creaky. When I went to go for breakfast I didn’t see the usual eggs and bacon and I went to ask about it they said they don’t make it only the waffles you make yourself and cereal that who knows how long it’s been in there
