What guests think

At Best Western Yellowstone Crossing, travelers frequently praise friendly staff, solid hot breakfasts, and convenient access to I-90, while recurring drawbacks include train noise for light sleepers and occasional HVAC or cleanliness problems.

Rooms are generally comfortable, with some noting good beds and extra seating, though opinions on mattress firmness vary. Staff was excellent, the breakfast was really good for a buffet, juice machine was out the whole time but no biggie. Parking can get a little tight at night. Jacuzzi was nice and warm but it is more of a hot tube, the jets barely put out any pressure.

Hot tub wasn’t working. Pool was cold (suppose to be heated) was told this was just remodeled. When I brought up the issue it was not addressed or fixed. The day I left I explained all the issues we had. I was told that “Well the pool and hot tub are working now.” (I was there 3 days and they were not working everyday I was there) My second room looked like housekeeping didn’t clean it before check in. Nothing done about that issue. So stay really wasn’t great but it could have been worse.

Wish the pool was a little warmer & the hot tub had the bubbles! Housekeeper was very friendly & helpful ....the back of the lawn had so much garbage throwed around that we couldn't enjoy it! But other then that it's a very friendly & quiete place to stay & we would stay again but let's get pool warmer!! Thank you!!! 😊😊 Grandkids had a blast!

My room didn't have a heater that worked it just blew cold air. But they did put in a space heater on the floor that my 1 year granddaughter found fun to touch. Then i arrive and the pool and hot tub are under construction. The entire reason i went to this hotel. I should have just left when i checked in.

Pool and hot tub out of service and apparently has been for quite some time. I have stayed here before and had great experience however this place seems to have gone down hill...not sure if it's because of management. No shampoo, conditioner, body wash in dispenser...lucky we brought out own. On a positive note the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is mediocre at best. Probably will not stay here again.

Booked this hotel for 5 day stay to visit family. Booked it for pool as I need to exercise daily. Pool was not open, laundry was out of order, black stuff on our feet if we went barefooted. Breakfast was good, full hot breakfast. Staff was helpful. They had a management problem and were under new management. Can be a good place with the new crew.

Pool and hot tub were out of service. After reading reviews, they have been out of service for over 2 months! Nothing about that when booking. Room was freezing, was told heaters are not turned on because it’s summer. Black hair everywhere. Not real clean! Don’t recommend this hotel.

The beds were clean and comfortable and the hotel has a really nice breakfast. The staff was pleasant to deal with, and it is a quiet and safe place. The pool and hot tub were quite cloudy, but we were there at the end of the day, so that could have something to do with it. Our toilet was dirty (I am sure it has been for a while) and the floor was really dirty. The walls in the bathroom needed scrubbed in places, too. Overall, for the price and comfortability, I would stay again.

Easy on and off the highway for an overnight on our way home. Very clean and well maintained rooms and hallways. We loved the couch and comfy chair that most rooms don’t have. Breakfast was good, especially given that a lot of hotels no longer offer any breakfast. The parking lot and area felt safe. There were several dining options close by. They only two drawbacks were the trains very close by that ran all night. Not a problem for me, but my husband doesn’t sleep well any night, so really struggled with the noise each time he would just start to fall sleep. The other change I would love to see are refillable toiletry dispensers rather than the individual plastic bottles and small soaps.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! We checked in and went to our room, the room was horrible, stuff all over the floor and the floor itself was disgusting! we asked to me moved, and we were, right into another filthy room! As a professional cleaner myself, I would venture to say the floors had not been vacuumed in months! The 2nd room even had dried toothpaste on the floor! If we compare this hotel to the next Best Western we stayed in the following night, in Havre, I would say this owners in Laurel do not want or card about this franchise any longer. We will never go back!

Our toilet didn’t not work. This property and room was dirty. Carpets need to be cleaned. You can see dust handprints on the wall. You can see a collection of dust around the rim of the room. All air vents were seeping with thick dust. Beds seemed decent and clean though sheets were stained. My comparison is holiday inn express.

The hotel was convenient to the Billings airport. We stayed the first and last night of our trip at the end of July. The first night, the A/C did not work - no option for refund to find another hotel. Hotel staff were trying to help; no manager on site. We returned the last night of the trip and again, the A/C was not working. The problem was not resolved during the week we were traveling. Options for refund or alternate lodging were not available because 'we booked through Expedia' - inconvenient and uncomfortable. On the positive, their morning breakfast offerings were good. The location was close to basic options found in most towns. The on-site staff was doing the best they could; however, their options were very limited due to management.
