Family just stopping for a day, but the pool was closed, beds were extremely hard (even my 8 year old complained) and top it off the pancake machine wasn’t working. Normally I wouldn’t say anything if you pay for a cheap hotel, but when you’re charging $120 and more a night then should be a little better.

The elevator was broken again. They had me slated for a 3rd floor room, but I refused to accept it. It was broken the last 2 times I stayed there. I'm not hauling luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. The desk clerk found a different room for me on 1st floor. That room had a shower with lukewarm water. I guess that's better than climbing stairs?

Pool was not heated, didn’t find out until after checking in, would have been nice if this was something that was put on the website. Toilet ran off about every 30 minutes all night.

The elevator was out of service. Really!?! Plus the hot water took forever to warm up in the shower. Our room door had a gap you could see through. The tub was Rusty. Room was clean but common areas were NOT clean! Stuff and spills on the floor and carpet. We won’t be staying here again.

I had previously stayed at this facility back in 2008 and the decline of this hotel is terrible. The elevator was not available my entire stay of 3 nights, the swimming pool was unuseable due to no water in it, the carpets were so filthy if you took your shoes off your feet were black immediately. Our room was not cleaned or touched for the entire stay!!!! Amazing!!! The only nice thing I can say is that the lobby and food area was always clean, the food was good, your employees were absolute sweethearts!!! The outside yard maintance was like being in a farmers unkept field. I would suggest if you want to stay in business you do a major overhaul either to your management or your establishment, or both!! You certainly had no problem charging me a fee for staying there that should be refunded due to the disgusting conditions I dealt with as a paying guest thinking I was going to have something decent to stay in!!

The check in process was quick and the front desk staff friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious with lots of options. There were a few note worth issues however. The carpet was filthy to the point that you feet were black if you were barefoot. The AC unit was so loud every time it cycled on and off that it woke us up repeatedly. The bathtub plug was broke so it wouldn’t hold water. The sink facet had an annoying constant drip. The TV remote was broken so you could only watch the channel that came up when you turned it on.

This was the worse holiday inn I’ve ever stayed at. The toilet ran all night. The sheets were dirty, had blood stains in the bed my daughter slept in. The remote didn’t work when we got to the room. The elevator didn’t work and of course no rooms available on the first floor. And I’ve got a broken wrist so that even made it worse. The breakfast was mostly warm not hot like it should be. Was woken up at 7:40 am because they were mowing the grass. Who mows that early?

The front desk clerks we're great. That being said, the hotel houses many near-by oil refinery workers which was evidenced by the oil stained bathtub and walls. The bottoms of my feet were black after walking on the filthy carpet and tile. No bathroom fan or plug for the tub drain. The grounds we're covered in weeds, and the grass hadn't been mowed in at least 6 weeks. The pool area's trash can was overflowing with empty beer cans from the previous night, and the bottom of the pool was covered with dirt. DO NOT STAY HERE unless of course you are an oilfield kinda person!!!!!!

There are both great and not-so-great things to say here… All the staff was friendly but they did have a lack of communication regarding an early checkin that we had requested. They sincerely apologized but it was frustrating because we ended up having to change for a funeral in the lobby bathrooms. The room was nice and clean but the bed was not at all comfortable. The pool and gym: we didn’t use either of them but they appeared nice and clean. The breakfast was a nice surprise… they had the typical cold food options but then they also had a buffet of warm food options which is something you don’t usually get for free. Overall, I’d stay there again if it was a quick one-night trip but I’d make sure communication for special requests is actually communicated and I’m not sure I’d choose it for an extended stay because of the bed.
