This hotel is fine. It's an airport hotel with a shuttle. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the shuttle operated on time, and they had some small breakfast items out in the morning. The only complaint I have is the same complaint I have with every hotel at JFK. They're way too expensive. This is not a $250 a night hotel, no matter how good and well kept the property is. This is like a Fairfield Inn or Garden Inn. The price should be closer to $120-$140 a night. But it's JFK so...

If you just need sleep on a layover and aren't picky about food, this spot will do the trick at about $200-225 less than TWA hotel.

Staff was ok and room was clean. Except for the rugs. They were filthy and I know this because my white socks were BLACK. The hotel's breakfast wasn't even breakfast. hard Bagels and pound cake. The hotel is old ! It needs simple USB plugs like all the other hotels. Free parking was great ! Location was Great, the bed was very comfortable. Just the entire hotel was beat up and in need of updating especially for the price. Cleaning Staff were wonderful also.

The hotel is older, which I expected. The room looked okay, but the bathroom was filthy. There were long hairs everywhere and what appeared to be curly pubic hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The toilet also had what looked like poop smears in the bowl. I should have notified the staff, but after traveling for hours with small kids, I just couldn't bring myself to ask to switch rooms. We stayed for about eight hours. On the positive side, the airport shuttle was convenient, and the driver was great.

Stayed the night before a flight from JFK. Easy check-in, quiet, pleasant staff, common areas and room was very clean. Could use new pillows and room was a little musty upon checkin, but for our purposes it was perfect - about 10 minutes from JFK and very reasonable price.

Friendly manager on front desk Friendly shuttle driver at 6am. We could not get pick up on the way to the hotel (took at uber: $30) but booked the shuttle back to the airport. That worked very well. A decent stay at The Five Towns for and early JFK flight. Breakfast starts at 6am so we didn't get to experience it. There are shops close by including chemists, TJ Maxx and supermarket. Good for an airport hotel, some noise with people arriving late at night which is understandable. Airport shuttle was ideal. One real complaint, the bed was squeaky which is a sign of age of some of the fittings and furniture.

It took more than 45 minutes for the hotel shuttle to show up, then the driver didn’t get off to load up our bags or to open the car door, we did it our selvas, the guy didn’t even say hi or anything, same thing when we checked in, no customer Service at all not even greet us.

This is the second time I have stayed in the this hotel. The first time was good this time not so much the lady and the front desk when I called get picked up from the airport was very rude. I was told she would send someone in about ten minutes because it would take a while for me to get to where I would be picked up then I was waiting in the cold for 25 minute to be picked up. Then I got to the hotel same lady from the phone again rude during check in and then again on the phone when setting up shuttle back to the airport for the morning. I come to New York every few weeks. I do not think I will be staying here again.

The staff was very rude and impolite. They were NOT guest friendly at all and spoke as if they were doing us a favor. Even when asked for basic amenities like tooth brush etc they frowned. At times felt they were disrespectful and discriminatory too. Except for the shuttle drivers and one of the staff in laundry everyone was curt. Overall an extremely bad stay.

Very expensive for an extremely basic and dated hotel that isn’t even that close to the airport. Very clean and tidy and staff friendly. Shuttle only runs on the hour and due to the works at JFK you have to get the airtrain to meet it which easily adds 20 mins to the journey!

Being stuck in JFK this was the perfect accommodation. However, hotel is a little outdated but very clean. Staff was very cold and direct but quick and efficient. Breakfast was only bread, juices and cereal. Not very continental, however, Places to eat are about a 12 min walk.

I can't speak about the area around the property. Our flight itinerary included an overnight layover so we arrived after dark, showered, slept, and were out before daylight. The shuttle was perfect for our needs. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. A nice coffee/tea station was ready and waiting in the lobby when we arrived. Our room was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay again if we were flying in/out of JFK and needed a room.The only improvement we would suggest is to upgrade the towels.
