The hotel was old and outdated but fairly clean. The pool & hot tub were nice. The room was okay; tight quarters. I didn't like the fact that the north exit door we went in & out of was never locked. For safety reasons, I think the door should be keyed for security. Also, they still use the key system for locking your door. It would be best to update to keyed cards. Saturday morning, my husband went down to use the pool & hot tub while I slept in. As I was lying in bed someone tried to get in our door. I didn't feel comfortable after that. The staff was nice & did go out of their way to help get our room cleaned. My husband thought he turned the doorhanger to maid service, but it was not maid service. It was do not disturb. His eyes are little off. They have two different types of door hangers. Ours had do not disturb on both sides; the room across from us had one side do not disturb and the other side maid service. They apologized for not having the same door hanger & were prompt in getting our towels and sheets to our room. However, they brought two fitted sheets instead of one fitted & one cover & we had to make our own bed because by that time, no maid service. The grounds were not well kept and there were several cigarette butts lying on the ground on the exit to the north of the building. The whole place could use a lot of updates and landscaping. For the money it was average. I would look elsewhere next time we stay in Stillwater.

We were there mid-week for two nights and both nights were quiet and it was easy to get to sleep and stay asleep. That was wonderful. Breakfast was lacking but there is an excellent restaurant called "Keys Cafe" one minute south of the inn. Eat there! The spa and pool area were clean and towels were available. Nice place at a reasonable price.

One of the dirtiest hotels we have been in. Stinks bad. We almost drove home and took the loss.
