Across many reviews, Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Lake George stands out for very clean rooms, friendly staff, a walkable location near the village, and a popular heated covered pool with family amenities that guests appreciate.
Several guests also highlighted good value, straightforward check‑in and check‑out, and spacious townhouse options for families. Recurring downsides include dated decor in places, thin walls or noisy air conditioners, spotty Wi‑Fi, tight parking when full, and a lack of in‑room microwaves. Expect a clean, budget‑friendly, family‑oriented stay.

The Staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the cable tv system worked fine. Only two negative comments. When the motel is full, parking in the areas allowed is tough. Parking passes were given out but I don't know if there were enough spaces to match the number of passes dispensed. On below-full nights, the parking was fine. The three steps leading to my room (#45) from the parking lot needed railings to help people. The steps were higher than normal and railings would definitely help. Otherwise, my stay was enjoyable !!!

Parking is very tight. Difficult for a full size vehicle, no handicapped parking. Room was nice, shower was AWESOME. Room was clean other than the carpet which needed a good shampoo or replacement. It was inexpensive indoor / out door carpet. No microwave in room. Community use microwave outside by the ice machine. Other guests were very pleasant. No hot tub but a nice pool. Pool water very warm. No pool towels. Would we stay here again. Yes. Great location.

Clean room, very nice shower, TV with lots of channels if you need it, convenient location within walking distance to downtown Lake George (not located on the lake side). Sufficient parking in the front or back on first-come-first-serve basis. Very nice swimming pool inside a glass hut that keeps it bright and protects it from elements including cool air. Playground for kids including table tennis table. This was our 2nd stay and again it was good.

The white sheets had stains on them. It looked like dried blood. The rug had stains all over them, Air conditioner (wall unit) had paper towels stuffed around it. The room could use an overall update. I reported the sheets and she said she would tell the owners.

We were upgraded from a 2 room suite to a 3 bed/2 bath townhouse...rooms were huge! Bathroom door knob was tricky and TP holder was broken but those were just minor issues. Beds very comfortable, couches not so much. TVs were in each bedroom and living room but seemed small only because the rooms were big. Staff very personable and promptly called us after checkout to say we left some items behind.

This was, without a doubt, the most tidy and clean room I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was also so helpful and accommodating and quick to help out with my requests. I could hear some traffic and other tenants but it didn’t wake me once I fell asleep. The picture Expedia posted was misleading so just make sure you get the room you want! I will absolutely stay here again.

Booked online last minute (an hour before arrival) which was great! For a quick spontaneous 2 night last minute trip it was a great spot. Small room, but cute and enough for the short amount of time for a couple! Location was very convenient whether you were walking or driving. I would stay again. The only downside for me was the room felt very damp and had a “damp” “wet” smell I couldn’t get rid of even with the window open. The bed also had a damp feeling. The vending machine had run out of water bottles and wasn’t replenished for the 2 days we were there. But other than that it was very okay! :)

The swimming pool was excessively chlorinated . Our eyes burnt horribly like never before and we have our own pool and swim in chlorinated water 4 or 5 times a week in Nicaragua .Our eyes burnt for hours afterward anx drops only helped for a few seconds . Even after rinsing in the shower they still burned . Googled the issue and it said drops wouldn't help because a coating on our eyes was burned off and takes time for the eyes to restore it . Also , the chlorine bleached out mt black underwear and my wifes black shirt turned a medium brown except the seam remained black . Advised the office and they said the pool is auto injected with chlorine . Maybe because the pool was not used for a number of day it accumulated . Office said they would look into but NEVER got back to us . We did not use the pool again for 3 more days of our stay ,but we chose this placed because of the enclosed pool in fall weather .

Everything about my stay here was fantastic. Check-in was seamless and took less than 5 minutes. My parents are elderly and require a handicap accessible room. The room was perfect and easy to navigate with a walker. The Trolley to downtown stopped at the end of the driveway and was easy on easy off. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were all helpful and friendly. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, close to everything and it really was a "best value". I will happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay close to everything without breaking the bank.

Wife and I stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was great!! David the owner was very friendly and accommodating. It didn't hurt he was a Yankees fan! The room was clean and comfortable. We requested the room be tidied up on our 2nd full day and it was done within the hour while we had breakfast across the street. Location is on the north end of Lake George Village...well within walking distance. Definitely would stay there again!!

Staff was very accommodating. We stayed in one of the townhouses, it had 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Had a well equipped kitchen and the grocery store is about a block away. Although this location is on the upper end of town it is very accessible and just a quick ramp off of 87. The location is still very walkable through town and down to the water. We would definitely choose this location again.

Property and room was clean. Customer service and maid service did great job. Probably only Complaint is I could hear the people above us here and there but nothing crazy. Couldn’t hear people next door which was great. Very convenient location walking distance to downtown and quick 5 min drive to million dollar beach. Really appreciated the cleanliness of the property.
