The checkin process was quick and the welcome bag was really nice. Breakfast was great with many options. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. The pool area is relatively small. It would be just fine on a “normal” weekend but this was a softball tournament weekend. There was a large amount of families with multiple children so the pool and hot tub areas were packed so we chose not to use it. The shopping and dining options so close to the hotel were awesome.

Everything was superb. The lobby was extremely welcoming and so was the staff. I have never dealt with such wonderful front desk people. Our rooms were in GREAT condition, large and comfortable. Easy to control the temperature of the room and the heat unit was relatively quiet. The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in room. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Good choices, including 5 fresh fruits, even grapefruit, pears and nice fresh bananas. Coffee is always available in the lobby and they had cookies. There was a reading nook at the top of the stairs, and even the outside had a warm welcoming vibe. Nice pool and hot tub. Business area available

The room was large and comfortable. The price was a value for what we got. We were on the 3rd floor, the elevator was slow, and the ice machine isn't on that floor, but that was all manageable. The train tracks run next to the hotel, but I slept through it in the night. The refrigerator isn't plugged in, so turn it on if you are going to use it. It is close to a restaurant with a diverse menu and the breakfast was plenty.

Had to press the bell 3 times before someone came to check us in. The room was large and clean. Sadly we booked our stay on a weekend where there was a sports event so the room above us was very loud. We called down several times and they said sorry and would talk to them but the people were still loud. Maybe we will try again.

Overall, a pretty nice hotel for the price. Pros - Pool is nice, breakfast was good, room layout is very nice (especially if you have kiddos!), night time staff member Tracy was amazing (our kid was briefly sick in the middle of the night and she helped us a LOT with new supplies, gloves, sheets, etc.). Cons - Ice machine on our floor was broke but the biggest frustration was the housekeeping situation. Our kid was sick in the middle of the night and we had changed out the sheets and bagged up all of the mess but still needed the room cleaned, garbage taken out and supplies restocked. The first day, we left at 10a. I stopped at the front desk before we left and asked that everything in our room be turned over. They said, yes with the sick kid, we have notes, which made me feel they new we needed a cleaning. We got back at 2p and nothing had been done. The front desk said we had the DND sign on (which we didn't anymore, my kiddo put it on the bathroom door before we left because she thought it would be funny). We confirmed for the next day. We left at 8a and got back at 2 and it hadn't been done. The staff was still there and stopped by our room around 3-330 and we asked for a moment because we were finishing getting changed for the pool (as in 2 minutes - kid was going to the bathroom). We asked for towels and a change of sheets. They didn't come back. We were there for a funeral and already stressed out - adding this on top was just really disappointing.

Checking in was smooth, employee was friendly. The gift bag was a nice added touch. Breakfast was basic - nothing fancy. My father went to hold the elevator door open for an employee and the sensor didn't detect his hand so he ended up with a cut on his hand, bleeding all over. I was not impressed whatsoever - there was nothing provided by the staff in terms of this. Someone was injured badly on their hand because of the elevator and no one offered a reduced rate, nothing. If anything, the person at the desk was just justifying the elevator. Kept saying that there is a sensor in the middle but he must have put his hand out of the sensor area. This is also the first hotel I have stayed in where you do not see the inspection date and if it passed inspection in the elevator, so that was odd. I would stay here again in a pinch, but it wouldn't be my first option just from a safety standpoint with the elevator (my parents are older, so stairs are not an option for them, so the elevator was the only way we could get to our room).
