hotel was full of young hockey players, made it rather loud and they took up all the dining space, swim time - obviously this is not the fault of the hotel, but it is a little too popular with families/kids for a nice quiet stay. Pool was dirty, likely due to large number of kids swimiing and is rather small. Carpet in the room is in need of a deep cleaning. Beds were nice and clean, very comfortable; bathrooms was clean but very cramped.

The staff were friendly and the pool area was clean. We had to switch rooms due to some dirty/wet carpeting. Understaffed at the front desk. The building was starting to look run down, with peeling paint and wallpaper, scuff marks, chipped furniture, etc. Beds were clean comfortable and the kids had fun in the clean pool area.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful! Our bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. Only downside was nighttime parking. Their lot seems a bit small for the hotel and we had to park in a different lot. Staff was helpful in directing us though.

Called to ask for an early check in (1.5 hrs early) was told it would be a $24 charge. Seems a bit expensive for an hour and a half early, so we chose to wait until check in time. Staff were friendly, lots of options for breakfast. The room was not vacuumed. We found an ibuprofen pill on the floor and a medicine cup with some liquid still in it. This is concerning considering we had a 1.5 year old staying with us.

Hotel was newer, almost seemed nearly brand new. But is surrounded by a commercial and industrial park. There is a truck depot right up against it that runs 24/7 and it’s extremely noisy throughout the night. There is also a lack of parking due to campers and semi trucks parked in the hotel lot that do not seem to be guests there. There were quarter sized spots of dried blood in my bathroom that hotel staff missed twice before I cleaned it myself. Shower was also dirty upon arrival with hair and dry mucus on the walls Refrigerator was constantly leaking water from somewhere AC unit was unusually noisy when running. had to keep it off to sleep.

Power blind would not open, front desk said it would be looked at next day, it wasn’t. Bathroom fan didn’t work. Our window faced a trucking outfit that worked overnight, lots of noise.

Room was ok. There were quite a few stains on the carpet (room 603) and the layout was awkward. The TV was positioned where you could barely see it from the bed. All amenities (and nice ones!) were provided in the bathroom. Great lotions, shampoos, etc. The breakfast was a little disappointing as the pancake making machine was down the whole weekend we were there. Other than that, the continental breakfast was ok. There was a variety of food. The little convenience store wasn't well stocked on supplies in the fridge/freezer, but the shelf items were well stocked. Overall, it was a good experience for a short stay minus a few things. I would stay here again (just in a different room).

The room was well appointed and seemed very updated. The staff was very friendly and were doing a great job. The free breakfast was way above expectations, easily $15.00 / pp value. I believe the room price was a bit higher than usual, due to the demand during the State Fair, but very much worth it. Will stay here again.

The hotel was understaffed at check-in. We waited 5+ minutes at the front desk to check-in. The beds were very comfortable. The refrigerator in the room did not work, which didn't matter for us but should have been checked. The room had an odd smell when we arrived but seemed to abate. The hotel backs up to a trucking company so lots of back up beeping early in the morning. Breakfast was managed as best it could be with the crowd.

There were no curtains in the room just a thin shade. Couldn't sleep due to heavy equipment trucks making noise at 4 am plus with no curtains the street light shone into the room.

The problem is if you are on the east side, you get a lot of traffic noise and if you're on the north side, you get VERY early morning backup beepers from the transport trucks picking up at baking company. Ear plugs are available so that should tell you somethjng.

The hotel was off the beaten path but was nice. Breakfast was a joke the whole time we stayed there was never any food. They didn't have enough staff to cover the breakfast and the one staff that was working was running around overworked. Check-in took forever as well. Nice hotel but maybe not expect to eat breakfast here and be in a rush to get to your room.

Cannot believe this happened! Spoke to the employee who is running the front desk over the phone and told him we were on our way to check in he said okay no problem when we got to the hotel with all of our bags he informed us that they have given our room away and now are fully booked. I paid for this room 2 months ago and just spoke to him on the phone. He was a very nervous and had to get on the phone and get us a different room at a different hotel and entirely different location. The new hotel was being remodeled and elevators didn't even work as they put us on the third floor. I have never had this happen before we will be speaking to management.

Super clean, wonderful breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. My only complaint was the noise from the bread facility next door. The constant noise of the semis backing up (beep beep beep) until midnight and again at 6am was frustrating. The walls are paper thin between rooms as well. I recommend asking to stay on the MNLottery side of the hotel.

Next door is a loading dock. Saturday 6AM all i heard was beeping of semi trailers backing up to be loaded. Not any fault of hotel, but disliked anyway. Breakfast was good but staff unable to keep up with guests eating. Juice, coffee, eggs and bacon empty at 8 am. Had to wait. No biscuits at 8:30. However, my bed was HUGE and comfortable. Nice tv selection. Lots clean towels. And a couch was nice too
