This property does not live up to the Hampton Inn standard. The interior (particularly the guest rooms) are in need of a big update and refresh.

The room was clean, but housekeeping was insufficient. The breakfast was not very good compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. The pool was disgusting and kind of slimy on the bottom. They can’t help the Crepe Myrtle flowers and leaves, but they are responsible for cleaning the pool. Also there were not towels available at the poolside and we had to use room towels. I felt like asking the hotel staff questions was inconveniencing them. The only helpful staff person we met was the young man working the overnight shift when we checked in on 7/26. The ac in the room was functional.

We booked this room because it was one of the only hotels that would sleep my family of 5. We figured at almost $200 a night it would be a nice clean place. Check in was smooth and easy but as soon as we walked in our room there was a dirty crusty rag sitting on the pull out couch which we were disgusted by. Went to use the restroom and the toilet paper was just sitting on top of the holder with an empty roll sitting in the holder. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. There was handprint smudges all over the mirror closet door with someone’s left over clothes tags in the floor. Then when we went to make the bed for the pull out coach the bed looked as if it had pubic hair on it with some questionable stains and the blankets for it were just thrown up in the closet not folded (I’m guessing not even cleaned) the last straw for us was when we seen a huge cockroach crawling across the floor and that was when we went and asked for a refund. They were helpful and said they would refund us (we haven’t checked yet to see if that went through yet or not) we just expected a more clean place for the money and was exhausted after traveling 10 hours then trying to find a new hotel at 10:00 at night. We ended up finding a place a the Econo Lodge for half the price at $85 and the beds were super comfy and clean and even had a roll away bed to fit all 5 of us. I will never book this hotel again when traveling. Front desk was friendly and helpful but they need to reconsider their housekeeper

The waffle machine had not been cleaned in at least a year. It was honestly disgusting. It did seem like the property was neglected.

Stayed 1 night

There was a line of 6 customers at check in waiting for someone to show up to get us checked in. He finally came with a towel around his neck like he’d been in the pool or workout room. Then we went to our room to find the door wide open. A bit concerning. Once we unloaded we showered after 12 hrs of driving. That felt nice. Turned on tv and it wasn’t connected or broken. Tried to call front desk- phone was dead. So I tried calling from my cell. Got put on hold 15 minutes then disconnected. Tried several more times and no one answered. If we weren’t already in our PJs I would have marched back down there. Decided to just go to bed. One bed squeezed all night. Fun. Then my husband had to shave with no hot water in the sink. Breakfast was fine. No problem there. Upon checkout I gave the young man all the problems we encountered. He was very nice and told us to call Monday as no manager was on duty this weekend. I will but I doubt anyone answers the phone. Very poor experience for an almost $200 night. Would never use this hotel again.
