The jacuzzi tub (only in some rooms) was comfortable and spacious for two people; the jets were strong and the water was plenty hot. In addition the hotel has a nicely heated pool inside a glass greenhouse, so you can enjoy some sun even on very cold days. The prices in the winter were very reasonable and it's a great place to go and be warm for a while; I would go back. The free breakfast had pretty good hot sausages and eggs in addition to the usual cold and make-your-own food. The only drawback is that the room layout is a bit awkward; there was no closet, and there was really no suitable table or other surface for two people to eat a meal together in the room. Overall it was a very positive experience in spite of that.

This was a great location and made our trip to visit Newport complete. Our hotel slept eight people! The hotel was clean, the towels the pool and the space was great for our group. The pool was clean too! The breakfast was good and we all left full!

The property is well positioned at the center of town and close to many local businesses in the area. However, we had a bad experience as the pool had yellow stains inside the pool (afraid that it must have been some type of algae) as we developed itchy skin. Breakfast was reasonable, although options were limited. Wish there would have been more of a full continental breakfast.

I would have given this place 4 stars, if it wasn't for the fact that cold air was leaking through the fully closed sliding door and got cold at night time. Otherwise, the pleasant surprise is the option to log into Netflix account despite small screen. The swimming pool in a sunroom setting looks great and hope they fix the leakage issue.

We rented a deluxe room room was kind of dirty no shampoos used bar soaps. Cetepide in the jacuzzi other bugs around the jucuzzi. Pool was cold and area was freezing .

The room itself was very clean and spacious. Nice bathroom facilities. But the hallways and doors leading up to the room were dirty, scuffed, chipped, and just looked 'beat'. New paint job and repair work on trim and doors needed! Trash was left in the hallway for over a day before being picked up.

The first night we had a live cockroach on our sink but no offer to move us. They said they would spray the next day. The next day two more dead bugs in our room and no offer to move us. The next night we found a panty liner on the edge of the pool; they came to clean this up quickly. While the employees seemed kind and grossed out, it didn’t seem to matter. We spent so much money for this room for the Fourth of July weekend, nearly $900. In transparency, we just received notice that we will be refunded a small portion of our stay, 25 percent (insufficient). Save your money and stay elsewhere as it is not clean, it is loud (paper thin walls), and the hotel is not quick to respond.

This hotel is as good as it gets for the price point. If you are just staying in your room to shower and sleep, this is a good option. The rooms are outdated, the toilet takes like five minutes to flush, and the microwave is probably from 20 years ago. The breakfast options are slim and the same every day. We were in a non-smoking room but the halls smelled like cigarettes every day.

The hotel looks like it’s midway through a reno which is something that really should be disclosed. Some parts look really nice. Our room you could tell was in process of being renovated. It was the most unusual layout I’ve ever seen, the bathroom was TINY for what was supposed to be a multiple bed “suite”. The room was also outdated. Sitting area was way too small for a “suite” only two people could sit in a room that had enough beds for 8+. The pool is VERY outdated and the pool walls need to be cleaned. Lobby and breakfast areas are immaculate, which is what lead me to conclude that they have to be in between a reno. Front desk staff however were really friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

The property is definitely pretty old, and it shows in some areas of the hotel. It’s still a very nice place to stay, though beware the walls are incredibly thin and the doors slam shut very loudly. This didn’t impede my sleeping, but it was a very noticeable quirk. I would still recommend this place, as the staff were very lovely and it was in a convenient location. I had a great time staying here.

Reasonably priced. Room was clean and spacious although the bathroom was a little cramped. The free breakfast was fine. The hotel location is in a bit of an industrial area. Our room looked out on the Home Depot parking lot. But it is less than 10 minutes from downtown Newport without the Newport prices.

Doors cannot be opened or closed quietly, so there is a lot of noise in the morning as all movement in the hallway you are in as others open and close doors.

When we checked in, the room temperature was way too hot. It took hours of AC and opening the window to cool it off to a normal temperature. This was a strangely-laid-out room. Very small space for toilet and bathtub. Whirlpool next to the windows, an unfinished closet, but beds were comfortable.

The place was ok to stay for a weekend. The room and the bathroom was small, but okay for a weekend stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The included breakfast was pretty plain and the coffee was terrible. The beds however were comfortable and everything was clean!

It was a weird room set up so the bedside table was closer to the middle of the bed, the tub/ shower was on a platform not really wide enough to feel safe, and only 3 hangers in the room. It was clean and staff were great but it was too expensive for what I got.

Our room was wonderful, though it needed some physical wall repairs in the bathroom. We had a private jacuzzi, which was wonderful!!! However, upon returning from our business trip, we found " resort fees" added to the bill. I spoke with the hotel manager, and she justified the fee and said it could have been higher. When I suggested they simply raise their rates to reflect the actual room cost, I was given a series of justifications that left me not needing to stay at Quality Inn and Suites in the future. Overall, for a $5 fee, they have lost a business customer.

The door in the room is padlocked and broke due to the chain being rusted. Overall disappointed with my stay here.

Upon checking in, we were given a normal room (under $300) and was told they don’t even have suites at this location. They refused to refund the difference between their single room and suite prices. We checked in after 9pm and could not find another hotel. Hotel was disgusting.. Avoid this place at all costs

The hotel is clean. Front desk staff were friendly, but the breakfast serving team were different. They didn't make enoug food for the morning. When I asked them to bring in more, the staff refused, with the reason that preparison requires a lot of time, so when finished, the breakfast time would be passed. Also, the breakfast did not taste good.

For $200 a night I expected more. The hotel was old and needed updating . It was clean but you could see repairs that desperately need to.done. It detracted from the look of the hotel. Breakfast was awful. Processed eggs ect.
