Great overall stay! Clean for the most part where it matters. Loved the buffet. However, small pool, dirty washer located inside the Gym which makes it hot for those using the gym. If you just need a clean comfortable stay without use of pool, guest laundry or Gym, it’s excellent!

Efficient check-in & check-out. Staff friendly & professional. Cleanliness was a 10. Neutrogena products in the bathroom were a big plus. Breakfast & coffee was good. Only complaint I have is there arn't enough handicap parking spaces. I saw only two. Plenty of spaces marked for their Diamond members though.

The floors where very hazardous I almost fell twice they where wet with snow and water floor was dirty and bathroom was disguised with toothpaste splatter on the wall I’ll never stay at a Hampton Inn again

Very disappointed.. The whole experience was bad. Room was dirty, cockroach in picture frame between glass and picture. cobwebs in corners. Shower head shimmed with wood. Front Desk girl so rude. She asked if I wanted e-mail receipt when checking out, I said print out please. She rolled her eyes. I said sorry, she came back with "WHAT I DO, WHAT I DO? I didn't complain to anyone about this, didn't want them to think wanted room discount or free. Just will never stay there again.

Great hotel! Perfect location, lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby and a really safe neighborhood. Near highway, but very quiet at night. The hotel was newly remodeled with wonderful amenities. Rooms were super clean. Complementary breakfast was excellent, lots to choose from.

Was not made aware in advance the hotel was under construction. Our toilet wasn’t flushed. Hair and dust all in the bathroom. We didn’t have enough toilet paper or conditioner for a single use. The carpet was damp. A construction worker was at our window. No hot breakfast.

The hotel is nice. Staff is nice- but for $300 a night the bed was hard as a rock. I usually stay at Hilton hotels specifically for the beds. I had to move to the couch at 2 am. We were in town for a competition so our daughter could get good rest- and that was a bust.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were nice but Ida was particularly great and was engaging! Although the public areas were being renovated, the rooms were newly renovated and were excellent! King bed, new bathroom fit out with a walk in shower. It was a very comfortable stay. Location good with a shopping mall right next door, although many shops vacant but there was a Boscov’s which was like a discount department store with great savings. There was also a Texas Roadhouse steak house and Red Robin burger place right outside, very convenient. Only tried the steak house which was great! We would recommend this property highly.

The hotel is under renovation and for $200/night it would’ve been nice to know that was happening rather than walking down hallways where some of the rug was ripped up and you’re walking on flooring. There were rooms with their doors wide open that were being remodeled and it looked like a war zone. The tub water went down very slowly so you were standing in water while you were taking a shower. The walls are paper thin and can hear people closing their doors. I most likely would not stay here again. I paid $200 to stay in a war zone.

We were on the first floor and had a parking lot view. We walked around the room and noticed that things were very clean. The bathroom was pretty modern with a healthy supply of towels and supplies. The only negative was the sofa bed. After being on it for a while, sunk and became uncomfortable to sit on. The bed was comfortable. The coffee area had a lot of supplies. We would recommend this hotel and will return sometime in the future.

I stayed at this hotel about a year and with all honesty. It is nothing compare to my last visit . I checked in the afternoon & the ladies at the front desk were not very pleasant. When a question was asked one would ask another and the other and the another had a rude tone . It seemed like it was more of an inconvenience. The hotel overall needs major renovations. Limited breakfast options.

I am a gold member exclusively staying at Hampton Inns when traveling. This was the first time that I was treated bothchecking in and out by the most rude uncaring girl at the desk. She was demeaning and sarcastict and treated me with disrespect and attitude! I was extremely upset at her attitude. Her name was S. Jones

The service was good but the breakfast was very mediocre. Pretty much only processed foods no healthy options at all besides apples and oranges. How hard is it to have hard boiled eggs, plain yogurt, some granola etc with toppings. For $240 a night I expected more.

We stay at this hotel twice a year for some time now. The area is safe and the hotel is clean which are my 2 priorities. The pillows are too soft but housekeeping brought me a firmer pillow solving the problem. The dining area is under construction which happens. The first day breakfast was ok, the second day it was minimal. My husband and I went out for breakfast. My only real concern since the dining area was a few tables, perhaps the conference room could have been used. There were only 4 tables and the first morning someone was sleeping at one of the tables. I tried to wake him and was unable. This left only 3 tables with multiple people waiting for seats. Perhaps the conference room would have cleared this up.

Hotel was super clean. Service was wonderful even gave us a coupon for texas road house that’s located in parking lot. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options for everyone. They even had flavored coffee cookie butter and pumpkin spice.

Linens were clean and there were plenty in the room. Bedding was clean and bed was comfortable. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so some things couldn't be helped. However, we reserved a King suite and were given a Queen Suite. The couch was well worn and in poor condition. There was a hole in the bathroom wall, covered by an extra flap of wall paper. The continental breakfast was the worst we experienced during our vacation, which included 4 different hotel stays. Cold cereal, prepackaged breakfast sandwiches; the toaster was on the check-in counter and there was seating for 8 guests in chairs that were extremely worn. One flavor of yogurt only, and hard danishes. We've stayed at this hotel in the past and the experience was opposite, which is why we reserved a room there again. Our next visit to York will likely include a stay elsewhere.
