Economy Inn Express Warren

What guests think

Guests describe Economy Inn Express Warren as a straightforward, affordable, family-run motel that delivers the basics reliably, feels generally safe and quiet, and earns repeat business from travelers seeking a no-frills stopover while passing through or visiting nearby.

Reviews consistently praise the property and rooms for being very clean and well maintained. Rooms are small but comfortable, with some dated or crowded furnishings; a few guests report HVAC cycling or street and train noise in front units, while Wi-Fi and water pressure generally perform well. Amenities are simple: limited on-site breakfast (mostly pastries), request-only items like an iron, and occasional policy or check-in quirks, so value-focused travelers who prioritize basics over extras tend to leave satisfied.

I read the reviews on this location, and was very impressed with what I read, which led to me booking the room for my husband and I. I am very pleased to say that the reviews were very accurate! This is the best little place in Warren - VERY clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating, which was a major plus for us, considering that we make this trip annually, and the primary staff person at the place where we’d stayed in previous years was completely rude and disrespectful. It was time for a change, and I’m so glad that we took a chance on the Economy Inn. The rooms are a little small, but still provided more than enough space for my husband and I to stretch out and be comfortable. We didn’t spend a great deal of time in the room anyway, so it most definitely served its purpose for when we needed it. The parking lot has great lighting, with motion lights outside of every room, which made us feel very safe. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and definitely plan on staying again.

A lovely property! Stayed here for almost a week and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The rooms are clean and include good amenities. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, they do everything they can to make you feel at home. With the laundry unit they have, you could comfortably live out of here for a couple weeks. Internet speed is pretty decent too (20 Mbps up / 15 Mbps down) for business trips are good too.

We discovered this motel by chance on a business trip a couple years back. We've been back twice now when visiting the area. I don't think I've ever been to a cleaner motel, economy or otherwise.

It’s an old property family owned. It appears they try to keep it up but it is small and a little bit over cluttered in the room.

I loved this little place. It was older, but very well maintained. The age definitely added to the experience, because the layout was so quaint. The bed was comfortable, the shower was super, the WiFi worked great, and the television provider was Direct TV. This is the place to stay in southeastern Arkansas.

Over all a great place, I only rate it 4 stars because the air/heat unit was set so if would turn off and on every 2 minutes or so. Which made it hard to sleep. Eventually we set it to just blow on the “fan” option as recommended by the front desk, but as it was 30 degrees at night the heat would have been nice to have at night but it wasn’t the end of the world. We were brought fresh towels on the second day of our stay which was nice.

This is a nice place to stay for the purpose needed. The rooms were affordable, clean and the staff was attentive. The things I didn't like about the room is you have to ask for an iron, there was no way to contact the front desk from the room (no hotel phone number in the room or on the keyholder envelope and you have to go directly to the front desk in person to ask for what you need) too many small furnishings in a cramped and tight quarter and the pillows are uncomfortably flat.
