Days Inn by Wyndham Lafayette Near Lafayette Airport

This place was so noisy the 2am train horn and the people drinking and partying. This place was old and outdated our door didn’t even close all the way. Definitely didn’t feel safe. Just an creepy vibe overall. Nice hot shower though.

The outside driving up to it was dingy and rundown looking. Nothing looked like the photos online. There were dead bugs all over the floor. The TV did not work. The door looked jarred looking like it wasn't closed all the way. The curtain didn't close all the way. The lamp was snapped in half broken. The fitness center advertised was under renovation and unavailable. And the American Flag outside was raggedy and shredded. Overall was icky, sketchy, did not look safe and unacceptable. We got a room somewhere else.

I had stayed here before . The outside area is extremely well lit at night . The room was clean and had no bad odors. Sheets were clean. The grounds were a little unkept ,but the check in office reeked of cigarette smoke . It was very quiet at night and I appreciate the air condition being on when I arrived. Overall good place to stay for a night .

Older property that has not been kept up. We booked it because of the price, and got what we paid for. There really isn't any good thing to say about or room and the property in general, except their breakfast was ok, and the mattress on the bed was firm, and seemed to be pretty new.

The property was very clean. Conveniently located close to the airport. Although the facility was very dated, it was comfortable.

It was good value for the money, but the property needs some cleaning needed around the stairs and the walkways on 2nd floor where my room was.

The pictures of the hotel are not current. It was dilapidated and in disrepair externally and run down inside.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time. It was very old, nothing like the pictures. The bathtub was dirty, the sheets on the beds were stained and looked dirty. We slept on top of them and still felt like it was dirty. The bed sounded like a steel drum every time you moved. And it was hard as steel too. The toilets were stained. The parking lot was horrible, 2 cars in it had flat tires and one was covered with a tarp. We had just taken a short trip, and we booked it while on the road so we couldn't get a refund so decided to just suck it up. Do not stay at this hotel if you want a good night's rest and to feel clean because you will get neither.

MOLD!!! I didn’t notice it the first couple of days and then my friend came to see me and found it all over the side of the bed and coming through the paint where they had painted over it in the bathroom, they did move me to another room and it also had it on the ceiling and beside the molding in the bathroom, I had to ask them twice to clean the bathroom because it smelled like straight urine, they said they did but didn’t so I took a hand towel and mopped it and it was black when I got done!! The coffee in the dinning area was great though.

Dirty! Floors left my bare feet black, stinky food left in microwave, food left in refrigerator, front door did not seal and looked like it had been kicked at some point. Mystery bag of something under love seat, stained bed cover, walls paper thin, could hear neighbors on both sides. Felt unsafe. The staff was very friendly.

This property was unsanitary. I have images upon request. The bed had cigarette burn marks. The TV wasn’t working, the wall paint was peeling from the walls, and had what it seemed internal water damage, since the paint was bubbling. The couch was disgustingly dirty and stained.I went to call the office to report all that, and the phone had visible mold and not even working. I took the phone back to the main office and reported it with the front desk. There was a very nice lady at the front desk that says that will make sure the property manager knows. I ended up sleeping half the night in my car because I was coughing so much due to my allergies to mold. The room was not safe for anyone to stay in.

Yes, I must say I was surprised.! The hotel we enjoyed 😊 our stay very much and will be back. It was quiet, the rooms were CLEAN, the Staff was very friendly and kept up with the rooms on regular basis. Thank you for your service.

There was stained sheets and broken air conditioner and the bathroom was not clean and tub was clogged up. Sink was nasty as well had to ask for sheets and a changed room but room was worse than the first one and nastier .

Bed bugs...all I have to say

HORRIBLE! The pictures they have on Google are not accurate at all! King suite was what I booked and I was highly upset when we arrived. Rooms are not located "inside". The room we were in was nasty and dirty. Dead bugs on the floor throughout the room. Bugs crawling on the walls. Bathroom was nasty and dirty. Mirror was filthy. Room looked like it had not been cleaned or dusted. Bad odor in the room. Tub was disgusting. TV didn\'t work but upon looking, it was not plugged in and neither was the microwave. Plugged in the TV and it needed to be set up so we were unable to even watch TV. Mini fridge was dirty. Phone in the room did not work. We ended up going to a store to buy cleaning supplies to clean and disinfect the room. Bugs were flying out the sink drain. Went to the front desk to complain and to check out and get refund and was told he could not give us a refund that only the manager could. Asked him to call the manager and he said it was too late to contact the manager (it was 8:30 pm). We did check in around 7:30 pm due to getting in town and having to finalize funeral arrangements for thr next day. We were basically stuck having to stay in this nasty room for the night. Immediately the next morning we checked out and got a refund. I showed the front desk clerk all the pictures and videos of the bugs and uncleanliness of the room and all he could do was apologize. Horrible experience to endure during a time where we came for a funeral of our loved one.

We had a great experience checking in and the room was spacious. The jacuzzi was working properly and it was quiet

The beds are like sleeping on rocks. Pillows the same. The room doesn't smell clean. My fault that i didn't check to see there was an airport right next to me with a 5:30 take off.

Got there, got a room, walked into room and the 2 beds were on top of each other and one bed frame leaned against the wall. They gave me a different room I ended up having to disconnect the smoke alarm because the battery was dead and kept beeping. The toilet ran all night and barely flushed. All in all a horrible place to stay.

The room had a smell of being closed up for a while. Paint peeling off the bathtub and rust in the sink. Air-conditioning sounded like a 18 wheeler parked outside

The room wreaked of smoke, outdated furnishings, requested handicapped accommodations and the toilet was too low to the ground, cigarette butts we’re everywhere on the parking and sidewalks, curtains would not close well, and the ac did not cool well!

The room is big for 5 adults. Sheets, pillowcases & blankets are cleaned. The motel is pretty run down. Breakfast is standard.

Very outdated, tiny bathrooms that are gross, the bed is just springs ontop of an aluminum platform that makes a ton of noise everytime you move.

Rudest front desk clerks EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE THREE. They stole my deposit and told us we had to leave ASAP bc after spending money on two nights we apparently give there hotel a bad image!

Costumer service was terrible. There was blood and mold on the comforter. They triple charged me for my room and still haven’t approved a refund for me.

On issue I have is when you pay the deposit for the room, it takes them more than 2 days to refund the money back. No one should have to wait on their money. I checked out Friday morning and here it is Wednesday and I am still waiting. Will have to pay extra for better service.

Out toiley wouldnt flush and they wouldnt give us a plunger nor send someone to help us . Also peoppe at hotel seemed fangerous and saw two men walking around with guns.

Everything was amazing. Can do better with the little soap given in the room. It doesn't smell or anything lol..but service at front desk is very good.

The room did not match the pictures at all. Tub was filthy, some gross spider thing by the toilet, and the door would close all the way. We did not stay. The guy at the check in desk was very nice and understanding. He offered to put us in another room, but we were not comfortable.to stay at all. He was understanding and very cordial.

I didn’t not even stay and pay $300 to stay somewhere else. The check in office smelled awful and the room smelled worse. The toilet had dried urine and it felt like I was breathing in particles. It had men all on the side of the buildings smoking weed and a couple fighting. This is definitely nowhere to stay with a child. I felt very unsafe on top of it being nasty!!!

Clean nice bedding. Very economical for a place to sleep if your just looking for a place to spend the night near the airport.

This hotel was soo run down, dirty, and just felt unsafe. Unfortunately it was our only choice in the area. The breakfast was only partially put out with many things left empty as well as an empty vending machine. The door to our room did not fully seal, so you could see light come through from the outside. Bugs were the norm, the only plus is it had 3 beds to house our whole family!! I would never recommend this hotel, just gross.

The smoke detector had been wrapped in plastic wrap. The room smelled of smoke and there was a burn hole on the comforter. The breakfast area was not well stocked. No butter and milk not fresh. The waffle mix must have been from the day before and was watery and unusable.
