Room wasn’t ready for guests. 1.One key did not work 90% of time, clerk finished folding towels before coming to help open door when I arrived, had to wait in hall for him 2. Ice & laundry machine +store room across hall very loud & noisy 3. A/C cool selection light was missing 4. Room smelled musty 5. Iron cord too short to reach board 6. TV was not set up, had no signal 7. Construction workers hanging out around pool area, sitting on tailgate eating meals 8. TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSH PROPERLY!!! - just awful not enough water in tank to flush, overflow tube too short. It took 5 times of flush then wait to fill tank. Rediculous!!!

There were many shortcomings. Room itself was acceptable. Bed was comfortable. There was a shampoo dispenser in the shower that was empty. As soon as breakfast time was over, we were run out of the breakfast area. The laundry room door was never closed and it was noisy. TV schedule was torn and damaged. Notepad was used. Microwave turntable didn’t fit properly. The breakfast was missing several items. Thirty minutes prior to the end of serving time, there were no eggs left, no syrup, very little waffle batter. Syrup was still empty on day 2. There were no paper towels in the public restroom. The chairs by the pool were so rusted out that one broke when someone sat in it. Overall for the price, this was less than what we expected. empty.

We checked in and found our room with bugs on the mattress and on the floor. The towels were wet. The bath mat was also soaking wet. The door would not latch. They gave us another room. The next day we went swimming and the hot tube was nasty and the bathroom was out of service. There were no pool towels so went to the front to ask for pool towel and they expected us to use our room towel that don’t dry for the pool and to dry off after our shower. They also attempted to close the breakfast down early and turned the lights out on us. They were very rude. Avoid this place.

We asked 3 times for extra blankets for the pullout couch and all 3 times they told us they were doing laundry and didn’t have any. My kids were forced to sleep with just sheets. The girls at the front desk were always on their cell phones everytime we came down. We have a child that is still in diapers and we’re forced to keep several dirty diapers in the bathroom because the house keepers never came by to clean the room or just take the trash. There were no big trash cans on the 4th floor for us to take the trash out ourselves. The pool was closed and the breakfast was terrible.

The hotel could not notify us they were painting, I have breathing issues, and all the windows were so badly covered we had no sun, the bathroom had a used bar of soap in the shower, the entire hotel smelled musty and all of our clothes felt damp and the shower steam never displated, the entire experience was horrible and unfortunately we did not have another option or we would never have stayed there.

Booked this trip for a family gathering thru Hotels.com. When arrived at hotel the clerk said had not received confirmation/payment from Hotels.com and charged us again at a higher rate. Returned home to find out both charges were billed. Contacted hotel and the manager was 0 help. Contacted Hotels.com and after they contacted hotel and were told they could not issue refund Hotels.com refunded their charge. Hotel clerk and manager were both unfriendly and unhelpful. Did not even give me a receipt at checkout. This hotel used to be under another major chain (BW) but since changed to Comfort Inn it's hospitality has plunged. Will NOT be staying there again.

Air conditioner filter has not been cleaned in a year. Yes, you need to do that. I was not aware of this being a smoking hotel. The smoke stench is disgusting. The waffle batter was spoiled and sour. I found this out when my breakfast waffle was as sour as a lemon. Otherwise this could be a good hotel.
