What guests think

Many reviews praise cleanliness, value, and a generally quiet, safe feel at Oasis Inn Sacramento- Elk Grove, helped by its location off Highway 99 beside the CHP, along with friendly staff and straightforward check in for a budget stay.

Rooms are small but recently updated, typically include a fridge and microwave, with recurring downsides including noisy A/C and several reports of showers being hard to use, lacking hot water, or not working. Facilities are basic with easy parking and well‑lit grounds; the pool is noted as closed, removed, or under construction in several reviews, and breakfast is a very light grab‑and‑go of coffee and packaged pastries, with no in‑room coffee makers. Best for short, budget stops rather than full service stays.

This property is right off hwy 99. The location is great, situated right next to highway patrol building. Pleasantly surprised at how cheap and nice it was!! Continental breakfast was packaged muffins, oatmeal, and cinnamon rolls. They had juice from a dispenser, fresh coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The host was pleasant. The room was also quiet.

Stayed for 2 nights. First night was smooth and peaceful, second night got some weird people staying on he upper floor that kept making super loud "thud" noises throughout the night. The room was nice, everything is clean, adequate, convenient. Really nice to have a shower with provided soap and shampoo/conditioner. Definitely would be nicer with a bidet for the toilet, but we\'re not Japan, so it\'s OK. Very typical bed and mattress, on the firmer side. Only issue was that one of the vending machine yoinked my 3 dollars and didn\'t give me my water bottle. Owner might want to fix that. Other than that, the stay was good.

We were given a room initially which had a puddle of water on the floor and some dirty stains on the walls. Then upon request, I was given another room as a replacement and in that room, the toilet wasn't clean and we could see stains deep inside which was disgusting. We have no other choice but to stay since there is no refund as per their policy. :(

The property had prostitutes checking in. One burned out motel room upstairs in this condition for one year. People knocking on our door in late hours. Party going on next door and causing a lot of noise. Room was dirty and smelled musty and like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Floor was hot causing room to be uncomfortably hot and when running air conditioning, it smelled.

A reasonably priced quiet clean room. Not a room for bringing random people in and out but if you're trying to spend some intimate time with a someone else, it does the job. Friendly staff. Shower controls are a bit off the norm. Trust me they work but if you're having trouble, ask staff.

We stayed here twice in the past 12 months, primarily for its affordability and secondly, for its overall cleanliness - both inside the room and the surroundings. The check-in process takes time because the staff requires all the necessary IDs for all the occupants in the room. This is for added security, but the process is stressful to a certain degree, The shower stall is no-frills but clean and with good water pressure for both hot & cold taps. All towels are clean, relatively new, but not too fluffy. We also like that the rooms have a fridge, microwave, and powerful, user-controllable A/C units. The flat TV is an old model, and cable channels are limited. The double bed is firm, and the linens are clean, but the pillows are just okay. Bring extras with you if you want to snuggle on more pillows. The location is just off Highway 99, and there are plenty of fast-food joints nearby, although this place has two (2) "vendos" for drinks and quick snacks. Overall, you'll like the place for its good value, and all you need is a decent place to sleep, shower & reheat your to-go lunch or dinner after your sorties outside.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this motel. Checking in, the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Very nice friendly vibe. It’s an older property, but the room was clean and everything worked properly. Bathroom and plumbing in great condition. Also grounds are well-maintained. I had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable and pillows were great. They have very strict rules about having guests late at night and it’s a good thing. Grab and go breakfast was exactly what you need for a light grab and go, coffee and a cinnamon roll kind of thing. The highway patrol office next-door gives a sense of security. For a budget friendly motel it ticks all the boxes and I will definitely stay again. Actually, I would dare to say that this is one of the best budget motel stays I’ve ever had in my life. Thanks.

I was traveling alone and searched for a place where I could park near my room. This fit the bill. The area in general feels a little sketchy but the Oasis Inn is next to the Sherrif's Department Office. It seems to be largely a residential motel but it was quiet and VERY clean. The Inn is older but well maintained and the property is cheerily landscaped all around with lots of healthy blooming plants. If I needed to stay in the area again, I would definitely consider the Oasis Inn.
