Stayed 1 night

Had my mom to visit the room and the owner tried to charge me additional fee for my mom stopping by for a hour. The place smelt like weed and even worse they try to hide the smell with ungodly amounts of cheap lysol. The rooms have been smoked in for years.. to the point they dont have batteries in the smoke detector. Even tho they are "non smoking"..Stayed only 3 hours the owner acted like he did me a favor by " letting my mom stop by wo charging me ?" there was a fight at the pool. Someone was recording kids at the pool thats how the fight started. The owner was cleaning urine off a mattress in the parking area right on the pool fence! I watched them carry it back into a room. Broken toilets behind the building which is the veiw from the pool not just one or two bit a whole palle.. I can't imagine what would happen if we stayed longer. Hotels.com wouldn't refund even tho we checked out at 7pm bc the place was gross had to do a charge back to get my money back...

They did accommodate a very early check in for an additional small fee. The initial towels were stained. The room smelled of excessive air fresher, I have asthma so it was bothersome. May not bother everyone. You have to return used towels before they will give you more. Signage is not available to indicate this so it can be somewhat inconvenient. Overall, the accommodations suited there purpose. I was in town for a funeral. However, in the future, I will probably consider somewhere else

Stayed 1 night

Arrived at 11:30 pm after a long drive. Was checked in by the nice lady at the desk, and we went to our room. We heard another customer complaining about bed bugs so we went to investigate our room. No bugs but we found yellow stains and hair on the sheets, filthy walls and stained pillows and comforters. The room smelled like smoke and my son has asthma so there was no way we were staying. We returned to the desk and waited but the lady was helping the bedbug room and no one was at the desk. After 25 minutes, we left the keys and a note and bailed. Due to a HS football camp in town, we got the only available room which was twice as much as this hotel. But, it was 1:30 a.m. and we had to get some sleep. While checking into the new hotel, the nice lady called and apologized. She said she was so sorry but could not refund our money since I had used Expedia. She told me to call them and ask for a refund and apologized again. I felt bad bc she's not the manager and not in charge of keeping the rooms clean or buying new sheets! Anyway, I just got off the phone with Expedia and they did refund my $ after calling and verifying our situation with her. They also gave me extra points for the inconvenience. It's a shame because it's very close to the college campus we were going to and looks very cute from the outside, but do not let it fool you! I hope the night time manager is able to find a job at a reputable hotel because she was only good part of this whole interaction. BEWARE!

Clean and modern room. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a rock after a long day of travel. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the coffee was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.
