Great beach area in Mazatlan, pools are very well maintained and clean. Very nice

In general the hotel was clean and comfortable, the lack of chairs around the pools and the rude people who reserved their chairs and not occupying them was annoying. The pool area bars were closed most of the time. I ended up spending most of my time away from the hotel and when I was at the hotel I just brought my own drinks.

Valet parking is the only option. Very inconvenient and time consuming. nit picky on room amenities- charge for bottled water and coffee in the room.

I had a lovely deluxe room with partial ocean view overlooking the festive hotel lawn. Ordered room service, used the jacuzzis and warm wading pool, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Having beach access, resort amenities, and the Malecón right outside made for a great experience.

Part of our party was disturbed by construction noise and certain areas of hotel were unavailable due to construction. Also, the restaurant defaulted the credit card charges to dollars rather than pesos (and charged a 5% conversion fee)

Hotel remodelado, con áreas verdes bien cuidadas, la habitación agradable, le falta un poco de limpieza. El área de las albercas limpia. No tiene playa, aunque está a la orilla del mar. Demasiado ruido después de mediodía y hasta entrada la noche. El estacionamiento no es del hotel y cobran una tarifa extra por día. El personal en general es atento.

Propiedad remodelada , muy linda . Cuartos muy amplios y quizás lo más importante : alberca tibia ya que tienen calefacción y en esta época de frío es rico poder meterse con la familia . Áreas comunes muy amplias y lindas y precio muy accesible . Lo mejor de la zona dorada

La habitación se mantiene limpia, pero aveces el aire acondicionado gotea y deja un charco en el piso, pero al reportarlo lo arreglaron y limpiaron de inmediato

Good location in Mazatlan. Hotel is very dated. Big rooms but, musty smell. Pillows had a very strong smell like they were left in the washer for days. Air conditioner was very loud. Took two visits from the repairman guy to get it to work. Awful noise never was fixed.

Staff showed up at 9:30 to clean the room prior to check out. Check in process was very long. Lots of people standing around looking confused. Balcony and view were excellent. Room very clean and comfortable beds

The bed sheets smelled bad. Bathroom was dirty. Doors didn’t close properly.

This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We booked a family suite at The Inn at Mazatlán for our vacation with our two kids, my husband, and my mom, expecting something comfortable and family-friendly. Instead, we were hit with a nightmare. The first room we were given was full of mosquitoes, literally flying around and biting us. The room also had a terrible moldy/musty smell that made it hard to breathe. We complained immediately, and while the staff wasn’t rude, they didn’t do much to fix the situation. They moved us to a second-floor room, but it was just as bad, same awful smell, and still had bugs. To make matters worse, the toilet in that room was clogged. I asked to be moved again and was shown multiple other rooms — all of them had the same terrible odor. Clearly, this is a major issue with their HVAC system, and the entire hotel feels like it’s overdue for a deep cleaning. The front desk kept telling me the only thing they could offer was “the same room on a different floor.” It was obvious that this is just how the whole hotel is- not clean, not comfortable, and definitely not what we paid for. We couldn’t relax at all, and I wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free. Don’t be fooled by the pictures online. This place needs serious maintenance and accountability. I rarely write reviews, but travelers deserve to know the truth.

La habitación muy limpia pero tenia olor a humedad

The property needs a lot of maintenance, there’s areas where is unsafe due to the poor maintence. Patio sliding door doesn’t even close, that’s a big concern if you are in the 4 floor and with kid's. If you don has they won’t clean your room. At the hallways fills of trash. The water that they use to mop the room stinks leaving the room with a really bad smell. The bathroom faucets instead of replacing it they just paint it. Door hinges full of corrosion. Furniture at the room really dirty, supposed to be white but it was gray already.

The hotel has been recently bought by a new owner- lots of noise, dirt and construction going on- while that means improvements and upgrades it was very poorly handled. 40% occupancy could have allowed them to stage the construction and given us -n the guests much better experience. We had cockroaches in our room/ have been to Mazatlan 17 times- a first and were lied to by a staff member about our ability to take an Uber to the airport- shame on you. I will not be staying there again

Good access to the beach and public transportation. The maid for our room was awesome. Staff was always helpful. Internet worked flawlessly. Our room was in the tower and was tired. Street noise was problematic as we came to hear the ocean and it was obscured by road noise. However, we did get a front row seat to the beautiful Mazatlán sunsets. Would have preferred a room in the newer part of the hotel so when walking to the pool area one would not have to walk through the lobby.

We liked the proximity to things and the hotel was on a good stretch of beach. The hotel is tired and needs some updating and TLC. Everything from the beds to the kitchenette to the showers were just a little rough and worn. The staff were friendly enough which was nice. The food in the restaurant was good-not amazing but good. We declined the time share breakfast invite the first day and they left us alone after that- which was also much appreciated. There is a lot of Banda music in the area in front of the hotel on the beach. A lot. The only time you get a reprieve is when the tide is high-which happens twice per day. Thank goodness. But the area is great and close to lots of restaurants and things so I would stay here again.

Clean hotel, good service, big rooms but City view rooms are expose to the main street vehicles with high volume music playing.

The first room we had was old in need of repairs , run down older side of property! The next room wasnt much better sliding door lock was missing,safe was laying in closet not secured to shelf or anything else, front door wasnt screwed to frame, huge gaps all around door in need of alot of maintenance!

The inn mazatlan! Both my husband and I had a great experience. The luxury ocean front view room was clean/spacious/comfortable with an amazing view! Their pool area is amazing you are only steps away from the beach. What really stood out was the staff Everyone I interacted with from valet, front desk to housekeeping — was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our pool waiter Luis is amazing he truly offers great customer service and he really made us feel welcomed. The location is conveniently located in the zona dorada area which has many restaurants, shops. It’s about a 15minute walk to letras de mazatlan if that’s helpful to anyone. There’s tons of vendors literally steps away from the pool Overall, I’d definitely recommend THE INN to anyone looking for a modern friendly staff personnel that will make your stay a pleasure able one I’ll gladly return on my next visit! The pool staff were horrible. We've stayed here for years and never had such lack of service. Yu can tell the staff is definitely not happy and they seem to be short staffed. But to get a drink or meals, you had to always hunt down an employee. They rarely followed up with us to see if we wanted another. The only time they were quick to arrive was when they saw us packing up to leave. Also, my room smelled horrible. It was a mold, chemical smell. I mentioned it to them and nothing was done and this was in the remodeled section. We are supposed to stay there in November and we are re thinking our plans.

The maid service was not as good as it should have been. We complained several times that the soap dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work. Never fixed.

Safe as good but battery indicator would not stop beeping even after the battery was replaced. Too many people reserving lounge chairs by the pool all day and not using them. Lobby and grounds were clean and nicely decorated.

Costumer service is bad the check in was smooth but lady at front desk very rude they are not polite

Firstly, I just want to say that the staff at this property were so friendly & helpful. The restaurant/pool staff always made sure we had exactly what we wanted and checked on us frequently. The bellhops were quick to help w/luggage, groceries & calling for transportation. We read that the area was noisy so we expected that! Take ear plugs! It wasn't every night but on the weekends you could hear the cars on the street. All in all it wasn't too bad & in no way affected our stay. The property itself was clean. We felt VERY safe. The one downside was the smaller restaurant out by the pool was not open. Somewhat of a let down as we were hoping to get some lunch out there by the pool. Regarding the rooms, we had a 1 bedroom ocean front. The view was amazing. The room was cleaned and fresh every day. We appreciated that!! It is in need of an upgrade. Everything is a bit outdated. Even something as easy as newer kitchen appliances, cook ware, couch... small things make a huge difference. A huge shout out to Juan at Papagayo!! he was amazing and took care of all our drink needs. Also, the restaurant is great!

Property was in a great location, on the bus routes, making us mobile for our entire months stay. The manager, Jose Ornelas accommodated us with a one bed room,full kitchen. Thank you sir. The staff at the front desk and the bell boys were at our beckoning, 24/7, and all maintenance issue were immediate, if not sooner. We cannot say enough good about how they treated us. Thank you desk clerk’s Gabriela, Guilberto, Paulina, Teresita, Fernando, Zumaava, Cesar and anyone I may have missed. Thanks also to the bell boys Guillermo, Alfonzo, Samuel, Adrian, Carlos, and anyone I may have missed. A really special thank you goes to our housekeeper Katherine. What a sweetheart of a young lady. We appreciated everything Katherine did for us. We spoke very little Spanish and Katherine spoke minimal English yet we had no trouble communicating. We will return to The Inn for an even longer stay in 2026.

An older hotel and certainly dated, but clean, great service, location

Great place in the middle of all the action

Location was great with lots of dining and shops, easy to get places. The property itself is older and needs an update. Not terrible, just old. Views are wonderful but the street out front is LOUD - thankfully the AC is loud enough to drown out most of it. Great to have the option for the airport shuttle (extra), and the staff was helpful. Restaurant onsite was ok, pools were nice, beach access great, and the locals are wonderful. Would stay again if we could get one of their remodeled units.

The Inn was a perfect location and central to all the restaurants and the beach. The pool and the beach were perfect temperature. November is the best time to go and best weather!

I wasn’t impressed with this property nothing special and the drinks where watered down heavily even after telling waiter of situation same result notified front desk at check out felt like they didn’t care no one wanted to fix the situation of a decent drink or compensate for drinks I’m not a heavy drinker but come on if I ordered a drink I want a drink not juice
