Motel 6 Sacramento, Ca - Downtown

TV wouldn't hook up to Wi-Fi even though it had it then I find out that as long as I paid $5 more it would after I was already checking out they had one towel the beds are like rocks no shampoo packets no conditioner packets one bar soap no microwave no refrigerator

Was a smooth and easy process. Ice machine was out of service though

We stayed here because it was near the Aftershock music festival. The room was the worst motel 6 ever. Drapes torn to where people could see into your room. The sheets had many, and I mean many burn holes in them. The bath towels were paper thin and the houskeeping people had very nasty attitudes. The motel was oversold and there not enough parking avaliable. On the positive side, the aircon worked well, the tv had good channel selection, there was a pancake house directly across the street and there was a dedicated pet area with bags.

Was a convenient place to where we went and we just stayed the one night The ice machine was broke Otherwise it was a good stay

Omg I'm not really to shocked but damn it was off the hook I was in room 129 and it's in the way back last room in the alley all night loud talking loud fighting and a lot of shady characters on drugs hanging on stairs and roaming in alley security was a joke he looked scared asking people hanging on stairs to go by the pool area the pool is gone it's filled in with dirt. Bummer.lobby was locked up only window open with bullet proof glass,for obvious reasons. My room was filthy down right dirty the housekeeping is not doing their jobs right apparently they don't know how to housekeep.training them.right could help. Bathroom had black mold towel rods fell off when I hung the dingy towel in it.i had to go to dollar tree get cleaning supplies to clean the room better then it was. Bed was gross. Didn't see bed bugs but saw 1 baby cockroach.

It would be nice to have at least one or the other inside of the rooms: Microwave/refrigerator . I prefer a microwave.

It was the perfect area just inconvenient there was no microwave to warm up food. No refrigerator No bathtub only shower not what we were expecting.

There is very limited items, not even tooth brushes or microwave or fridge. The beds were terrible, making terrible noise whenever anyone moves. The kind checkin staff was the only good element about this place. She's really happy and kind, even when we checked in late at night. There were people fighting next door the night we were there, and we could hear almost everything. It was very hectic, noisy, and the rooms seem to have 0 soundproof whatsoever.

The room was in fairly good condition. Thhe air con worked well. The bed sheets had stains and cigarette burns all over. The towels thin and worn out. The fridge worked well. The staff was not friendly or service oriented. They do not have enough parking for customers. They had an ihop across the street that was convenient. Would never have stayed here but it was close to an event at Discovery Park. Because of the Aftershock concert, rooms were well over $200 per night, for a one star motel.

The counter person went above and beyond to help because there was no MICROWAVE, REFRIGERATOR, ICE MACHINE DIDN'T WORK BATHROOM SHOWER HEAD FELL OFF AND HIT MY BOYFRIEND ON THE HEAD WHILE TAKING A SHOWER. THE DOOR SEEMED LIKE IT WOULDN'T CLOS ALL THE WAS THANK GOD FOR THE LATCH ON THE DOOR AND MY BOYFRIEND BEING THERE WITH ME. AND NO SWIMMING POOL. BOO ON MOTEL 6. AND COULDN'T GET A RECEIPT FOR THAT NIGHTS STAY.

The bathroom shower had mold around the tub bed was shaking smells like cigarettes

I got absolutely ate up by bed bugs. This place should be shut down. It’s been a nightmare!

The room we stayed in had flies and some other type of small bugs in the bathroom. The towels had red/orange stains on them. The staff was nice but the room was not up to par.

The whole place was skeevy. There were creepy looking people sitting outside of rooms and roaming the parking lot. The property reeked of cigarettes. It was noisy, all night long. I called about loud music and nothing was done about it. The mattress was very thin. There was a hole in the curtain that was plugged with tissue. The AC vent was caked full of dust, making the room smell dirty, and was very loud.

One of my most uncomfortable stay. Bed sheets are not that clean & they are smelly and I got bug bites while staying there for the night.

I was scheduled to check in at 3pm. I was not allowed to check in until 7pm! The property is filthy. Garbage everywhere in piles and homeless people digging through it. The rooms are honestly close to a health hazard. I had to borrow a broom to sweep the floors of food and cigarettes. The walls and door were disgusting. Dirt and grime are on all surfaces and walls. My AC did not work. When I notified the front desk, the woman was rude and tried to make me feel l was at fault. This hotel should not be open. Its dangerous, dirty, service is poor and the property allows homeless to loiter.

Disgusting rotted soggy shower floor. When I pulled up the police were arresting someone. Shouting all night. Filthy room-hair, dirt on sheets and all over floor. AC unit disgusting. Possible semen on shower door.

Front desk staff were super nice but getting into the room was the worse. Super dirty , we got a none smoking room. Seem like it didn’t matter. Smelled like cigarette all night. Hotel I don’t plan on going back to.

My fire alarm was faulty and it set off the fire alarms in 3 others rooms, because they were hard wired on the same circuit. I was in the shower when it happened and had to quickly dress and get my dogs in the car to wait until the fire department came to figure out what was wrong. I know it was a fluke, but I wish they'd have offered a discount. I was exhausted at the time and didn't think to ask. Still, I needed a place to crash with my dogs on short notice while on a roadtrip, and for one night, it was fine. It's kinda rundown, the TV screen was broken but watchable, it could've been cleaner, but the bed was comfortable enough and didn't seem to have bedbugs when I pulled the sheets back, and the water pressure in the shower was AMAZING.

The rate was fair for the value, however the condition of the room and property were not at par. The standing shower was full of patched up work on the walls and the floors. Then the property was surrounded by people who wonder around the streets all night who were screaming at each other. People who have cars played their music really loud, even after pass midnite

Convenient place close to downtown area. A bit noise at night. Price is ok compared to other nearby places. The T.V. didn't work and rooms don't have a phone to call front desk so if you need something to be fixed you'll have to walk to the front desk.

The room was a stripped down bare minimum room. Nothing extra 1 pillow each and only 1 blanket. No refrigerator. Price was jacked up because it was the festival weekend. On line the room was $69.00 regular price per night! I paid $125.00 per night plus the $50.00 . I wish it wasn't legal to raise prices for special events but they reamed me. To me the place looked like they were stripping it down to demolish it and changed their mind because of Aftershock!! No table one chair. Cost almost $600.00 for a $300.00 room! I will plan better for next year's trip to Aftershock

The door of the room seemed like it was broken. It locked but there was a lot of air coming in and y can hear everything outside. And I say 2 rats go into one of the maintenance closets. Also the hotel worker was very unclear about parking.

I called the front desk and explained the situation to, you guessed it, Sonia. I reminded her that I had a broken leg and asked if someone could come up to reactivate my key or let me into my room. I was there for 6 nights and despite asking multiple times I never got housekeeping to come by. I had to go ask for clean towels, buy my own toilet paper, and clean the room. There was mold around the shower, the air filters were broken and shoved into the unit, and the door barely closed so it felt insecure every night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Awful. The front desk agent needs to quit her job since hates it so much. Super rude. Might wanna clean up the urine under stairs as well.

Angelica at the property provided excellent customer service it was really great and it was a wonderful experience

Felt unsafe the whole time with homeless and people just hanging and chilling by the entrance stairs. The parking areas is open and not gated so anyone can come in and out including break in to cars so be careful. The staff was decent and check in was easy.

Lots of traffic and police. Not really safe to be outside at night as a female by yourself. But otherwise great. And Expedia made it super easy. It took 2 min to check in.

I would not shop anywhere near here. The neighborhood generally felt unsafe to walk around, especially at night

The lobby was locked at 6 pm and I had to check-in via those security windows with a pass-thru tray at the bottom. That should tell you how safe the area is. At least the door locked securely and the water got warm enough. Surpringly the shower was pleasant, especially for a corner triangular one. Neighborhood felt a little sketch, the property had litter here and there, the room was not well maintained and the "non-smoking" room have definitely been smoked in by others. We had a one queen bed room, and it was snuuuug. Would NOT stay at this property. 4 nights in a different Motel 6 is a different town (Lodi, CA) ....WAAAAY BETTER.

The motel rooms are real nice and clean and updated. Very cute. What I didn’t like was we only had a thin blanket and sheet. No comforter. It was quite loud all night. Between cars coming in booming their music to people up all hours of the night talking outside loudly. Some noise is to be expected since motel is by busy streets and freeway. Nice having IHOP across the street

Small room with only two towels for three of us. Bed were comfortable. Usb chargers were broken. No parking available in lot. Had to park in random parking lot across the street. Ihop was close and open 24hours. That was a plus. A lot of homeless sleep around the property.

I reserved a single queen because I'm disabled and have a service animal. I did not ask for a disabled room because I wanted to soak in a tub. I don't know why there was a disabled shower because there would not be enough room for use of mobility devices. I was not made aware there was a pet deposit and that they only accept credit/debit cards. I had cash and Google pay. In the morning, by the time I went to get a cup of coffee, they were out and wouldn't make more. When I got back to my room, my key card had been deactivated hours before check out time and I had to go back to the office to get it reactivated so I could get my stuff! Saw a few cockroaches, too.
