Beds and towels were stained and dirty upon arrival, lamp shade by the bed was covered in mold, only one table on one side the bed, everything is super dated and damp, Ac was set to 60 upon entering the room. Towel rack in bathroom is hanging on my a singular wall screw. If I could get my money back I would.

This hotel is in an area that has been economically destroyed by the closing of the Kentucky Speedway. Thus, the hotel appears to have suffered from a lack of maintenance and attention. The road leading up the hill to the hotel is poorly maintained and very dark at night. The small towel bar above the sink came down off the wall. It was being held by only one screw on the side that had pulled out of the wall. The fabric on the arm of the desk chair was torn. The bed was ok. There was no hot water to make hot tea in the morning. The price was very reasonable. I do feel sorry for the owners or managers: they are making a go of it with nowhere near the amount of business they probably once had.

Had to look for and wait 20 minutes to check in because there was no one at the front desk. Rooms had been renovated but poorly. Elevator was slow despite no one else use it. Looked old and in poor shape. The positive was the room was low in price. We got what we paid for.

The room could use a better cleaning. The shower knob had mold in it. Bed mattress was dirty.
