Stayed here for 2 nights with my kid. Didn’t check in on night one until late. Was able to get into the pool / hot tub, but the hot tub didn’t seem very clean and the water was very low. There were only 2 towels in the container available for swimmers. The next morning we went swimming again and there were no towels still. In the morning I noticed the toilet was not flushing properly. I called the front desk and they responded with Maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends. That makes sense?! They told me I could come to the front desk and get a plunger. I did and then unclogged the toilet. That same night my kid used the toilet and it was clogged again. I tried to use the plunger and it didn’t work and now the toilet wouldn’t stop running. The dirty toilet water was overflowing into the bathroom. I turned off the water to the toilet so it would stop and called the front desk. I explained the situation to them and they told me to come to the front office and get another room key and they would move me rooms. They upgraded my room to a suite which was nice and they said they tried to credit my stay but because of how I booked it (through Hotels.com) they were unable to provide any credit for the inconvenience.

People were friendly. Clean room & dining area. Bed was decent; pillows were stiff. I loved having a window that opened for fresh air! Breakfast - not much variety, highly processed. The only yogurt was artificially sweetened; there was only black tea-no other varieties. The pool was highly chlorinated, way too cold for me and the hot tub was way too hot. We stayed 4 days and rarely saw anyone swimming. No one in my family opted to try to swim again. The fitness center was way too small, had windows so people could watch you, and was quite dirty. It had a bike, treadmill, and good selection of free weights that blocked the mirror. There was only1 restaurant nearby; you had to drive to everything. It did have space to take walks and many people enjoyed that. It was a great place for a night or 2 but we wished we could have picked another place for 4 days.

Nice, clean, quiet hotel. The pool area is awesome with the kid pool option. Wish the breakfast option wasn't the same every morning. Some of the staff are cranky and act bothered to be addressed but otherwise it was great. The lady who does the kitchen area in the morning is amazing.

Was hoping to enjoy the hot tub and pool..but the hot tub was out of service for our stay and the pool had loud kids playing around anyway @ 9pm..pool closes at 10 pm. The hot tub was rhe main reason for us deciding to stay here..disappointed.. pool and spa should have adult hours..how else are we to relax?

Overall the room was clean, but they don’t clean high touch items like light switches, remote and door knobs. I cleaned those and my wipe was nasty black. Otherwise it’s a typical 2 star hotel. Breakfast and front desk staff were very nice.

Staff was responsive & kind. We were given a key to a room that already had someone’s things in it, obviously this was corrected quickly. Sheets on the roll away were dirty, comforters on the beds were stained and looked gross. Killed several spiders and bugs in our room. Breakfast was not great but ok. Overall, appearance was clean- just old and needs some updating. Pool was nice and looked pretty clean.

The bedding is dirty. Actual blood on the top sheet. I was also unhappy that when booking a suite the pictures showed a big whirlpool type tub in the corner of the room. No big tup. Standard bathroom and tiny tub. So I paid an extra $60 bucks per night for a couch in the corner.

Great stay. Just 2 negatives. 1. Couch in the room was like a 10 year old couch from a college apartment. 2. Night desk person was lazy and rude. Family came out to visit so we asked if she could turn on lights in the open dining room so we could visit and play cards. It was like pulling teeth to get her to do it and also gave attitude when we asked for a sheet of paper.

The staff were so kind and considerate, the room was emaculent, spacious. A family member of mine died suddenly which was the reason for my short 2 day trip and the lady who was at the front desk knew my nephew who died and expressed her deepest condolences to me and just made my day. I am so happy with everything and would definetly recommend to others. Thank you for your empathy and kindness, it will never be forgotten.

Broken elevator. Broken computer system when we arrived. Only one new employee there. He was very nice but overwhelmed. Because of no computer we were assigned a room which was already taken. We were upgraded to a nicer room. All the employees were great.

We liked that the property was close to a main road for ease in finding it. It neighbored a large corn field, so was quiet except the occasional distant sound of a train. Nothing to disrupt sleep. Air conditioning worked except in the crowded, small fitness room. No fans or cooling in the fitness room, which looked to be 8 square feet. They should take some lounging space from the pools for the gym and add a ceiling fan to cool the room. Nice that they have dumbbells, fitness posters, stair climber, bike and elliptical, just really crowded in there. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate with waffles, eggs, sausage, french toast, yogurt, bagels, oatmeal and cereal as well.

Stayed one night and everything was fine. Check-in was easy and staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a good restaurant right next to the hotel. The free breakfast had several options. No problems at all and would stay here again.

Check in was quick and easy. Hotel was right on main road at the exit we needed so this was nice. Room was large, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok, no variation though. We stayed 3 nights and all 3 mornings exactly the same breakfast. Hot tub was the perfect temperature but always had to ask for towels in the pool area. Last night we were there the room next to us had to have to cops called (not by us). We heard the loud argument in hallway and people chatting with cops. Not long after cops left another argument over whether someone wanted to “be with me anymore”. But that was very short lived as someone said they should leave. Had some good restaurants in Ft.Madison. This was convenient to Nauvoo where we were visiting but learned a lot of other history there too.

Near highway, but couldn’t hear it at all. Luckily we were on this end of Ft Madison as the Mississippi bridge was closed and we had to go through Keokuk to get to Illinois. Nice hotel with very friendly staff.

The breakfast was excellent. The children enjoyed the pool. It was nice that there was a hot tub as well as a kiddie pool for the really little chldren. The room was nice with a desk, shelves, a closet, and drawers as well as a microwave and refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and provided a wonderful rest from the day of travel.
