The hotel is absolutely clean and pretty with a great breakfast spread. There are many close food optionsm the only downsides are it is really close to like a refinery or chemical processing plant and there is no pool.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Very good free breakfast. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Only downside was the rather small parking lot, but I was fortunately able to locate a spot to park. Not particularly close to any good restaurants so you will have to dive somewhere to get food, but I nice hotel all around.

Bathroom floor was dirty to the point that your feet were sticky. My husband found a piece of glass embedded in the carpet. Breakfast was cold, wet eggs. Front desk staff told us that the Holiday Inn next door was much nicer.

We spent 5 days at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston. The stay was wonderful; staff were very friendly, courteous, and willing to help with anything they could (directions, identify local restaurants, etc). Breakfast was excellent with options like waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, quiche, oatmeal, cereals, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee, and fruit. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. A small refrigerator, microwave and Keurig were in the room. The bath was also very clean with modern fixtures. We tend to be a little picky when it comes to hotels, but we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The bathroom door was a barn door style and it didn’t close all the way. I like my privacy when in the bathroom. Other than that it’s was a nice room. The breakfast was your typical free breakfast at a hotel.

Pros: Rooms and Facility - Very good. Parking - limited, didnt have enough parking. We checked in late and was difficult to get parking. Staff - very good. Cleanliness- very good. Cons: Got a room facing road, lot of road noise and had difficulty sleeping. AC/ Heater made lot of noise. Food- not great.

I had a job down in Charleston that just required a one day stay but let me tell you this hotel is super nice! Probably one of the best affordable hotels I’ve stayed in a while. The rooms are super clean, WiFi was fast, excellent free breakfast option. 10/10 in my book! Will book here again if I’m down this way! We have been on a road trip and stayed in several different hotels, this was by far the best room layout - separate seating are, microwave/coffee/refrigerator area, plenty of luggage space, lots of bathroom vanity space. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was a stopover for us. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. What I didn’t realize is that it is right next to the train tracks. Thank goodness the train did not blow their horns but they were still noisy.

If I didn’t wake up thinking a train was about to crash through our room at 3:30 in the morning I would have given the comfort rating 4 or 5 stars. This hotel is literally beside operating train tracks. AC was also loud. Otherwise a great hotel.

The customer service at this hotel is beyond amazing. I called a few days before because my scheduled arrival in Charleston was late (midnight) and I was concerned about getting a ride from the airport to the hotel. I spoke with a very nice lady named Lisa who assured me a shuttle would be available. When I arrived at the airport, there was a slight mix up with the shuttle drivers and Lisa ended up driving a shuttle to the airport herself after her shift had ended to make sure I had a ride and didn't leave me hanging! She went way above and beyond and was super nice, and even gave me some excellent recommendations for my trip to Fayetteville and the New River Gorge area. The room was nice and comfy, too, and I had everything I needed. Thank you for the excellent welcome to West Virginia! It was a wonderful experience.

I loved my stay here. We stayed two nights (one day apart) and I was so glad to get back to them for the second night. The hotel was nice, safe, and clean, especially given the rate. The best parts were the amazing staff, throughout. They were kind, helpful and they offered a gluten free, dairy free breakfast option which was probably my favorite part! Having recently gone Gluten and mostly dairy free, it has been hard to find things that accommodate my needs and I recently went to another hotel that had no clue about gluten free options....so thank you! Also, the staff remembered my name, was helpful getting me a ride to the airport and everything else in between. My dad forgot items in his room between our visits and they had them ready for him when he returned. Thank you for a great stay!
