I chose this Days Inn by Wyndham because of the name, and expected a clean, safe place to stay. The information also stated that a breakfast item was included, and showed a "pastry station" and some individual cereal containers in a lobby/breakfast table type room in the photos...WRONG! Upon check in, the lobby doors were locked, the woman behind the security glass said, No breakfast, only coffee packets in your room. (I don't drink coffee). I had requested a ground floor room due to knee issues, but was told there were none available, but there was an elevator to the 3rd floor and it would be quieter up there. The elevator door almost shut on me, it was filthy and VERY obvious from the odor that the homeless population which was all over the property had been using it as a restroom/urinal!! My keycard had to be "reprogrammed" 2 times, and I (and one of the maids) had trouble actually opening (and closing) the door due to the latch being loose. It was advertised as a 100% smoke-free facility, but the room reeked of stale smoke. It seemed very humid in the room and the sound of running water was coming from the toilet room. There was a stream of HOT water streaming from the bathtub faucet - I couldn't turn the handle any more to make it shut off. I walked down to the office, she said she'd tell maintenance, but in 3 nights, no one ever came. It's hard to sleep with the sound of running water! The ceiling vent was hanging down, and the door was swollen and couldn't shut.

The cops told us it definitely wasn’t a safe area and we saw for ourselves. Bugs, loud, lots of stuff going on, sketchy people

Management and housekeeping need serious improvement. Throughout our week-long stay, we had to deal with a persistent roach infestation—including roaches inside the refrigerator. The furniture was unusable, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. While staff did transfer us to a new room on the 3rd floor, it was far from the elevator, had two queen beds instead of what we needed, and was still not clean. Despite leaving roaches exposed to show the issue, they continued coming from everywhere. The property desperately needs a complete renovation, including deep cleaning, updated furniture, and fresh bedding, pillows, and covers.
