At Holiday Inn Augusta West I-20 by IHG, travelers consistently praise very clean rooms, friendly staff, and a standout hot breakfast with attentive service, while noting convenient access off I-20 and a generally quiet, safe setting.

The indoor pool is a plus, but the former hot tub is gone and elevators are often slow or out of service. Rooms are usually spacious and comfortable, though some report worn carpets, minor maintenance issues, occasional odors, and sporadic low water pressure or noise near elevators. Overall, this is a solid stop for road trips and Fort Gordon visits, with strong amenities and occasional operational quirks.

We got in late after a long drive, and we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel restaurant was open late. We had salads with grilled chicken that were large and delicious. The bartender was great! The free breakfast the next morning was great, too. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Website pictures need to be updated. It was a pleasant hotel but my decision to stay here was the picture of the indoor pool and hot tub. Come to find out the hot tub no longer exists. I would have chosen a cheaper option if I had known this. Also I had a 2 night stay and only received a breakfast voucher for one day.

The staff were very professional and very courteous. We enjoyed the accommodations and the the two nights we stayed. We loved the breakfast buffet in the morning, so much to choose from. We also got to have a drink at the bar and order from the menu in the restaurant on-site. Noticed a lot of items were not available on the menu but what we ordered made up for it. We will be back in six months

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. M at the front desk on Saturday March 15 went out of his way to help me out. He printed my flight tickets, and even took a pair of clothing to dry for me before my flight.. (coffee spill) The pool was great! Very clean and enjoyable! Even the security guard outside on Thursday night checked on me to see if I was OK while out watching the eclipse. Would definitely stay at this holiday Inn again thank you.

My husband and I have stayed at quite a few Hotels in this price range. but we were pleasantly surprised by the sheer size of room 207. It was so open and inviting. It was clean and quiet. While I didn’t venture too far out of the room, my husband did. The staff was friendly, courteous and went out of their way to insure we were happy. It’s sometimes in the little things that we draw our conclusions. But, everything was great! I cannot tell you the last time we have stayed at a Holiday Inn or any Hotel that everything was so good.

Unfortunately the room I stayed in must’ve been directly below some mechanical equipment on the roof. Very hard to sleep with that sound all night. Only reason I even booked the hotel room was to get a decent amount of sleep. That didn’t go so well.
