At Quality Inn & Suites Fairview - Erie, guests consistently praise the free made‑to‑order breakfast and many friendly staff, while noting an aging property with inconsistent upkeep and noticeable smoke, marijuana, or mildew odors in some common areas.

Rooms are basic and often described as dated, with recurring maintenance issues like weak water pressure or faulty outlets, and occasional noise from nearby areas. Many reviews report the pool is closed or under construction, there is no elevator, and the parking lot and exterior areas need maintenance. We have been coming to this hotel for years. Never had any issues until this year. They advertise as having a pool. No where does it say the pool is closed or will be closed for the season. I spent extra time getting pool "stuff" ready and packed only to get there and find out that the pool is not open this year. Not only was I a mad Mama but I have two very upset children.

Great parking area for a truck with a boat trailer. The room was fine and the AC worked well. The fan stayed on (a soothing background noise) and the compressor kicking on and off was not noticeable (important for a light sleeper). We never could figure out the TV which is not that important for a one night stay. Complimentary breakfast at the restaurant on site was amazing, a full breakfast. My only complaint is that we had a room on the second floor and there is no elevator. Hauling suitcases up a flight of stairs was our "workout" for the day.

Hotel is close to everything! Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Pool was under renovation (closed), and Expedia did not list that information, so grandkids were disappointed to not get their evening swims. Parts of hotel is under minor renovations, but it was clean and spaciois. Could use a couple of elevators! A lot of steps for us older folks.

Location advertised a pool, when we got there the pool was still under reconstruction, UNUSABLE, also there was an uncovered trench across the parking lot that wasn't marked or illuminated. Additionally a bag of laundry (underwear.shorts.socks, and two shirts) was thrown out by the maid, and our complaint at the front desk was ignored...

The hotel lobby smelled of smoke so bad it was still on my clothes tbe next day. The room needed redone , the wallpaper was coming up . The bathtub facet pulled out of the wall when i pulled up on the shower pull. The rug had stains . The side of the bed had a rip and was dirty. The bathroom sink spigot turned sideways when i turned it on. There was several spots throughout tbe room and on the doors that had big marks that needed painted. It was very dirty and i would never recommend it to anyone. It says it has a pool and there pool is empty. I was very disappointed to say the least.

It was horrible. We where there with 4 families who all had their own rooms and we found cockroaches in all 4 rooms. When we contacted the night manager he disnt seem to shocked, and told us to talk to the manager in the morning. We where told he would be there at 10am, he didnt show up until 11am. When we went to the desk to talk to him and told him that we had found cockroaches in 4 seperate rooms he was combative, ignorant, rude and Insinuated that it was us. He only gave partial refund for the night which was also inappropriate for what we found.

It was disgusting. There was dirt/marks on the sheets that were easily wiped with water (so not a stain, just unwashed), the water from the sink came out yellow, there was an awful smell in the room that wouldn’t go away, and literal MOLD all over the inside of the fridge. We did not complain to management, so we can’t speak on their accommodations but it was absolutely disgusting.

Our first room, walked in and immediately found a beer can with cigarette butts in it. Asked at front desk if it was a smoking room (not like the butt can shouldn’t have been picked up if it was clean). She put us in another room. Dirty microwave/fridge. Carpet obv not vacuumed. Huge wet spot in carpet. Mould all over bathroom walls and condensation all over the toilet that didn’t clear with fan running. Tub had soap drizzles left on it. Stairs and halls reeked of weed. Pool half full and green. Only good thing was the breakfast staff. They were lovely.

Nope nope nope Mirror was falling off the wall. Floor wasn’t vacuumed. Exhaust fan in bath sounded like it was a jet liner. Tub walls had dirty drips all down them. Shower curtain all brown on bottom. Tub spout pulling out of wall. Get in, rinse off get out don’t touch anything. The towels were stained but clean, sheets looked clean. Pillows were single covered and pretty gross. No smoke detector. Wouldn’t run heater because it smelled bad. The only good thing was the breakfast, it was a full breakfast with fresh fruit. The people serving breakfast were super friendly.

The check-in experience was efficient and pleasant. We found and accessed the room easily. We asked for a non-smoking room, but we were aware of a smokey odor around the property. The wifi connection was very faint, probably because we were somewhat removed from the main part of the motel. But the included breakfast the next morning made up for everything!

So I gave this hotel a second chance after staying there two years ago. The room was clean and staff nice but the entire facility is very old. This is the second time I stayed and the second time I had very limited hot water (never really got hot) and water pressure so low I couldn't rinse my hair out. Very disappointing.

Do NOT stay here! If I could give 0 stars I would! The clerks were friendly but the Manager, Ankur, was extremely unprofessional & yelled at me over the phone. The first room, 111 had brown goo dripping from the bathroom exhaust. The bedding was filthy! There was shoe prints on the inside of the comforter and old blood stains. Then we noticed fresh blood on the blankets. When I complained to the front desk they gave us room 112, which had unidentified stains on the ceiling and peeling wallpaper. There was black mold on the hallway ceiling. If I hadn't driven 14 hours that day & was desperately tired I would have continued to drive! When I called the next day to speak with the Manager he kept yelling at me, talking over me, was extremely disrespectful, and unhelpful. This place should be condemned by the health department. If I could submit photos I would.
