I booked this place because it was close to JFK and offered free shuttle service. Per their instructions, I called the day before to tell them what time I would arrive. The clerk told me to call when I landed and assured me that the shuttle would arrive within 20 minutes of my call. In reality 20 minutes was an hour and a half. To be fair, it an hour waiting for the shuttle, after I got my luggage. Did I mention it was late at night? The place itself is nice if you don’t mind a 25 inch TV and significant hole in the curtain.

I was looking for a hotel not too expensive to stay close to the airport for an early morning trip. This hotel worked out perfect. It was about 15 minutes from where we needed to park the car to catch our flight. It was clean and plenty of dining options close by I would definitely use them again.

We chose this hotel due to it’s closeness to JFK and where we needed to be. They offered free shuttle service to and from JFKAirport. Upon arrival at JFK Terminal 5 we followed the instructions to the pickup spot and then called them. They REFUSED TO PICK US UP there! We were told to go to where it says to go on Terminal 8! I called a couple of time And Jet Blue spoke to them because my wife can not walk long distances. They completely refused to come to Terminal 5 even though we were giving instructions for pick up there! Thank God that Jet Blue was so kind to get my wife pushed to a terminal with an air train and got us to Terminal 8 and then to the spot for pickup. We were then pickup and the driver said he had to pickup some one at Terminal 4! One of those passengers was confused as she was at Terminal 8 (where we just got picked up) and told to go to terminal 4. She was then mad cause she had come from Terminal 8! What should have been a 20-30 minute trip took over two hours! The hotel services were about par or a little lower, the Traffic was very noisy all night long. Breakfast was very limited!

We used Rockville Centre Hotel as our base of operations while visiting family and friends all over Long Island. Our room was very comfortable, and our bathroom was sparkling clean. We used the pay laundry facility to wash our clothes. Breakfast was typical hotel hot buffet. We availed ourselves of their free shuttle service to the Long Island Railroad station in Rockville Centre and didn't have to walk or use Uber. We'll definitely stay here again!

The staff was all very friendly. I like the convenience of the shuttles for jfk. The room itself was not clean to normal standard. Thankfully I had cleaning wipes with me, because the toilet was disgusting and there was no maid on by the time I got there. Neighborhood seemed nice and safe. Glad I only had to stay one night.

Although room was "clean" and bed comfy, there was a chair that smelled like someone peed on it, carpet was filthy, ie : stained. Hotel served the purpose. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly. They gave bottles of water because they said there was construction and the water may be slightly brown, however, we did not experience any brown water thank goodness. We did use the water to drink and also to brush our teeth.

They do their best with what they have. The furniture looks nothing like the pictures as it is all worn down. The carpet is not appealing or looks clean. Bed and linens were super clean. Hair left in a few places int he bathroom- gross! Marks/stuff/buildup on the ceiling in my room. Fabric chairs in the room had stains on them (2 out of 3 chairs).

The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed after a long flight. The shower was sufficiently powerful and getting hot water was not a problem. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In light traffic, the location was 20 minutes away from JFK airport. There was free shuttle service buy we had to call them from the airport so don't expect them to circulate regularly as do the shuttles from the larger hotel chains. Unfortunately, the air conditioning system in my room was fairly loud so this could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. There was a complimentary breakfast. It was quite basic so don't expect loads of options. I had oatmeal that came from a packet and they had hot water on hand for me to prepare it. Great dining options for lunch and dinner were a short drive away. Also, there was a pharmacy within a 20-minute walk away. We didn't spend much time in our room in the daytime but overall, this property was fine for my short stay.

For the most part we had an uneventful stay. Although the rooms and the property are well kept and clean the window dressings were soiled and the paint around windows had large section hanging off in our room. Our TV was approx. 20 years old and the picture was terrible. Since it was after hours we were told we could switch rooms or wait till morning when maintenance came back in. Tons of empty rooms but they weren't allowed to just grab from another room and we were leaving in the morning. we were not packing our entire room up for a television. Room was pricey and not worth the cost due to our dated amenities.

My older sister and myself needed a comfortable, safe, not-too-expensive place to stay in NYC and this filled the bill. We found no other hotel that offered a shuttle to and from the airport and were comforted when we found many flight crews stayed there on JFK layovers. CJ at the front desk was so personable, friendly, and helpful. Long Island Railroad made it easy to get into Manhattan. I wish I had the need to stay there again. I may just make one up!

Our stay was pleasant, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was terrible, there were omelette’s with no salt and pepper available. My husband chose the omlette labeled bacon and cheese and it had no bacon or cheese in it, instead it had salsa. This needs improvement.

It’s a perfect hotel for me. Quiet, clean, friendly. The staff is so good. They always have a good attitude. The shuttle is easy to find. The only small problem is that the breakfast is a little bit boring. I don’t like it. But it doesn’t matter. I will choose here again the next time I arrive JFK.
