The property sits among redwood trees and is beautiful and clean. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night. The reason i am giving it a 4 rating is because the website lists a grill and picnic table under cabin accommodations. We expected them to be at our cabin. They are not. There is a grill for the cabins to share about 80 feet from our cabin. There was no picnic table by the grill so there was no place to put anything. There was another grill even further away in another part of the campground but that was meant for larger parties. We had bought enough food to cook for 2 days and ended up throwing alot of it out because it just wasn't a pleasant place to grill.

Gorgeous space in the Redwoods. The cabin was clean, parking out front, and comfortable. We enjoyed wandering the whole site and sitting on the deck enjoying a local beverage. Highly recommend ... we'll be back and stay longer next time to visit more of the area.

We stayed in a cabin for 4 nights while visiting Redwood National Park. Our cabin was perfect for our family. It was very clean and came with all that we would need. We had a small fridge, microwave and all dishes to have breakfast in our cabin. Parking was right in front. The kids enjoyed the small playground and field area, as well as walking around the grounds. You are right near all the dining options and grocery store in Trinidad. We had really nice meals in town. Depending on where you are going in the Redwoods you are between 20-75 minutes away, but the drive is beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here!

Lovely rustic cabin, friendly staff, peaceful and quiet indoors and out. Cute little check in area with a small store, but no milk! Two bathrooms but better if only one shower is operating at a time. Otherwise the hot water can turn off suddenly. Wonderful kitchen, dining area and lovely porches.

We stayed in a cabin and it was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Only bad thing and it’s nothing that they can fix easily, is the location of the bathroom. It’s in the front area and in front of one of the beds. There was no fan and my son dropped a deadly dump and there’s no way to get away from the smell if you’re in that bed. I would come back the next time I’m in town.

Over all stay. Started with a delightful young lady who checked us in. The cabin was a surprise. It was modern, had all the amenities, a comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. It was spotlessly clean! Did not disappoint. The WiFi was a bit sketchy, but you don’t come to the forest to look at the internet!

Great little cabin in the forest. The many cabins are near one another but it was very quiet. We enjoyed strolling amongst the big trees and driving the short distance to the little town of Trinidad. One note: no bathroom sink in our cabin, so all handwashing, teeth brushing etc. has to be done at the kitchenette sink.

The cabin was very quaint and set in a grove of redwoods. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the wrap around deck was nice to sit outdoors and enjoy nature. It stated it had a kitchen but there was no cooktop to boil water for noodles. The fridge was a tiny cube. The hot water was intermittent so a hot shower suddenly turned cold then a few minutes later it was hot. There was 2 dinner 7plates, 2 bowls, 2 small plates, 2 forks, spoons and knives. Also 2 pint glasses, 2 wine glasses and 2 coffee cups. Very basic. There was no drain stopper to fill sink to wash dishes so we had to use the sponge with dish soap on it to clean the dishes etc. There is a Kuerig coffee maker! The TV was tricky to use with Roku. We had to call tech support to have it reset and connected to the wifi. It was a cute little cabin, but don't expect a real kitchen to cook in.

I like that the property was between redwood trees. The place was nice but it was a cabin divided in two. At night, the people on the other side of the cabins will put loud music until 1 am in the morning and they talked very loud. The wall was too thin and we could hear everything. It was very unconfortable. There is not security or someone at the front desk after 9 pm so we could not report the situation. The internet does not work well and it is very difficult to even connect. There was not room cleaning.

This was a charming place. I think I even saw an Ewok. However, the young woman in charge at the front desk (the manager's daughter?) didn't look at us, rifled through a stack of envelopes and tossed us ours, told us they were closing early and turned around and walked back into the side room while scrolling on her phone. I sure am glad I didn't have a question. We stayed in a one-room cabin with a bathroom and the bathroom destroyed the entire experience. It looked clean, but it smelled very not clean. I wish I would have had a gallon of bleach with me. The smell burned my nose hairs. Backed up sewer? And it was hot. So hot. They close all the windows and allow it to rise to 110 degrees inside before you arrive. You have to open all the windows and walk away for an hour for it to cool down. That's if it is the evening time and the temperature is a little cooler. If it had been midday. Whoa. Overall, it is a good location and decent for scout troop camp week. We may return, but only if I bring Clorox.

We've stayed here many times over the years, in both our 5th wheel and cabins. Every time was great! The cabins have small kitchenette, but the wares provided are minimal.They have private back decks with a table and chairs, in beautiful foliage surroundings!!! The bathroom has 2 corner mirrors but terrible lighting. Recalling this, I brought my lighted mirror so it worked out fine. The first night we didn't check to see if the TV was connected and working until late evening and it wasn't. Staff came the next morning and after much trial and error, got it working. There's no way we would have been able to get it working on our own!!! There are quite a few eateries nearby and beaches with easy access. We had dinner at Larrupin dinner house 1 mile away, which is outstanding!!!!! Gorgeous and eclectic interior, along with a beautiful outdoor dining area and large backyard that's beautifully manicured with various seating and tables for enjoying the serenity, which we did before dinner and having cocktails but they only have beer and wine. Five stars for service, menu options, chef prepared dishes, location and surroundings!!!!! Our meals, drinks and tip was around $180 and worth every penny for a very special experience on our anniversary!!! Call ahead for reservations as it's very popular and was at full capacity! No bad seats in the place but next time we'll request the outdoor dining patio, equipped with heaters if needed.

The cabin outside the forest was phenomenal but the check in and check out was lacking any hospitality. No welcome or thank you when checking in and out. The lady working reception in the evening was extremely helpful and nice. Also, the note in the room says daily housekeeping to replenish towels, coffee and take out the trash needs to be updated, after coming back in the evening from the park we found no service. Went to the office and informed us we have to ask for service at the office. Nice lodging but we didn’t feel like our business was appreciated

It poured with rain the entire time we were there and the cabin was a welcome, cozy and warm respite. Unfortunately, we did not get to use the deck but can only imagine how lovely it would be to sit there and enjoy the trees and the sweet smells of the forest. All was very quite, as it should be when in the forest. The cabin was very clean. There were just the right amount of dishes to use, wine glasses, water glasses, mugs, bowls and plates. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave. We used all as most of the restaurants were closed at dinner time so we ate from the grocery store deli. The bed was very comfy with soft, clean linens. The towels were large and soft and there was plenty of hot water. The location, which felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, was actually only minutes away from the charming town of Trinidad and the lovely beach at Trinidad head. Of all the places we stayed on coast of Oregon and Northern California, this was our favorite and would return anytime.

This property was a cool Redwoods experience. We had questions the day of about a possible late check in, which they responded quickly to. Our family cabin was clean with mostly everything we would need. Some cleaning rags could have been supplied for pet friendly cabins so we could ensure to wipe paws/ keep the place clean without having to use the towels in the bathroom. I don’t believe they have room service right now, but most cabin-based properties don’t. There’s a little shop with snacks at the check in, but you’ll need to bring groceries from the town nearby. We felt safe but not isolated which was nice. Overall would stay again!

There was nothing that i did not like. Everything was perfect - they thought of everything - even the toaster, which I initially didn't see in the cupboard, and they gave me another one. The checkin and checkout process was seamless. It was toasty warm, not a draft in the place, and the heat came through the floor - genius. We liked it so much, and there was such a dearth of open restaurants on the weekdays that we happily had indoor picnics with supplies from Murphy's and smoked salmon from Klamath. Being there in December was fabulous - very unpopulated. I can't say enough good things about this place.

The cabin was very nice clean and comfy the bed was very small for two people but I knew that going in …the grounds are nice good for kids parking was good for 1 car front desk was easy and staff was nice ..Trinidad is a very small town very limited restaurants found one in town food was good service was super slow staff was nice The Eatery…we also went to the Lurapin to eat but were told that it was a 2 hr wait with no reservation and then they just dismissed us didn’t even ask if we wanted to wait!!! What!!! I guess they can treat people like that because restaurants are very limited around there it was no biggie it looked kind of dirty and old we just went back to the Eatery knowing that the food was good and staff was nice 😊
