The rooms look nice. The view from floor 2 is god awful. That's the problem with getting hotel rooms from Expedia, you don't know what they're setting you up with. I assume up to floor 4 is just as bad. For the cost of the room, its not worth it. The problem with these resorts that have pools, is they're usually so tiny and filled with kids. No thanks. Parking is like 50 a night for motorcycles. Terrible pricing! Edit: regarding owner response, I wish I would have known that, but I would have assumed you would of asked me to pay more which i was unwilling to do for a better view. Also tell me why Hawaiian Village hilton charges 10 bucks a day for parking motorcycles and you guys are 50? Motorcycles are small..let me guess you charge 100$ for regular vehicles ?

I came to Outrigger Waikiki with family, so Outrigger was their choice. We all found it disappointing. Definitely not worth the price being charged. Not enough facilities for the number of guests. Queuing for sun loungers by the tiny pool which were all gone by 8.30. Ridiculous charges for beach loungers and umbrellas. Long waits to get a table at Dukes in the evening. Website does not mention the noisy renovations taking place on Lobby floor. Staff were pleasant but this place was nothing special and unless it was the only place available on your chosen dates, I would not recommend it.

A hotel right at the beach! The beach is fantastic The hotel is a European 3,5star quality, and you pay for the beach access! Wikiki is crowded and uptempo. Overall a very nice hotell with friendly people and great service!

Staff was so attentive the moment I put on my blinker to turn onto property. Valet, baggage and check in was a breeze. My luggage arrived into our room a couple minutes after we did. Access to beach was u see construction so that was a little walk to get to but not to bad. The only thing missing was a hot tub at pool area. Plus the pool was cold and very small in size. For the price of the hotel I would say it’s over priced and I wouldn’t stay there again. I will stick to the Hawaiian Village great place to stay for the right price.

Renovations are ongoing at the property, and the style of the rooms are old-fashioned Hawai’ian (traditional wood furniture). However, the staff are extremely nice and the location is lively. Live music always going downstairs starting at 4pm like clockwork. I enjoyed my stay and rated it as much. The bonus: Being able to do laundry near the outdoor pool entrance at anytime using either coins or a swipe debit/credit card.

The property is pretty tired, and the pool is nothing to write home about (very small). Limited seating around it, and only a few chairs offered shade, which was a little frustrating. You could get chairs with an umbrella on the beach, but there was an extra charge for that. I was disappointed with the service around the pool as well, I flagged down a server who said she would be with me in a couple minutes - 25 minutes later...still no server - so we ordered food elsewhere. Not a huge deal, just disappointing. Parking is atrocious. $60 a night, plus taxes - absolutely insane. Then there is a daily resort fee on top of that. For how tired this hotel is, the additional $110+ per day for parking and the resort fee was rough. The elevators are a nightmare - especially around busier times of day. They don't come when they say they are, completely full and you can't fit on them, tells you one elevator when really it's another, multiple calls to get an elevator - it was annoying. At one point, I waited almost 15 minutes for an elevator. The pros: Dukes was great! Their Mango BBQ Burger was one of the best we have had in a long time. The fish tacos were fantastic as well. Drink prices are pretty average for Waikiki $17 or so a piece. The view from our room was beautiful as well, and the room size itself was nice and large. However, the bed was quite uncomfortable and you could feel any tiny movement your partner made while sleeping. The location of the hotel is great!

Excellent location. Right on the beach with access from the hotel. Beach was clean, powder sands and staff helped find surfing lessons for kids. We attended a show at BlueNote jazz club and rental car was valet parked with quick service. Highly recommended.

Selected the hotel because going to a performance at the blue note which is in the same building. Room was fine but there was a totla lack of amenities. Said they had 3 hot tubs-there weren't any. Not sure what the $50 resort fee was for as we got no benefits from it.

The other two outriggers may have nicer buildings and more updated amenities, but I preferred the beach here much more. It's a little noisy at night, and the pool is on the small side, but this has to be one of the better beaches (especially for kids).

I love this place and we've been coming here yearly for years. We always get the same type of room. Housekeeping staff is always very nice and do an awesome job cleaning our room everyday. Valet guys are also very nice as well as the front desk. Hotel has great shopping and a convenient ABC store. 2 great restaurants Duke's and Hula Grill. Nice pool and music near by.

Closet and dresser were broken, coffee machine didn’t work. Elevator was broken too had to replace my cards many times and still didn’t work. Resort was half time closed either party or something else. Service was not friendly. Issues with room cleaning. Restaurant’s food wasn’t good.

The property is perfectly located for just a short walk to the beach and the staff were amazing. I just wish the room was a little more reasonable but still the view was amazing and room spotless our cleaning lady was so very friendly and our room was always clean. thank you for a great mini get away with my daughter and friend.

Alway a great time at the outrigger, ac leaked in the closet and it took some doing for the management to take accountability, really disappointing as we have stayed there many times, as we checked out it turns out it’s a common problem as the AC unit sits inside the closet. No notes were made so they tried to charge for the dried cleaning bill, but the lovely lady that checked us out quickly corrected the mistake. Staff all around are truly amazing, the only hiccup came from management.

Property is in the heart of Waikiki which has pros and cons. It's walkable to restaurants and shops. However it's very noisy and getting in and out of property is difficult because of the amount of people on the street. Room amenities were ok. Shower was inside a half bathtub. Sofa bed was badly worn and very uncomfortable. Double beds were also very uncomfortable, old and lopsided.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. We purchased a city view room and received a room that looked straight at the side of another building. Room was really scary when we walked in it was so appaling. To rectify this mistake they gave us the room we originally requested/purchased and a pie coupon.

Front desk was very helpful and kind and upgraded us to ocean view for my husband’s birthday! Direct access to beach and all shops / food was very walkable from hotel. Every night was a party which I did not mind! Stop by the pearl factory the owner is very kind and genuinely loves her job and has beautiful pearl jewelry for sale!

Our stay was awesome until we checked out the day of the tsunami warning. We checked out at 11am. Our flight didn’t leave until 10pm. When the tsunami warnings were announced, we returned to the hotel and were treated as persona non gratis. Hotel personnel were non accommodating, no concern was expressed for our essential homelessness, no options provided for our safety despite the $$$ we had spent on accommodations over the previous 8 days. When our flight was canceled at 7pm, we checked back in and were advised they would charge a hardship rate, which ended up being more than the daily rate we had paid previously. We had no choice...the whole island had shut down. All restaurants and shops were closed, therefore no food was available, and no offer to accommodate food or beverage needs were made. I understand it was a stressful time for both staff and guests alike, however, the treament we received was unacceptable.

The hotel was great. Check in was nice and she was very friendly. 2 other times when approaching the front desk the gentleman were not very friendly. Bell hop and valet were wonderful! Unfortunately we had no service to clean our room on our 3 last days. We had to call and ask and be told they would bring towels and toilet paper to help until the next day and again we returned after being away from 5am til 5pm and our room was not cleaned. I loved the hotel and location. Parking is not ideal…. $60 to valet or $45 to park blocks away was unfortunate.

We had an issue upon check-in with the adjacent room (not our traveling party) and before we “settled in” the front desk staff handled it and moved us to a different room. It was all handled quickly, painlessly, and efficiently. We have been staying at the Outrigger Waikiki for over 30 years and we are always welcomed back like Ohana every visit. Mahalo to the employees, especially the valet and bell staff. They have seen our children grow up who are now having and bringing their children back to Waikiki!

This hotel is fantastic as it’s right on the beach, as well as right in the center of great shops. The restaurants are fantastic especially the Outrigger- views, a bar, great service and delicious choices. Staff everywhere so helpful and full of smiles. Can’t wait to go back

Across the street from the international marketplace, Cheesecake Factory on the corner. Location is great! Food/lunch and Sunday breakfast at Dukes was terrible. Coffee shop in hotel is terrible. Recommend eating offsite.

This outrigger is on the beach. We stay with our young children because it is easy to go to the beach in the morning, nap and rest around lunch, and then return to the pool or beach late afternoon. It makes for an easy stay. We don't have to eat at the hotel because there are food halls with more family friendly choices across the street. We also stayed in a club room, which included breakfast on the water. It's a very relaxing, family-friendly hotel.
