At Courtyard Toledo Airport Holland, travelers frequently praise the friendly staff, quiet and convenient location near restaurants and highways, and useful amenities like the pool, parking, and on-site bistro, while noting the property feels older and could use updates.

Cleanliness feedback is mixed, with some very clean stays contrasted by reports of dusty rooms, stained tubs or carpets, musty odors, or leftover items, and uneven housekeeping or restocking. The room didn't look updated like the pictures online. The price didn't reflect the nothingness of the rented space. Dated carpeting had burn marks, bathroom light was dim, ice machine didn't work, and balcony screen door handle was missing.

Room 335. Sunday Sept. 24. Bed was very comfortable. Having a couch was very nice. A Bistro in lobby was nice but did not take advantage of it. Close to interstate so traffic could be heard. This room was on the end so closest to traffic. Also trains in the distance. Despite these things we slept well after a long day of travel. Elevators were sufficient. Ice machine on our floor did not have ice. TV was quite large but was on the side of the bed so quite awkward. For the price breakfast could have been included. Breakfast was available in the Bistro but prices were far to high for the few offerings.

I was very satisfied with my stay… However, when I got in the room to me, it smelled like stale beer. Once I got settled, I went to throw something away in the garbage can under the desk, and they were empty beer bottles in there then I opened up the refrigerator and there was more beer in there, at least I know where the stale beer smell came from other than that, it was very nice and clean and quiet. Staff was really nice.

The AC in the first room was broken and there was urine stains around the toilet. The second room was better but carpets are dirty, tub was stained. The public areas carpets are dirty. The grounds are very nicely maintained but the building needs repairs and painting where the walls are cracked and broken. This hotel definitely needs some updates and repairs.

The room appeared clean at first glance, but uppn the need to throw away some garbage, we had 2 garage cans with no garbage bags, dirty foot prints on the bathroom floor/tub And the coffee cups/coffee etc were not replenished. The tv had prints and dyst all over it. As well as bedside tables had drink marks and dried up food/drink marks. It was near to impossible to keep the room at a comfortable temp, it was either too warm or top cold. The hotel was booked solid this weekend, and there were no other rooms available, so, because of tbe state of the room, I just cleaned it myself, as i have little faith at this point that housekeeping was going to clean it any better than when they were supposed to the first time!!!

Not a good experience at all, my 16 month old was walking around playing and found somebody's fake nail in the floor and before I could get to her she put it in her mouth and the bathroom is extremely small and full of black mold definitely will not be coming back. The property was easy to get to off of the freeway and was surrounded by places to shop and eat. Staff were very friendly and it truly felt like they happy you were there. Facilities are clean but you could tell that it is on the older side. Nothing out of repair or anything, just the decor. Rooms are small but not unmanageable. Bed was moderately comfortable. Now, for the cons although it is a short list. Breakfast is not included in your stay. They do have a bistro in the lobby and even an egg with toast was $11. IHOP right across the street. My biggest complaint is that the walls are paper thin. You could hear people in the room next to us having a casual conversation and the people in the hallway all night were very loud. I used earplugs and that worked for the most part. There are no charging ports so be prepared.

There is no complimentary breakfast, not even a danish. You can buy breakfast in the hotel, or you can walk next door to Bob Evans. There is also an IHOP very close by. The bed is very firm and made my back hurt the first couple of nights, but apparently, I was getting used to it by the third night because I slept well with no back pain. The hotel is in a very good location, easy to find, quiet, and the area felt quite safe. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, especially when our key card quit working on the third night. She quickly got us new cards.

I have stayed at this hotel many times for work over the past year, but this time there was a situation involving many police, and I was awoken by police so they could search my room. Staff didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or offer money off my stay. I didn't feel safe and felt that the police were not transparent about the situation. It was obviously an active situation that we as guests were not fully made aware of. I will not be returning to this hotel.
